I have a shetland sheepdog, which is typically a long-haired breed, but I keep him short so there's less furballs at home. She has always been open to hearing what kind of cut I've wanted for my dog, and always cuts him perfectly. She is kind, caring, and professional. They muzzled my cat even though she wasn't biting or acting aggressively, which I assume may have been part of that extra charge. The trimming itself felt rushed, they were taking off larger chunks instead of going slowly and carefully. There's a grooming shop in Montalvo that charges around $15 per animal and takes the extra step to grind the nails after trimming, which I really appreciate. I'll probably stick with them moving forward. That said, the staff were nice! I just wish the service matched the price a bit better.

I reached out well in advance and we both agreed that on a particular day, this company would schedule us after 10 am and then they send me an arrival time that's earlier than 10 am...and then when I remind them of our agreement, literally any time after 10, I get a response saying this isn't going to work when I confirmed TWICE that they would. Elaine is amazing…read more Picture this - it's a beautiful sunny California day and all of a sudden you hear blood curdling screams...is that someone being tortured??? Do I call the police??? Nope. It's my dog getting a bath. ‍ I will start out by saying - my dog is a small mix and has had a pretty rough past before we adopted her. She screams bloody murder if you get water near her. Nail trimmings? Forget about it. Hair cut? Good luck. I was taking her to PETCO to get groomed however they cancelled on me at least 5 times to the point that it had been months that she had been groomed. Luckily we found Elaine's mobile grooming business and she came right to us. Elaine was funny, personable and took her time with little Foxy. Of course that didn't keep Foxy from showing her displeasure by yodeling through the neighborhood and pooping on poor Elaine, but Elaine was patient and did a wonderful job with Foxy. I will definitely be contacting Elaine again - hopefully she doesn't hold the poo bomb against me
