My time was limited and the previous repair shop I tried( Pep Boys) was log jammed with the weekend crowd so I decided to take a chance with this location and came here without an appointment on a Sunday ! I was in and out of this place in 15 minutes. I had a new tire mounted/balanced and had the pleasure of meeting the store manager, Yero Bakharyan, who personally greeted me and completed my check in and check out. Zero rating was not an option. For those of you looking for a reputable place to have your car worked on, I caution you to look else where. I normally don't take the time to review places I spend my money, however, I felt a public need to let you know of my experience at this Just Tires on Foothill in Pasadena. For many years I have been a loyal customer. I drive about 30,000 miles a year so I replace my tire every two to three years. I have brought my car here for an 85.00 oil change every 6,000 miles. My last 4 were confirmed on my last visit on 3/14/2021. Valvoline in Rosemead ran a special for 50% off oil change. I decided to take my car there since I was due and it was less than the 85.00 at Just Tires. As the technicians were finishing my car, they informed me that the skid plate was being held on with zip ties. I asked how many bolts were replaced with zip ties: They said all of them. This was news to me. I decided to stop in at my local Just Tire Store. I talked with the young man behind the counter. He recognized me since he asked if I was there for an oil change. During our conversation, he confirmed that my last 4 oil changes were done at the store. I asked him if there was ever a reason they would use zip ties to secure my skid plate and he said, "If I came in with zip ties, they would put zip ties back on." I asked why they did not tell me zip ties were being used. They had 4 chances to tell me that I needed to replace the bolts that they substituted zip for. The gist of the story is, they lost the bolts, or felt it would be faster to change my oil next time but cutting off the zip ties. The manager's solution was for me to go buy the bolts and they would put them on. Unfortunately for him, he was unable to realize that I will never let him, nor any other of his technician, touch my car. If you are considering using Just Tires on Foothill Blvd in Pasadena to service your car, I suggest you look else where. read more

I brought my car today February 27, 2017 because I had a flat tire. I was using only the spare tire. The staff put some air on the leat tire and check if there was a nail. We haven't found one. So, they did another test by putting the tire in the water to check if there is bubbling coming out which means it was leaking. But still after 10 mins of manually checking the tire, they haven't found any leak. Still 50 psi. I asked them to just put it back on. I went inside to inquire if how much was the charge. The guy in the cashier said, "You're good to go." I thanked him for the free service and I also thank the two guys big time who inspected the tire. I was impressed with the professionalism and the quality of service they are providing to their customers. Definitely, I will recommend this place to my friends. I don't understand why others have given this great tire shop low marks. I have been a customer of Just Tires for over 10 years, 2 of them here in Pasadena where I live about 5 miles up the road. The staff are very knowledgeable and my go to guy is Hovik. He takes care of me because I go to them for all 3 vehicles I bring in for tires, lifetime balancing and great prices. They do their best for price matching and make it up for the service. Don't worry about the posting of prices - there has been a huge increase in consumer goods prices if that person kept up with the economy.... I have gone in at least 4 times for various issues and they took care of it no charge - as a courtesy for my loyalty. Stay loyal to them and they will take care of you many times. read more

Came in for a simple wheel balancing, I was the only customer, 4 guys sitting around... took 40 minutes just to tell me "one tire was deteriorating from the inside and I needed 4 new tires... Needed to get two front tires for my wife's car and our next three weekends were booked. Fortunately, I remembered coming here years ago and they were one of the few tire places open Sunday. I called to see if they would be able accommodate us and they said no problem. As soon as we pulled up, the person I talked to, Robert, came out to greet us and took a look at the tires. No hard sell, quoted us two reasonably priced tires and for an alignment since it was obviously that there was uneven wear. Within two hours, we we're all good. Pretty good for a Sunday afternoon. This is the worst Just Tires business that I have to. I love the service, the guarantees and their products. But this office sucks!!!! I I was there twice. The first time I was there the guy totally ignored me and did he did not have time because it was 30 minutes to closing. The second time, all the mechanics were gathered together chatting. There were no cars to be worked on! There were two people in the counter. One was busy and the other guy never once tried to help. I waited 20 minutes then left. Customer service was nonexistent. I set an appointment up on Saturday. They called on Sunday and said they do not deliver tires on Sunday so my appointment was canceled. I asked to reschedule an appointment and I was told appointments are not honored you will have to wait, first come first serve. I'm here right now and I got here at 7:56am. The person helping is not very helpful. My tire was going flat due to a nail and they found another nail In another tire . I don't remember what the procedure is to be done so when I went inside to let the guy know what happened he was silent the whole time and told me he needed keys to my car. There was No Hi or good morning nothing lol smh. I gave him the keys and I walked out with him (silent). I asked Zachary multiple times to check the warranty on all my tires. I stood in front of him as he checked and he reinsure me all 4 of my tires were covered under warranty. He told me to sign on the computer with the little stick. I asked him "what am I signing? He also told me to leave my car for the day. After he asked me to sign some paperwork. I signed and I said so, should I call for a ride or wait? He then said "Just wait". I sat down I used to like coming here but I think it is time to find a new Tire location. I remember having issues before with men here and their unfriendliness and it makes me really feel Like I am going to get taken advantage of with my service because I don't know. I texted a friend immediately to ask him if I can call if I have questions to make sure things sounds right so I don't be taken advantage of. I waited an hour for Zachary to tell me they recommended me to get some air filter changed cabin filter etc...and because he told me all four of my tires were covered I agreed to let them change it. After, telling him to go ahead and proceed Zachary then runs out to tell the guys to "Stop" because her tires are not covered. He gave me false information after I repeatedly asked him in the beginning and even repeated what he said and he told me it was covered the same thing was done to my mother on Tuesday when she brought her tire in July 5 for a flat as well. Frustrated and angry as I'm seeing people coming going. . I have no word ls after today's experience. He did apologize but He needs ALOT of training. So much went down after I wrote this first part of the message. All I have to say is I had to get my uncle involved and I didn't get out until 10:53am. Zachary looked to his coworker to help him speak for him to my uncle on the phone and explain what happened. His co worker caught off guard did very well explaining what he could see what happened. But, I do thank him for taking charge and even double checking Zachary's work after all this. I'm tired and I'm Done! My only problem was Zachary! Even after doing the paperwork to release my car he was asking me once again to sign some paperwork and I had to ask him what am I signing?I'm drained after this! I no problems happen in life but it's frustrating because my mother went through the same thing on Wednesday after being told her tire was covered under warranty. She was told she was covered after coming in first thing in the morning as well and having to wait 3 hours to be told hours later she wasn't covered after all and then paid $260 for a new tire. Super friendly, efficient, helpful, and fairly priced. Two great experiences with Just Tires (on Foothill) over the past couple weeks. Both involved installing and mounting tires purchased from Tire Rack (they aren't a Tire Rack partner installer so you cannot have your tires shipped directly them) as well as assistance with removing a damaged tire/wheel and mounting the spare. From start to finish, all employees were friendly, efficient, and caring (since I care greatly about how my car is handled) and having a bad experience 2 years ago at a well known Pasadena auto and tire shop. I love these guys they are so good! I got four Goodyear comfort Tred Assurance tires from them for my CTS. They were supposed to be $159.99 each but after a sale and a $100 off coupon I got all four for just $535 including tax and installation. They have a 80,000 mile warranty so you know these are good tires. The installation was pretty fast and the car runs nice and smooth. They even did a free alignment check for me. They also let you do a free tire rotation and wheel balancing every 6 months or 6,000 miles as long as you own the tires which is pretty cool. They also check your tire pressure for free anytime so I come in once a month or two to get that checked up. Driving with low tire pressure will lower gas mileage and also cause premature wear on your tires. The only bad thing is this is a Goodyear company so only the Goodyear Kelly and Dunlop tires are plentiful and cheap. So if you are want another tire brand probably not the best place to buy. Also it seems better for American cars ... looked up tires for my guys accord and the options weren't that great. read more

Honesty just made a customer for life. I took my car in today because I was experiencing squeeking when coming to a stop. I thought it was my brakes. Juan helped me out and they did an inspection and checked the fluids on my car. It turns out the brakes are good and just have to be broken in more. Rather than just change the brakes and charge me, Juan was truthful and explained the issue and advised that it would resolve itself. As a female, it's hard to trust mechanics. Juan was able to give me peace of mind and a place I could trust. No charge for today, but I will definitely be back when it is time to replace. read more

I went to this location because I needed one new tire. When I walked in the sales person Juan Gonzalez was sitting in the office playing on his cell phone and kept telling me to hold on one minute. One minute turned into 15 minutes. After he finally came out I told him what I needed and he finally took care of it. After they finished installing my new tire they came out with their inspection report saying I needed 3 more new tires, when I told him I just bought 4 new tires 3 months ago from the Just Tires in Alhambra he started to back pedal saying of let's re measure the tires again. He went out for 10 or 15 minutes and said you are right the other tires are ok you do not need 3 more new tires. Never once did he apologize or anything else. Here is the best part, they pulled a bait and switch. I was told I was getting a Cooper brand tire and I said ok great, later when I got home and looked closer at the tire, they actually put some no name tire on. The brand name of this tire was Solarus, I never heard of this brand of tires. I paid for one brand of tires and they put something totally different on. I will be disputing this with my bank!! This location is very dishonest and are liars!! Stay very far away from this place!!!!!! Also they changed me for a TPMS, funny thing is the old one is still on the car. They charge you for new parts that they do not put on. This location is fully of thieves!! I contacted the state of California BAR and filed a complaint with them too. I'm reviewing the sales manager at: Just Tires at 2480 East Foothill Blvd Suite B, Pasadena, CA. A while back, I bought a set of tires from you. Unbeknownst to you then, you lost my business that for good that day. It is time to buy a set of 4 tires for our other car and get a 4-wheel alignment. The day I bought tires from you, you high-pressured me twice to "get an alignment from you". You charge for a perfect, 4-wheel alignment, but do the bare-assed minimum on just the front wheels. Just as I was ready to get into my car and drive off, you shouted "brakes" at me, "new brakes". I already have new brakes, with none of the cheap-after-market parts you charge top-dollar for. I have new, OEM brakes, which you wanted to throw in the trash and replace with your stick-it-to-them prices. So, this week I'm buying four high-end tires, elsewhere and getting a four-wheel-alignment from somebody who does a thorough job. read more

Usually when i go to a shop it's a mess, employees don't give you the time of day they just try to sell. I actually felt like they wanted to do their best to meet my needs. You could feel the respect and see that they work as a team. The employee in the front, Tony (i think his name was) was sooo nice, respectful, and helpful. I hate horrible service and this place was FARRR from. From the front desk employees, to the manager, to even the techs that answered any question i had as i was being annoying and watching over them. Ok, so to understand why this place gets one star - and believe me, that is WAAAAYYY to generous - you have to have the back story. This place is relatively close to my house, and for the few times I've repaired or purchased tires here in the past, I received decent service and a good deal that didn't break the bank. So, I took all of that into account when I discovered a slow leak in one of my tires and I rolled on over one Sunday afternoon to have it patched. I walked up to the counter, explained that I had a slow leak, and asked if it could be repaired while I waited. The guy behind the counter asked me if I'd been there before to which I replied "yes." He said, "Are you sure you came here? I can't find you in the computer. Maybe you went someplace else." Ummm. No. But maybe I should have. So he takes my info, prints out a work order and has me sign it, and tells me it's gonna be about 45 minutes. "45 minutes?" The sucka actually SMIRKED at me as he looked at the crew of guys standing around in the service bay and said, "There are cars ahead of you," or something snarky like that. There was one car in the parking lot, and one on a lift. And no one was working on that one, either! I would have left right then and there, but I'd been filling my tire every other day for over a week, and this particular day was my only chance to do something about it. Thus I stayed, even against my better judgment. I sat. And I sat. Then the weirdest, most serendipitous thing happened. In walks three young guys and one of them just happens to be my son! His buddy had a slow leak too - what a fortuitous coinky-dink as you will soon see - and of course, my son recommended this place for all the same reasons I quoted above. The guys had spoken with another tire guy outside and went to sit in the waiting area. Then said counter person calls me over. (He wasn't at his post when the kids came in, so he missed the fact that we were somehow connected.) He proceeds to tell me that I have a nail in my tire, that it can't be repaired because "it just wouldn't be safe" and - surprise - I'll need a new one. And of course, we wouldn't want to have mis-matched tires, so at the very least I should get two, so that they will wear evenly. My car was less than a year old at the time, and I believed the tire was still under warranty so I decided to take it up with the dealer - anything to get out of that place. But then I noticed that the other employee was having the exact same conversation with my son's buddy - they couldn't patch his tire either, for the exact same reason! And his tires - and car - was newer than mine! Counter-boy still didn't know that the tall, handsome, dreadlocked guy approaching the counter has sensed that his momma wasn't happy, and something wasn't right - not with me or his buddy. I turn to counter boy as my son hugs me, smiles brightly and says, "HI MOM!" I say, "Now would you repeat what you just said about my tire to my son? And while you're at it, maybe you could explain it to his friend over there, too." Counter boy backpedaled so fast it was comical. He started saying things like, "I'm just trying to keep your mom safe." "No one else is going to be able to repair this either." And finally, "I'm not trying to sell you anything you don't need. You can take it to you're dealer, but you'll be back." It would be nearly a week (and several quarters for air) before I made it to another tire store - one just west of this place by a few hundred yards or so. They patched the tire AND guaranteed the repair! The BEST part about this saga? The telemarketing call that came a few nights later! "We're just calling to follow up on your recent visit to our Just Tires store in Pasadena," the telemarketer said. "Do you have a few minutes?" *licking my lips* "Sure!" Let's just say it was a great conversation! read more

All I can say is, thank you Tony for saving my butt. I came here twice to get my tires changed; first time, because I REALLY needed to get them, as I was on the brink of getting into a serious accident driving on bald tires in the rain. The second time, I learned my lesson and changed them right before the first winter rain of 2016. Funny thing, the guy who changed my tires asked me if I was doing Uber or something, because I ran them tires down, considering it was about 16 months. Beyond that, the guy told me with the new tires I was purchasing, I would get a $60 rebate, all four tires protected and a free axle alignment before my six months mark in April. He also suggested to check the pressure every month, and to have them rotated every three months. Honestly, even though I don't seem like a n00b with cars, I am, so I did appreciate the advice. During the recent rain storm, I drove home and heard an air leaking sound, only to find out that my front tire had some metal piece in it. Instead of trying to risk taking it out or waiting until the next day, I called up the La Canada branch, and they said it's best to go back to where you bought your tires. I called up Tony, he said that I could have gone a closer one, told him that the La Canada person told me, and he was more than willing to help me out. Got there, he asked one of his guys to get my car in to see the damage, and to wait about 20-30 minutes. Cool beans, went for a walk in the rain and came back. Tony mentioned that because the metal piece was deep, my tire would have to be replaced, and thankfully I had my tire protection, so it ended costing me $40. Even though this branch is a bit out of the way for me, after my experience with Tony, I will be coming back here to get tires here. Outstanding customer service trumps cheap prices any day. This place has horrible service. The overweight guy in the front is lazy, and he should find another job. I went in to get a tire serviced, and this individual clearly didn't want to be there. He gave me a bad attitude, and after it was all said and done he explained that he couldn't help me. All I needed was a simple tire fix. I wouldn't recommend anyone go here. The degenerate at the counter will find every excuse not to help you. It's a tire shop, so you would expect them to be able to fix a tire quickly with no problems. I had a nail in my tire. I just wanted to give prospective customers a heads up that it appears they have inflated their prices recently and started to nickel and dime customers. I've gone here twice to get the exact same set of OEM tires replaced on my car and this time it cost $55 more than last time. I have my two invoices in front of me and can clearly see where they are tacking on extra costs. They have: -Tripled their disposal fee -Doubled their wheel balancing fee -Doubled their valve stem price Probably trying to counter the economic downturn and lack of customers. The service was fairly quick and the employees were nice, which is cool, but honestly I don't care if the service is friendly if they're fleecing me on the way out the door. Because of the friendliness and amazing service, I bought tires from these guys (yup, still all guys) this past December. I didn't like the warranty / tread combo on the tires they had in stock so they ordered some in for me. And they gave me a discount as good or better than that which you'll get at Costco. A little while after my tires were put on I (OK, a Pasadena cop) noticed I had a brake light out so I went to the store, bought a new bulb, and quickly realized I'd managed to misplace the hex head screwdriver I need to open my light cover. I stopped in at Just Tires to borrow a screwdriver and instead they changed the light for me. Free. Please, folks, support the guys at this location. And bring them cookies. After few days it started to make a weird sound and i didn't know where it was coming from..I took it to dealer and they gave me a diagnostic of "WRONG SIZE" of break installed and "AFTER MARKET".
