She also had a nurse practitioner student with her and made sure to introduce me to her and explained that she would be observing this technique. I felt completely comfortable. It was too good to be true. They make you think that you are getting an amazing deal. I have been coming here periodically for 4 years. Earlier this year, I became a Juvly "member". Basically the membership is for $1200 per year, you get a "free" spa service every month. They are mediocre if anything. I've had a 15 minute facial, had to pay an extra $50 for a peel, and horrible dermalplanes. They claim you can get fillers and wrinkle relaxers at a lower price, but if you do the math, it's better to save the $99 a month and pay the extra dollar per injection. Today was the third time that I've had difficulties with their online reservation system. I had a last minute sitter today. I made an appointment to come in at 11:30 at 10:58 this morning. As I was walking in at 11:25, I received a text from them canceling my appointment! The clueless lady at the desk was kind enough to offer for me to "stick around for their next opening at 2:20" Beyond frustrating experience with this place since I joined their membership. I was not happy with my experience with Dr. Harper. Botox cause drooping on one of my eyebrows, but luckily it didn't last long. When I was looking into it with friends, I found out that he never actually completed a residency and lies about his credentials on his website. In fact, he was kicked out of OSU and never finished any training program in plastic surgery or dermatology. When I had Botox somewhere else, it lasted 4-5 months. His lasted 2. I asked my actual dermatologist about it and why his prices are so low. She said it may be because he dilutes the botox more and you aren't actually getting the number of units he says you are. After booking and providing my credit card information to pay for my service (a $1400 procedure) I noticed the charge still had not posted to my CC. I called to see why the charge didn't go through and apparently they never actually booked the appointment, even though i had spent 30+ minutes on the phone with the receptionist. They then told me I would require another consultation even though I had already had one at a previous appointment. The gentleman i was now on the phone with said he would see if we could bypass the consult. When he called me back he told me he got permission to schedule but my original appointment day/time was no longer available and it would have to be with the woman who did the initial consult with me. He then let me know i would have to wait an additional 2 weeks from my original appointment date before she was available. It should not 4 separate calls and an hour of my time to schedule. My tech was very nice and professional on my first visit but they need to get their back office in order. read more

I've been to Juvly twice now and have had the pleasure of working with Lauren both times--but the entire front office and medical staff are professional, knowledgeable, and so nice. I've had a facial and skin consultation with Lauren and both times were wonderful. The medi-spa is not a relaxing environment for a facial but the products used is high-end and kept my skin hydrated ahead of a 16-hour international flight. During the skincare consultation, I love that there's no product peddling, but they offer great recommendations and encourage patients to do their own internet research also. I have recently decided to no longer visit this office. In June I purchased two $80 bottles of sunscreen. When I got them I noticed a label that said Staff use only not for resale. I pointed this out to the receptionist and she said it was fine. I thought nothing of it. After getting home I noticed the sunscreen expired in 3 months. I contacted the office and asked for an exchange and was told that its not considered expiring unless its 30 days. Any sunscreen I have bought from CAPS or other offices I have at least a year if not two before they expire. I pointed out its not realistic for someone to use two full bottles of sunscreen in three months and that it had a label saying not for sale on it anyway, and was dismissed and told basically suck it up. After this I will no longer purchase or recommend anyone purchase products from this office. As not only did they sell me products they received for free but sold me old ones at that! I also want to point out I waited a couple months to post this so I didn't do anything out of anger!. read more

I've always been self conscious of my hereditary under eye circles. As a medical professional, and a viewer of Botched, I was very hesitant to make a decision when it came to letting someone inject my face. I actually heard of Juvly through a colleague and began looking into the services they offered. I repeatedly read great reviews about a Physician Assistant - Michelle Porter. I saw examples of her work on their website and even more examples on Juvly's Instagram. I noticed how well she worked with the under-eye/cheek area on other clients. A few weeks ago, I finally decided to make the plunge and scheduled an appointment with Michelle. The assessment appointment was great. Michelle has such a kind spirit (and is absolutely hilarious). She thoroughly talked through the procedures I was interested in, answered all of my questions, and I never felt pressured to purchase more product/services. The procedure appointment was also great. I work in anesthesia so my biggest concern (as is everyone else's, I'm sure) was pain. Michelle applied topical anesthetic to the areas (under-eyes, cheeks, lips) and allowed enough time for the agent to work its magic. She constantly asked about my comfort level and was honest about parts of the procedures that would be more intense. I also brought my friend with me which was so nice to be able to do! Most importantly - I love my results. Michelle is truly an expert and an artist. She respects your natural features and knows how to make you a better version of yourself. I made an appointment for a consultation as I have had some discoloration on my upper lip show up since I've had my first baby. The woman that scheduled my appointment repeated a few times that there would be a $50 charge if I didn't show up to my appointment. So when my appointment came I was sure to arrive on time. I was greeted and placed in a room. I waited over 30 min for someone to come in and consult before I gave up and left. Keep in mind this was my first aesthetic type of appointment so I was extremely nervous. Although I had booked my appointment hoping that some filler would resolve my issue, Liz provided me with input that let me know that mere filler would not meet my expectations. (Microneedling sessions THEN filler later this year) But, aside from the more effective plan she presented, I was most impressed by her ethical approach to treatment. I visited Juvly Aesthetics for the first time after purchasing a Groupon for laser hair removal. I wasn't sure what to expect, but Liz put me at ease immediately. After the first treatment I saw a noticeable improvement. The second treatment was even better. I was apprehensive about the pain, but it was minimal. While the process itself is a bit awkward, I never felt uncomfortable. I think my skin is in pretty good shape, but I would definitely look to Juvly for other treatments as well. read more

I traveled to Columbus to visit friends and got a weird rash on my arms while there. Tried to go to several dermatologists, all of them either had no availability or couldn't tell me what I had. Dr. Harper after just examining me for a few minutes was able to tell me what was causing my allergy (a new body wash I began using) and he told me which over the counter medicine I could start taking right away to get rid of the rash.
