I was driving down Grand Avenue when out of nowhere my tire blew. I drive a new vehicle with tires that shouldn't have to be replaced. Frustrated with a flat I was able to get the car to the Franklin Park Just Tires where one of the nicest, most patient, understanding, and well spoken employees helped get my 2 rear tires replaced and on my way in a reasonable amount of time and expense. Alan Garcia was wonderful and he also helped me by saving the 5" bolt that was in my tire. I forgot to ask him what caused the flat and he saved it for me to pick up a week later. A BIG thank you goes to Alan for his professional and knowledgeable approach and to his patient and understanding demeanor both when I was on the phone with him after the tire blew, and when he worked with me at the shop. I had an appointment for 12 o'clock to purchase 4 new tires for my vehicle. We went in just before 12 and the guy at the desk was helping someone and said he would be right with us. Another worker came in and first worker mentioned to the other that we were next and had been waiting a while (30 minutes). He proceeded to help 2 other guests before us when we had an appointment and had not even been talked to yet. We ended up walking out. read more

The 3 stars was on one of the technicians giving a wrong quote for brakes on cost next to another technician I called to doing wheel alignment and the time I have to spend waiting. I would not recommend going here if your doing wheel alignment on a later time. I wish they would have told me that directly next to price quote on brakes. Despite coming from Sam's club for new tires I am surprised that Just Tires I usually go to in Norridge, IL said it was still good on the rear brakes a month ago and this place says I am in dire need since I went out for lunch. Despite all the good reviews which include good experiences I have had with this location in the past they dropped the ball. I went in yesterday because my car kept shutting off on me with no indication of what was actually wrong other than when I would brake a little hard, my oil light would flash twice but then it would disappear. Initially I thought it was oil related but when I checked my date of service I received from this location on the last oil change, it said that I wasn't due for an oil change for at least another 700 miles or February 25 which is still a month away. When I went in and explained what was going on they checked the system and even reconfirmed that I shouldn't be due for an oil change anytime soon and assured me there anything I was experiencing was electrical and that they wouldn't be able to help me. Not wanting to risk driving any further for fear of more damage to the car I had my car towed to a body shop where they had determined there was an oil leak. Something I'm reasonably sure just tires would've been able to tell me. Even if it was an electrical problem I was actually still happy to get the oil changed because it was gonna need to get taken care of anyways because they told me it wouldn't do anything and then it wasn't oil related it would be a waste of money. Now instead of spending 50 bucks on an oil change I am now spending $500 to fix the problem. They wouldn't even take a look. read more

It's my second time buying tires from here. I went to the Elmhurst location for my daughter's car in March because of convenience, but I wasn't especially "wowed" with the price or service. They have some flexibility with pricing and for some reason it was never in my favor. If I'm going to be spending $900+ on a set of tires I like coming to Franklin Park because they're nice and competitive with their pricing. They also price match. So I drove in the opposite direction of the Elmhurst location with the lower tax rate to come here. I'm a picky person about my car because of my career in the automotive industry, and everyone is kind and understanding at this location. read more

Got an alignment for my car done here. Paid $110.00 for the one with the 6 month parts and labor warranty. Got the car back after 2 hours of waiting and the steering wheel was crooked. I returned a week later to have them fix it. They did fix it somewhat after waiting 45 minutes this time, but it's still a little off. I would go somewhere else the next time I need to have an alignment done. The car does drive better after the alignment, but the crooked sterting wheel bothers me a bit. Reading online, it's a rookie mistake for someone who doesn't know what they're doing. read more

I've been here three times before to get alignments, balancing and new tires on three different cars. To start off, the staff is very friendly. I talked to Javier, who's usually the guy up front in the morning, and he's a real chill dude. He even offered to discount the balancing for me last time I went because I bought new tires. The quality of service is pretty good as well, at least in terms of alignments and balancing. As I mentioned, I've brought in three different cars to these guys for alignments and balancing, and each time they did a great job getting rid of the problems I had with them (car always pulling in a direction, uneven wear on tires). The one major complaint I have is that wait times can be very inconsistent. The first time I went in for an alignment, they were done within the hour, even with two people changing tires ahead of me. This last time, it took nearly two hours to get the alignment and balancing done even though there was only one guy changing a flat ahead of me. Overall, they're decent. I wouldn't strongly recommend them, but I also wouldn't tell people to avoid them either. You can do better, but you'll still get the job done here. read more

horrible customer service and my experience there was the worst. the manager and the two guys in the front have the most disgusting attitude ever! i took my vehicle there for an oil change they didnt do it correctly caused all oil to spill inside I went back and they were giving me attitude for what they caused i obviously was entitled to a refund not to mention after what they did I had to go to the dealership get an inspection just to make sure no damage was caused to my engine it was a waste of my time and headache thinking damaged was caused from their mistakes. never go there the horrible attitude from the employees says it all about that place read more

Not the best place to go for an oil change. Took almost two hours with one person ahead of myself. Starting coming here out of convenience, but my time is worth more to pay a little more at a place that strictly does oil changes. Obviously a twenty minute oil change is less priority compared to popping on a new tire. Would not recommend unless you want to spend a lot of time hanging out. Staff is very friendly though. Made appointment on line. When making appointment only option you have is 11am being earliest, mind you i believe they open at 8. I been customer for quite sometime, usually explain to them and they accomadate me in earlier. Today i get there at 8:24 am wasnt busy at all, one customer new employee three service techs. New worker at desk tells me that my appt is at 11 and we have 9oclock appt so i will have to wait to see if the 9 shows up. Its 8:24am its only oil change, business stops til 9 oclock customer waltzes in. CRAZY Not good customer service oil change could have been done before 9. DO NOT GO HERE!! A mechanic whom I thought meant well said he would fix up my car when his boss was not there...his name is WILFREDO. He told me which parts to buy and I bought them and thought wow what a good guy....when I went home my father decided that it would be best to take it to his buddy who is a mechanic instead since the mechanic was doing it on the low down and required so much work. I thanked the mechanic very much and told him I would refer him to friends and family. He then said ok and then asked me out to dinner. I politely declined. After my car was fixed( it worked perfect) my fathers friend could not do the alignment so I took it back to Just Tires thinking that they understood my situation thinking they were good-hearted..and they took an hour only to ask me where I took my car, and that they could not perform the alignment because the tire rod was messed up. I had also asked them to change my oil and they said they could not. haha A few days later I went to go eat out and when i was reversing and we heard BOOM. My tire was fucked. Pieces of my car were on the floor. I had to call a tow truck. The next morning the man who originally fixed my car asked my father if I had taken it somewhere to try to get an alignment because they did not properly tie on the parts securely. I just cant imagine if I was on the free way going 70 mph and losing control of the tire. That would have been the end for me. I learned my lesson not to be so naive. Do not trust these shady shady boys. Karma will get you back bitter assholes. read more
