I love that they offer several suggested signature salads and bowls so you don't have to build your own each time! I got the Thai Chicken Crunch first, subbed a few things in and out, and it was delish. From the service to the quality to the portion sizes, I am impressed to the great moon and back!! Allow me to please tell the story of my great experience with Just Salad... For nearly six years, I quickly sauntered by this restaurant at least two times daily. It is hard for me to try a new place because I am very rigid and specific, demanding only the best when it regards my nourishment. So I never ordered. But one day, about two months ago, as I browsed a food delivery app, I noticed an advertisement for Just Salad, and I thought, "Oh such pretty salads!!" So I googled Just Salad and found their very own app which offered a $5 credit for the first order. After researching ingredients (all acceptable to me) and reading reviews, I excitedly ordered the Plant Power salad, delete the honey mustard dressing, adding 4x miso ginger dressing (I like a lot of dressing!). When I arrived to fetch my salad, I noticed an amusement park-sized line wrapped around the establishment; and I quickly ventured to the pickup section where a gentlemen so efficiently and properly announced customer names as he placed the orders either into the customers' hands or onto the to-go rack. I have since learned the name of this gentleman: Mike from corporate. Store managers Victor and Linda also passionately provide great service. In fact, all of the employees offer a divine experience!! AND THE SALAD IS ENORMOUS AND DELICIOUS, exactly something that my lunchtime needs and cravings command. I behave mostly as a vegan, and this restaurant, despite serving animal products, never cross contaminates into my vegan salad. It is always clean and wonderful. Can't believe it has taken me so long to try a Just Salad but wow I'm impressed! I saw they were located in the Merch Mart and was pumped to see some healthier lunch options here. I went in blind but was happy to see they had a section with popular choices and I ended up ordering the first one I read, which was the crispy chicken poblano. OUUUU - I see why it's so popular. Romaine + shredded kale, avocado, roasted corn, cotija cheese, pickled onions, tortillas, and crispy chicken. This salad was PERFECTION! The pickled onions really elevated it and added the perfect tang to compliment the rest of the flavors. It was served with a smoky poblano ranch dressing that's made in house. The meal in total was about 520 calories and super filling! Salads are pricey nowadays, but I feel like this was worth it and something I wouldn't feel bad about treating myself to every so often. You can also order warm bowls, wraps, and avocado toast, smoothies, and soups (despite the name LOL). The staff working was speedy and really kind to me as a first timer. I was intimidated initially by the line, but it moved really quickly. I was in and out in probably ten minutes, even though the line stretched to the entrance point. I got the summer salad, which had romaine, beets, blood oranges, quinoa, goat cheese, mint, and almonds, aside some other goodies. The bowl was well balanced and had just the right amount of different textures. I'm a sucker for goat cheese, and I liked the drama that the blood oranges brought. The older man who waited on me was RUDE and acted as though me and my daughter were a burden. I tried the new Just Salad in the Merchandise Mart today and loved it! I opted to pay the $1 for a reusable bowl and ordered the California salad. It was really good-- the salad is chopped so every bite had a perfect amount of salad dressing! It was a large serving (but for $10-$11, I would hope my salad would be large). Someone asked what I would be ordering and then handed me a ticket which I gave to someone behind the counter-- it was seemingly chaotic behind the counter but it was overall a seamless experience for me on the other side. Pretty straightforward ordering process and an expansive menu! Variety of salads or you can choose to build your own. The Thai Chicken Crunch caught my eye (I love a spicy peanut dressing), with romaine, grilled chicken, carrots, celery, and wontons! The salad is chopped so you get the perfect crunch with every bite! You can also choose light, medium, or heavy dressing which I appreciated. The spicy peanut dressing is creamy, but not heavy, and has the perfect kick to it! The salad is huge! You never know with a salad if you're going to be full after eating it, but with this one, I definitely was. The staff was also very nice. The lady helping me could tell this was my first time, and walked me down the line to make sure I knew exactly what I was getting. So nice! I went on an off time so it wasn't crowded, but due to their small size, I can see this place being wild during peak lunch hours. Overall a great salad and great experience! Tried to order the pick two with warm chicken and goat cheese salad, only to be told that the warm salads are not available with pick 2. I said fine I will order just the salad. They still used the smaller pick 2 salad bowl and charged me as much as a larger bowl. My friend that got a larger salad bowl with cold chicken paid less. When I asked why my salad costs so much for a smaller bowl, the worker said the warm chicken costs more. Hmm, my guess is that you gave me the pick 2 small bowl! We'd just discovered Just Salad and we love it! We tasted différents salads and all are very tasty and good. They ask you what kind and quantity of dressing do you want. Everything is fresh, sustainable and vegetables comes from the nearby. I love the sustainability for the bowls and forks. A place to be, where everybody has to go!! read more

So finally one day I stopped in for a smoothie, & employee Niecole suggested the peanut butter one which is her favorite. I told her I don't like peanut butter but I would trust her. So I double back like a month later for a salad, & was politely greeted by Niecole again & told her I love spicy food so she suggested a Buffalo Chicken Salad....& it was so so good! The young woman who took care of me, Nia, and the other woman who helped her with my order were great and had a remarkably pleasant attitude....especially on a day when no one wants to be at work!
