I got a gel pedicure and gel color on my nails on 8/2 because I was going to a marriage retreat on 8/6. On 8/6 the first nail, my pointer finger, chipped off, at the retreat! So embarrassing. Today is 8/14 and this is how my nails look after only 12 days. The nail tech was very nice, but clearly the gel she used was cheap! When I get my nails done at Tully's they last me almost a month and the gel Never chips. I only went there because they were open that Sunday and I wasn't going to have time before the retreat. I didn't like the service today. I usually come all the time there's a few times they would do my nail cricket, and on top of that they would tip themselves. My total was 50 but I gave them 60 today and I was planning on tipping her, but she kept another five and gave me a five dollar back she owed me 10 instead of me giving her the tip. She took five from me. I used to love coming here all the time, but this happened twice already when they take the tip for themselves without Letting me give them the tip. This was the last straw and I will not go back to this place again. So be careful when you pay them pay attention and another thing I noticed as they do rush through your nails because they want to get to the next person which is not right. Don't bother making an appointment. We had an appointment today at 9 AM. The shop didn't open until 930. I have something to do by 10 so when I got there, I told the owner to just do my manicure and not a pedicure. The owner gets upset with me because she said that she booked appointments for a reason. She got there 30 minutes late. Didn't start working on my hands until about 9:40 then she tried to charge me a cancellation fee. If she would've got there on time I would've done everything. The nail technician was great. Went for the luxury pedicure. I told her I was diabetic so she wouldn't use the drill, and she was fine with my request. The problem I had was cleanliness and class. The lady running the place was using a tool on a customer walked over to the autoclave, opened it up through the tool in and pulled out another one. So what's in there- clean or dirty tools? And I asked if I could bring in my own tools to prevent infection and she said no. they also raised the price from $40-$43. Then when I tip my tech $10 the owner takes the money, pocketed half, and gave my tech only $5. That money was NOT for the lady who rang me up. I don't think my tech was aware of it. DONT BOTHER MAKING APPOINTMENT I called yesterday (Saturday ) and the lady said she was full so she made me an appt for sunday at 11am . Sunday came and I received a call at 9:17 am , I called back at 9:18am and it didn't ring just said "enter your code" as if the place was closed . I googled hours and Sundays they open at 10am so how was I supposed to call her right back? Anywho , as everyone else , I also have a life so I made sacrifices to make sure I was at my 11am appt , I have kids and dogs to walk to I rushed my morning errands and made it to my appt on time. I arrived at 11am and she said "I called you to confirm you didn't answer" I showed her my call log and told you I called you and you don't open til 10 so it didn't answer but what's the issue do I not have my appointment ? She said "well you didn't answer so now there's a wait time of 40 mins" , normally I don't even go back and forth with employees let alone with others present because it's just not proper etiquette, but she was telling me this while she was doing someone else's nails and in front of everyone so I followed along because I was highly upset that all the sacrifices and accommodations I made this morning to be here were now disregarded because I didn't answer her 9am call that I couldn't even call back to because the place was closed . At this point I explained to her this wasn't my fault and I will take my business elsewhere. I believe everyone deserves a second chance. So I did give this chance to this place' despite of my first unpleasant experience (made my whole fingers bleed because of the lady who was not nail technician, glued acrylic nail to my skin and the time myself was handed over to other technician, it found out the mistake and remove the glue which hurt all the skin). This time service was very simple, I just wanted to remove my acrylic nails. The lady who took care of me did not speak English so she used her body language by tapping her fingers to table, and to my opinion that's not polite. The way she removed also incredibly unprofessional, she grinder my acrylic nails till the point it grind my real nail and hit my nerves, that pain until I have to splashed my hand out from her grip. And for some reason I didn't expect her sorry from someone who has no manner. In the end, my nail left brittles and torn. I regret giving this place second chance, honestly! read more

Hello, I am currently in Moreno Valley visiting family. I flew in last week for a family members baby shower and came unprepared. I was in a rush to get "hair done nails done." As I already knew, everybody was busy with their own schedules. I decided to take a Lyft to a nearby nail salon without disclosing to my family members where I left off too. As soon as I walked into the facility (I will respectfully not mention the nail salons name for privacy purposes), one of my family members did call me and asked where I was. Long story short, she told me absolutely not and she was going to book me and now my Mother, elsewhere at 02:00P the very same day. We arrived at K & K Nail Salon a little but early, were seated right away and the services begun. The prices were very fair with the outcome of services and professionalism. The employees here bonded with us as if we were family. This was great. My mother and I got matching Blue colors for the upcoming event. Unfortunately, I broke a nail the very next morning, which so happen to be the day before the baby shower. I was again seeking fast booking services. I walked into K & K Nail Salon and was greeted by Kelly. I explained to her what happened and she sat me down immediately and went to work on repairing the broken nail. As much stress as I was under, Kelly was able to delicate this for me, complete the service and I left feeling great again. I do visit my family members anywhere from 1-2 times a year and guarantee I will be returning to this shop every time. This was my go-to nail salon until this horrible experience ! I myself had gotten previously cut too deep on my toe for my pedicure at this nail salon or even cut but didn't affect me much as it did my daughter. The ladies doing the pedicure will at times cut too much of my skin but I would only be in pain for about one day . Last week on 5/8/2024 I went in with my daughter and she got a pedicure . During her pedicure she told me that the lady has hurt her and I thought that maybe she had a big piece of cuticle and got removed . The next day she told me her toe was hurting , the pain Coby to get worse . Yesterday 5/13/24 she was seen my her doctor and told us she had an infection that she must've got during her pedicure , or that the tools. Used for her pedicure weren't sanitized properly. She's now taking antibiotics due to this issue and in pain not being able to wear closed toe shoes until her infection is completely gone. ! I will not return here again ! read more

So extremely disappointed in this nail salon , I just moved to Moreno Valley and it was the first nail salon I went to and this happened to me! So horrible! I went in on Saturday October 29,2022 around 3pm and the man was already being very rough and digging in my nails clearly with dirty tools . I woke up Sunday with my two big toes looking like this , I was in so much pain , I went to urgent care immediately and they said it was an infection due to the uncleanliness of the salon . Absolutely the WORST service I have ever received. A male did my pedicure. Not sure if he was the owner and if he was he needs to stick to just that. 1. Didn't ask me what service I wanted. 2. He was so focused on what was going on outside that he was filing my skin and not my nails. I told him and he clearly didn't understand. Even got up to look outside. I counted at least times that he was looking outside. 3. I told him I was NOT happy with the color after painting four nails and he continued painting. 4. Messed up the polish twice when putting under the dryer because he was too busy looking outside. 5. If you're seeing this review take this as your indication to NEVER even think about going here. Two separate issues happened last week when I visited both infection control problems. First problem: I was getting a pedicure and the lady doing my pedicure was doing the basic ingrown clipping she decided to have the bright idea to pull my skin towards me which would have never stopped had she kept going and I did vocalize my pain. At this point I'm bleeding she places here hand where I can't see that my toe is visibly bleeding. At this point it came to a nice realization that equipment she was using look like it was already used. She had the bright idea to stick a piece of metal. It look up suitable pusher in the area that was bleeding. I pulled my foot away and she decided to stick her nail in there and try to clean the blood off with some water. No point did you use alcohol. Instead she tried to use a nail solution that makes you stop bleeding. The second I left the facility I went to buy alcohol at the pharmacy store nearby to clean the site. The next two days I was experiencing redness, and pain so I already initially knew it was going to leave infection. The second issue, I took my little sister to get a fill this location and the lady who was performing the fill put her drill on super high, ended up completely drilling through her natural nails and exposing her nail bed. Did not put alcohol again, although she seen what she done. Decided to lay acrylic over it still and tried to act like nothing happened every time she pulled away the lady would aggressively pull her hand back. So don't waste your money your time this location does not care about infection control and I'll debate if I want to take this complain higher because this place is unaware of the harm and transmission they can cause due to their poor practice. read more

Fantastic nail salon! Came in for a pedi on a walk-in and was seated immediately; I came at 9:30 (opening time). Kelly greeted me and Kim did my pedicure. I've never had a better pedicure!!! I opted for the royal treatment which is just around $30 (nobody tried to sell me on upgrades) but Kim took her time with callous remover, and massage was better than any I've had this far. The cooling gel felt amazing and overall my feet look and feel amazing! The swim itself is clean and odor free. Only downside was lack of color selection to my preference but next time I'll bring my favorite colors. Def give this place a try and ask for Kim!!! She was fantastic. read more

I felt swindled after I came out of here! First off, who charges $30 for a basic pedicure? The pedicure also does not come with polish which I have never experienced. Not once have I ever had a pedicure where they didn't include nail polish at the end. Instead, you must get gel polish which is an additional $10. When I arrived this morning I was told they are not using regular nail polish. Its either gel or no service. Gel is 15.00 extra for all services. She said Kim told you on the phone. Kim & Kelly take great pride in their work! I've been having my pedis and nails done here since they opened. I'm happy with their work. Kim is my regular manicurist. She is a sweetheart and meticulous with her work. I've always had quality work. I'm very ticklish and she works with me through the process of scrubbing my feet. She doesn't skip out on me just because it's a process. Color selection is great. I always find what I like or am looking for. Clean establishment. They use liners on the foot spas and clean tools. Kim uses gloves. You'll need an appointment to avoid waiting. They are busy ladies. They do superb work so expect to wait your turn - they don't rush to accommodate others which I appreciate as a paying customer. TIP: cash only! They've had several people receive services and then cancel the credit card transaction leaving them empty handed. That just sucks. Because of a few bad apples, all of us have to carry cash for our nails. I don't blame K&K. I blame the shady people who do this. read more
