Their is a lack of professionalism and reliability on the part of JWR Sprinklers. You will only deal with John who does not have the ability to prioritize communication and responsiveness to ensure customer satisfaction and maintain a positive reputation. I strongly recommend that you do not choose this company and find another more reliable service for sprinkler repair services. I plan to take this case to the BBB and I will warn other homeowners in my HOA forum so that no one else has to deal with such terrible service. I called JWR Sprinklers and spoke to John about water filling up in the valve control box and adjusting sprinkler heads. The work was done on 6.25.24. After a week, the valves are leaking again. I have called John, left voicmail and text messages with no response after a week and than John eventually responds by text stating he would come out but than 1 day before the work was to be performed, John cancelled stating it was going to rain. After the rain, I have called, left voicemail and text messages for almost 3 weeks with no response. At this point, I'm done. Good luck if you choose to deal with this!! read more

I cannot express how much I recommend you do not use this company. I hired them to come out and service my sprinkler system because there was a broken pipe. They fixed the broken pipe and replaced a couple sprinkler heads. I paid them when they assured me that the system was fine. I went on vacation with my family the next day and a few days into it my neighbor called and said my sprinklers have been running Non-Stop since I left. I had him go into the control panel and turn the system off however that didn't work and the sprinklers kept going. The only remedy was turning the water off to the system completely. I called this company and explain to them this problem and they (John) said they will come out and fix it. However they never showed up and when I called again they said they suspect I have dirt in my pipes and they will have to charge me again. John was not the repairman. I asked why his employee didn't identify dirt in the pipes when they originally were out here and John said that it's a common error and for them to fix it I would have to agree to pay them again before he sent someone out. I will end up having to go with a more reputable company and spend more money. DONT USE THEM!!!! read more

I request services from this company and sent the payment upfront for the amount of $240. He was supposed to turn on and turn off my sprinkler system. After calling several times , they never answered the call and failed to show up after receiving confirmation. Scheduled service 2 weeks in advance and was told between 10am and Noon, would get a confirmation a day prior. Day of service at 9:45am not having heard from them I called and was told service was scheduled for 2pm to 4 pm. its now 5:05 pm no show. Very unreliable, not recommended. read more

Scheduled an appointment beforehand for JWR to winterize our sprinkler system today, pretty simple ask. At this point they're almost 3 hours late, and have yet to call back after leaving messages. I usually don't write negative reviews as I understand that running a business can be difficult at times. I even gave this business a 5 star rating when they installed my Sprinkler system last year. However, after experiencing an issue , John failed to show up on the day he scheduled and started ignoring my text, phone calls, and emails for almost a month now. I tried everything I could to reach him, even entering a message in his website. I cannot reach this business at all. His phone goes directly to a Voice Mail that is full and you will not be able to enter any messages. Failure to respond and ghosting customers is a theme from many of the reviews of this business. My system is not even 10 months old and now I have to find a more reliable contractor to fix it. So his 5-year warranty is complete Fraud. I am filing a consumer complaint and report this business. Read all the negative reviews of this business before deciding to hire this service. The RED FLAGS are real. JWR is the best. They were able to repair a sprinkler problem within hours of calling them. They found 2 other problems and fixed them same-day so I didn't get another leak. Called them back to add sprinklers to my backyard and they were professional, fast and reasonably priced. Did a good job installing my sprinkler system for a fair price. But the process to arrange the install was very difficult. Voicemail is constantly full and never returned phone calls. Expect to have to chase John. Needed some emergency work on my system and they never returned my calls despite me making multiple attempts via phone, text, and email. Won't even acknowledge my need, provide an explanation of their situation, and work out a time to support me. Basically, JWR was rude and stood me up even though I was a customer. i needed a sump pump replaced and .and the gutter drainage away from the house. i called JWR and John scheduled a time that suited both of us for a free estimate visit. On his arrival, he spent time talking with me to learn about my problem and offered solutions. his years of experience and knowledge was apparent. a couple weeks later. I was extremely grateful for JWR's ability to assess my sprinklers within a short timeframe. I had two other sprinkler companies delay the assessment for almost two weeks. JWR had my system running the same day I called them and returned on a "SUNDAY" to complete the repairs in time to save my lawn and without me delaying my departure for vacation. I called several top-rated irrigation companies on a Friday afternoon after discovering the main water line to my sprinkler system had broken somewhere and was flooding my front garden. It wasn't an emergency, but I wanted it fixed quickly, hopefully without needing to be home during the week. JWR was the only company who offered to come out the very next day (a Saturday) to diagnose and repair. John called in advance to let me know when he would arrive, which was very close to the time he estimated the day before. He dug down into the garden until he found the cracked pipe, repaired it, and carefully checked to ensure the repair was leak free. He also replaced my non-functional rain sensor while he was there (at my request, not an up-sell). The overall price was very reasonable. JWR is now my new irrigation company. Top marks. read more

Did an outstanding job re-routing our system away from large tree roots and improved the system by installing an easily reached inside and outside shutoff valves and a purging fitting. John arrived on time and did a thorough check of the existing system before making recommendations for improvements.
