This location has terrible service. The staff is extremely rude, and the food is not fresh at all. The staff acted as if we were bothering them to come in, even though it was mid-day and not even close to closing. When we asked questions about the food, this particular employee was rude and condescending, as if to say, "How dare we have questions?" We ended up leaving and went to another nearby location owned and managed by much more professional staff. Their food was extremely fresh, and their staff was so kind. Don't waste your time here. I was really excited for this location in Covington! Love that it's right across from the Gym! Every time I would drive by I would see the lights on. So bright, clean and welcoming! I've been wanting the seared salmon bowl from here, but the menu changed a bit. They still had a seared salmon bowl, but it came with other sides to go with it and I'm not a big fan of all those other sides. Corn? Sorry, not what I would like in my Poke. But instead, the young lady that was helping let me choose what I wanted with that new seared salmon bowl they have available. Which was very nice of her to let me do that. Food was delicious. I had visited the Renton store in the past but decided to give the Covington store a try. I was very happy with the numerous choices of food. Very similar to Renton so from a franchise standpoint, very consistent. Got the large Poke bowl! It had spicy Ahi, Hawaiian ahi, and spicy salmon. I also upgraded and added Avocado! There was spicy Krab, seaweed salad, and they have numerous sauces to mix with your poke bowl. The only thing I wish is they would have spooned everything over the rice, the lady mixed all the pokes and sauces in a bowl together instead of leaving them separate and drizzling sauce over the bowl. I've been to many Poke shops and have never had that done before. Great flavor. I was surprised for ordering the large bowl it wasn't super large, I was able to finish it all which usually I can't finish my poke bowls. This new location opened recently, and since I am in Covington frequently, I gave it a try. I was not disappointed. The staff was very friendly, and the interior of the restaurant was very clean and welcoming. I ordered the dynamite bowl with spicy Ahi, tuna, shrimp, spicy crab, jalapeños, cucumber, and some crunchy toppings. Everything was fresh and delicious. I really enjoyed my poke bowl and the other item items I had purchased. Place was very clean and the girl who served me was really nice I got the following: Miso soup: i give it a 8/10. It had a lot of green onions which I enjoyed very nice and was nice and hot especially in this cold weather. Just enough salt and very tasty. Shrimp tempura: 9/10 this is one of my favorites when I come here. They never disappoint. It always has a nice crisp and the sauce that comes with it is nice and sweet. Pike place bowl: 7/10 fish was nice and fresh. Needed something to make it tasty. Seemed a bit bland. Spam Musubi: 8/10 it was nicely flavored and the rice and spam were cooked perfectly. I have been going here due to the convenience of location and it's been working out okay but today's experience has cemented the fact that I will never come back nor would I recommend anyone else to come here. My mom loves the crab salad but is unable to eat the Poke proteins due to allergies and current radiation treatments. I was getting a bowl to surprise her, with no protein (I was happy to pay full price if needed.) I explained all of the restrictions and what I was trying to do to the employee Jerry, who is the PRIMARY reason on why I will never return to this location. He: 1. did not care at all 2. straight up just said that it wasn't possible 3. gave no alternative options 4. explained NOTHING 5. was so unhelpful I was pretty much speaking to a brick wall. After being so irritated from standing in this poke bar for 25 minutes with no resolution staring at Jerry who was doing nothing helpful in the process, I figured we could use tofu as a protein if we HAD to choose a protein. After that painful process, I used my free protein from the points I had (which further proves I GO HERE A GOOD AMOUNT) and my bowl ended up being STILL $20 for a regular. I got two bowls and the bowl with a forced protein was $5 more than normal. I asked Jerry for the reason and he said it was because I chose tofu. Instead of staying any longer in the most painful environment talking to Jerry, I paid and left. I am usually a good customer, I'm not too picky, I am never hard on the employees, I praise and acknowledge, and I tip damn well. I write good reviews but this experience had my blood boiling and I've never met an employee who just looked and acted like he would rather be anywhere else. Jerry, please find a different job if you are not happy where you are because you are literally making everyone also unhappy with your attitude and demeanor. I needed to find a poke a bowl closer to the auburn location & this was the closest with great reviews. It's located in Covington next to a Taekwondo studio. It's a small nook but you can still dine in. We ordered two sizes: large & regular. We chose to build our own. The poke sizes are a big portion as well as generous toppings. The young man that served us was very friendly. He even offered me a taste test of the spicy ahi as I couldn't eat spicy food. Overall this place is great! The service, location and food are all a thumbs up for me. Most people come here for pick up, but we decided to eat here. There's also a clean restroom for customers. read more

I have enjoyed all of the bowls I have eaten so far, but I mostly go for the build your own bowl so I can choose exactly exactly what I want. Everything there taste fresh and I really enjoy the options. All of the staff are also very nice. The service has been excellent both times I have gone to Just Poke. No one was behind me waiting so I got an excellent education and suggestions from the women that served me. The food was fresh, clean, and tasty. Because it was warm in the restaurant, I requested fresh ahi from underneath the counter because it was quite warm inside. The restaurant is surrounded by windows, but keeping it cooler with air conditioning seems prudent when selling raw fish. Other than that suggestion, 5 stars! read more

i love their açaí bowls but a lot of the time their employees are sloppy when making them. they just plop the almond butter in the middle and don't make them in the correct order which makes it harder to eat and less enjoyable. putting granola before almond butter should be a crime. also cutting the singular strawberry they put into 4ths it's pretty lame. they don't always do this but it seems the new hires just don't care. the one in maple valley would never read more
