Only half the staff showed up to work. It would be over 4 hours to pick up my dog. I clearly told them not to shave my dogs crotch. I show up and he is completely shaven with a close razor.now for the past 4 days after my dog is constantly uncomfortable and can hardly walk without stopping and licking. He is in pain. I let them know and they said sorry. They would put that info in his chart. I wont go back. I'm sure the staff was pressured to get as many dogs dogs cut as possible. read more

I took my three babies there for more than 4 years, I sadly had to move but they always did an excellent job, now that I live so far I wish there was a place like this one near me. They love their job because my babies never seem to be stressed out when I took them there. I once took my golden-doodle to a different place because my sister recommended it and it was a mistake I had to wait for her hair to grow back so I can take her here instead and I never made that mistake again. They did a hack job on my Goldendoodle. They shaved her despite specifically asking the groomer to give her a teddy bear face and poodle cut body (short on body, longer in the legs). I know it's only hair and it will grow back, but I won't be returning. Disappointing since they were recommended by 3 different people from the dog park. I was trying to get my dogs in for grooming at another place near by ...after several attempts with no success over the course of weeks I reached out to K9 Clipper &Catamaran on a whim and found them with some flexibility to get both dogs groomed! this business is not only groomed to my dogs, but also gave them great service and nail care... and actually much better job than the competitor. Generally it's difficult to get an appointment right away, but K9 Clipper was able to fit my dog in the next day. I dropped off my Shihtzu/Boston Terrier mix and picked her up a few hours later. They gave her a bath, a nice puppy cut and cut her nails. There were a few long patches near her tail that needed some touch up, which they were happy to do. They groom the dogs in full view so you can watch the dogs (& cats) being cut. Everyone there was friendly. I'm glad they were able to fit us in last minute, and my puppy came out looking very cute. read more

The girls were very sweet and polite with me, but they kept my dog for five hours! I understand that it was the week before Christmas, but they shouldn't have overbooked if they couldn't handle the workload. In all of that time I do not think she was taken out of her cage to go to the bathroom or drink water because when I got her home, she peed like a little racehorse and drank a bowl of water. I got there early to pick her up and she had two people working on her. Neither one of them was talking to her or handling her like she was a live being. My dog is small and she does not have a specific haircut like a special breed. She was just being shaved down. The cut itself was very choppy and uneven. My previous groomer got her in and out in an hour and a half to two hours tops and she had a perfect haircut every time and was treated with care by someone who obviously loved animals. Being left in a cage for so long is just inhumane. Obviously, we will not be returning . read more

Choose a different groomer! To start with I am going to say they were very gentle. That being said I was given back three cats that were badly clipped and not clean all with dirt ears, dirty butts and dirty faces! When We called the business to deal with the situation, they did not offer to re-clip the cats, they did offer to bathe again but not fix the cut. It's got to the point that we asked for a refund or a partial refund, she complained that she worked hard (I'm not her parent and I don't need to give her a sticky star for trying as the job I paid for was NOT done). Then she refused to do anything To complete the job and suggested we "part ways". If you want a good groomer do not go there! Find someone that knows how to properly clean your four-legged family member! In the end I have three dirty m, badly cut cats that have to be re-groomed somewhere else, so now I have to pay twice for a job she did not do! She's not as bad as Petco (they cut off my cats nipple) But at least they were willing to pay for the vet bills and groom again or return the money. She's a hard worker and a nice lady but it's not worth having to pay to have the them groomed twice! read more

The one star rating is for the new owner who never introduced herself, never said the place had a new owner and never explained the price increase. I guess she was hoping we would not notice things had changed. "Everything the same" she says, actually no it was not. But I find it highly unprofessional to not even discuss the change when people come in to get their pets groomed. I sought out a groomer like Rick, I don't know this women, I dont know anything about her. Having the financial means to buy a business doesn't make you good at it. DO NOT TAKE YOUR BELOVED PET HERE!!! Brought my little pure bred Long-hair Chihuahua dog in here and was greeted by Rick. He took my dog for about the 4th time now for a full bath, haircut, teeth and ear cleaning, anal glands, and nail trim. This took about 4 hours. Considering it took this long you would think when I picked him up, he would be fully groomed and ready. Well here's what I got... I asked how it went. He said it went great. I asked about his glands and he said he didn't have any information as his bather does that. Red flag #1: he doesn't know about the dogs that leave his business. Red flag #2: His nails were cut, but the grinder definitely wasn't used nor was the clipper to trim the fur around his paws. I confirmed that this visit included that, but when I brought this to Rick's attention he responded with saying the grinder was used but "I guess not enough to your liking." A rude response but after he said the charge was $45, I asked him to please grind his nails down as they were rough and sharp. Red flag #3: Rick took him back to the area where he grooms the animals (which is completely visible from the lobby) by dragging him with a red rope like a noose around his neck. This is the rope only to be used when the dogs are getting groomed on the table as they don't loosen. I began to say something but he then picked him up and put him on the table. Red flag #4: He then took the grinder to his front paws, my dog yelped then he stopped. He then took the clippers and trimmed the hair on his paws. This is when I said, "Clearly you did not grind the nails since you are just now trimming the hair, which should've been done before." Believe it or not, this is when the story gets really messed up. Red flag #5: Rick continued to hold my dog in a head lock as he cried and continued to grind his back paws. Now I understand the difference between a cry of fear and a cry of pain. This was the latter. I said, "That's enough. Bring him to me." Red flag #6: I asked for a 3 clipper all around and to to trim the hair behind his ears and about an inch off his tail. Look at the picture to see the horrible work that was done. And the worst part is, since my dog came home I touched his tail and he cried out. If something happened, even by accident, I should've been told about it. I picked up my dog, I PAID THE FULL $45 (when I should've just walked out) and I said to Rick how disappointed I was in the level of service from him not knowing any information about my dog, lying about grinding his nails and most importantly the way he treated my dog. Then he said, "well your dog is difficult." So, he was great, but now he's difficult? Unreal. Rick, you should not think you would be able to get away with treating animals this way. You have a transparent organization since you made it able for customers to view you as you groom their pets. Transparency means you can't lie and get away with it. I caught you yesterday and you tried to back pedal out of it. Well, here's me making sure you don't mistreat anyone else's animals. In an age of social media prevalence, where the consumer has the power to post to other consumers, you should be more careful about how you treat your customers (and by customers I mean the beloved pets that people entrust with your care). Time to retire Rick. read more
