Went to Just Smog It today to get a smog test. I had read some of the reviews here about the business which impressed me, so I decided I would give them a try. Big mistake! The young guy sitting behind the desk in a hoodie was extremely unprofessional and rude. I knew I had walked into the wrong busy when I saw how the desk guy was treating the person in line in front of me. Well, I ended up cancelling the job because of the very rude attitude. No way am I going to support a business that will treat its customers like they are a nuisance. So I took my business to a competitor down the street (Ace Auto Smog), and the person at that business was very professional, friendly, and efficient. read more

Great & fast service. I called ahead an was informed they work on first come first serve. I showed up at 11am. No line. They smogged my car and had me checked, service ld and out the door in approximately 15 minutes. I was able to drive straight to the dmv kiosk and get my sticker the same day. read more

Friendly service, got us in and out, overall excellent customer service, would go back 100%. Accidentally left my wallet in one of their guest chairs (first time ever btw!) and called when I noticed. They locked it up for me until I was able to get back. Super great and we will bring all our cars here and refer friends as needed. read more

I went around 11 today (a Saturday). I was in and out so fast, I didn't get to read many pages of the book I brought! The waiting room is very clean with a nice TV and several magazines. As long as I am living in this area I'll definitely be taking my car here for smog. read more

Drove in on a Saturday, without an appointment, Manager (Owner?) came in from service area, greeted us immediately and professionally, asked for our DMV paperwork, and scanned my son's driver's license (it was his 2014 Mustang). Offered us a cup of coffee, told it would be a few minutes and returned from service area advising that his car had successfully passed. Manager then carefully explained that smog test results are filed with DMV electronically by him and pointed out options for submitting Registration renewal form with DMV. We were in AND OUT In about 20 minutes. To top it all off they have a $10 off coupon on line. I see no reason you should look anywhere else for your smog service here in Martinez. read more

Had to get a star smog in February and was in the area after I went to my mechanic. They were quick, efficient and incredibly nice. Looks like they changed management and I was completely impressed at how fast they were, I didn't even have time to open one of their many magazines they supplied inside.
