They say they're supposed to be open at 10:00 a.m. I got there at 10:45 but I had to wait for them to warm up the soup in like an hour and that's not cool especially considering they were supposed to be open at 10:00 I don't understand why I had to wait when I got there at 10:45 that makes no sense to me. Furthermore I ordered a veggie melt and it wasn't warm and there was no cheese it was just a sandwich with some mayonnaise and vegetables and they didn't even explain to me that it came with hot peppers so it was two real waste of my money and time I won't be going back there anymore and I would advise anybody not to go there either cuz whoever they got managing that store that's not know what they doing and they need to either change management or calls that tore down because they're wasting people valuable kind and not getting there orders right. read more

I work in the area and I get that the lunch rush can be difficult I did a pick up online pick up order and I had no idea what was happening. They seemed to be overwhelmed with an order and would barely acknowledge the customers at the counter. When they finally spoke to me. I told them I had a pick up order and the young man mumbled something I THINK he said it'll be ready in a moment but I wasn't sure. When another young man began to help customers he asked me what I needed and I told him the same thing. He reached behind several bags and retrieved my order. Which means it was just sitting there. Sure enough when I got back to work my sandwich was cold. Imagine eating a cold toasted sandwich. Good times. I ordered a turkey sandwich and there was barely any turkey on it. I also ordered a skinny which is less bread. This was definitely not a skinny. Lastly they had a promo going for a free cookie with the order but I indeed was charged for the cookie. How hard is it to follow instructions. Every time I order in front of them, they take their time and do it right and when I order online and just pick it up, it is never how I ordered it. Confused by the low ratings here! They have had some issues of people walking in and stealing pick-up orders so now you have to pick it up behind the counter. Their app is so easy to use and they have great new sandwich menu options. I also like that there's so many different sizes and things you can change about each sandwich (e.g., no blue cheese and more provolone in their steakhouse beef). My usual favorite is their Italian or Mediterranean sandwiches. They also have a huge selection of chips. Employees are nice here and don't skimp on ingredients! read more

I was not having a good lunch-buying experience yesterday and was contemplating staying away from PB on Milw Ave for a while. This one star rating goes entirely to the manager, Vanessa. She is rude to customers and staff. First she yelled at us to move down to pay before we could tell them what to put on our sandwiches. Then when one sandwich was missing from my bag and I simply looked at her, she snapped "what do you want?" Of course the sandwiches were wrong because she doesn't know how to listen. I've always loved potbellys and I'll continue to love it but this location has been very disappointing the past couple months. The employees were always great and never made any mistakes but the new employees that they hired have messed up every single order since then. I always order a TKY on wheat with everything just no oil or seasoning and my boyfriend orders the wreak on flat with everything with no mayo or oil. We've never eaten at this establishment since we always take it home. Whenever we open our sandwiches Surprise my TKY is loaded with oil and seasoning only and the wreck only had mayo and oil. This has happened 4 times. FOUR TIMES!!! Why?!! Another thing that really bothers me is that these girls were cleaning the table tops and the food station with gloves but then makes sandwiches without EVER changing their gloves. So disgusting and very unsanitary!! What happened to this great neighborhood potbelly?! Please have your employees change their gloves, wash their hands and pay better attention to customers orders. read more

I disagree with the low ratings..I been to Potbelly's all over this city and every sandwich, soup and salad was. My favorite sandwiches from this chain are their Chicken Salad, Turkey and Ham sandwiches. Favorite soups are Chicken Enchilada and Chicken Pot Pie (their Vegetable soup is also delicious). Top choices for salad (my preferences) are their Uptown Salad or Chicken Salad Salad. This restaurant is worth every penny spent. read more

First time I have been to this location. I love PotBelly's and it is a consistent reliable sandwich and I always enjoy the Wreck, but ordered the Turkey and it was just as delicious. I order it with everything including the giardinera for that little extra kick to it and love it! The place is very long and narrow so not a lot of sitting room like in most I have been to, but it was crowded when I went in for dinner. Service is quick, prompt and courteous. read more

The sandwiches are as good as any Potbelly...and Potbelly happens to be my favorite sandwich shop! I generally get the TKY and a broccoli soup. I love that you can also buy hot peppers by the jar...so good! Service at this location can be a little slow. There used to be a really awesome manager (Shawn?) who was super efficient and awesome, but now the employees seem to be a little less than thrilled to make your meal. Sometimes the ordering process can be chaotic, with other people's sandwiches coming out of the toaster haphazardly and out of turn, but doesn't bother me too much...I get my sandwich within a few minutes and I'm ready to eat! read more

I've reviewed a few Potbelly shops in the past and for the most part, I like. However there is a caveat. I have a sort of love/hate relationship wtih turkey and the hate comes by way of the deli turkey that sandwich places like Potbelly, JJ's, Subway, et al use. I once had an encounter with a "bad" bite of turkey from JJ's that will forever keep me from ordering it again. I had a similar yet not as severe experience from Potbelly before too. Wasn't terrible but just not good, hard to explain, the taste was off putting. But it only happened maybe twice. At any rate, I had a craving for Potbelly's Wreck, Salami, Roast Beef, Ham and Turkey. About 1/2 way through that off putting taste come through, not bad but discernible. And thus concludes my review of this Potbelly. I may go back and may get A Wreck but will surely 86 the Turkey, so as to not offend my turkey tastebud sensibilities. read more

The restaurant has so many signs up you don't know where to look first. The line is inefficient and confusing. Then when you place your order or ask questions, you can't hear the answers because the music is so loud and the celings are so high. I just ordered a meatball sub to be safe; it tasted terrible. The line to pay was so bad, I was just glad to get out of there, spending 12.00 on sub par. You would be better off eating crackers for lunch then eat here cause this place is downright awful! read more

My worst nightmare has come true. They've opened a Potbelly Sandwich Shop within walking distance to my home and work. This is a good one. Hell, they're all good ones. I literally hadn't eaten Potbelly in about 3 years. That all changed today, and I have a feeling that trend is going to continue. At least they close at 9. No late night snacking. read more

Maybe it's because I'm used to folk in Philly, but I thought the entire staff here was awesome. Everyone was attentive, polite and in a good, upbeat mood. We shared a large broccoli and cheddar soup, a California sandwich with all of toppings, and an Oreo shake. The soup was cheddary heaven, the hoagie had the perfect balance of heat from the peppers and chill from the avocado, and the Oreo shake was just lovely. Ps- the bags of chips were super good too! (Never heard of the brand, but yummm). Price to food quality and service... I'd definitely give this place 4 stars and would certainly come back! read more

I meant to write this review a few weeks ago. Its always nice to go into a place and receive nice service and sometimes you only notice it on annoying days. I went in to get a large shake for my friend who was not feeling well. I asked for the biggest one they had. The girl told me its only one size (which i was totally fine with). But then a man behind the counter said "i can make it work, is this size ok?" and he held up a large soda cup. He didnt have to but he went out of his way to make it work for me, without knowing my day was a not so easy one. Dont worry, he charged me for two milkshakes, which I was also 100% ok with. Okay, I've been in here many times and given the slow, indifferent service + attitude the benefit of the doubt each time. But after today, no more. There are four, possibly five people behind that counter. I wait for a family of four to finish ordering, then order an Italian on white. As usual, the staff takes forever to figure out how to finish their sandwiches and ring them up. As the last of the four pays up, I see five sandwiches pile up at the end of the toaster conveyor. After about five minutes of this, the guy finishing sandwiches goes to get mine, and when I tell him I had an Italian he can't find one. Turns out the front end guy, despite my clearly and nicely stating "original Italian on white", had made me a Wreck. Okay, fine, they'll make me one. Mistakes happen. But never mind they've just about blown through the company's 8 minute guarantee: They've long since stopped giving a fuck about the company's friendly service policy, and they've probably screwed up the 8 minute guarantee many times over before now. And now they're pushing other sandwiches ahead of mine, because now the line behind me is to the front door. The finisher asks for assistance, and none of the 3-4 other employees behind the counter, only two of which appear to actively be doing something, seem to care. The manager is on the phone clearly trying hard to take a phone order as slowly as he possibly can. After another 3-4 minutes, the finisher suddenly hands me a sandwich after squirting liquid on it, a red flag since I told him I only wanted lettuce and tomato. After about a minute of trying to get his attention, I point out the sandwich isn't mine and he goes, "Uh, huh, I don't know why I handed it to you." At some point in the next minute he finds the stray Italian, now languishing with 3-4 other sandwiches piled at the end of the belt. I told him my toppings again and get the sandwich. The clerk goes, "Uh, yeah, sorry about that," with about as much sincerity as a burned out Walmart greeter. I pay for and take the last sandwich I'll ever buy from this shitty Potbelly location, eat the sandwich and leave. Potbelly upper management needs to step in and intervene on this terribly run location full of spitefully lazy hipster losers. This entire staff probably needs to be fired. Go across the street to Al's or go to another Potbelly location. To put it very kindly, this one sucks. read more
