Michael, the owner, greeted us and took care of us! We started with the Jumbo Crab Fingers which were really good - I'm honestly not huge on seafood, so I enjoyed these a lot more than I thought I would. Ironically, I'm not big on oysters either, so I ordered the Jumbo Golden Fried Shrimp which hit the spot real good. Large shrimp, well fried, flavored, and the tartar sauce was addicting. The fries that came with it were perfectly seasoned, carrying a bit more of a cajun flavor rather than just regularly salted. My parents definitely enjoy oysters, so they ordered the Charbroiled Oysters and really enjoyed it, as well as the Uni Oyster with Quail Egg. They also got the Cowboy Lobster Shrimp Roll that was gone before I even took a second look their way. We finished the meal with a yummy, dense basque cheesecake! Every customer that came in during our time there was personally greeted by Michael, and it seemed like they were all repeat customers. It was really cool to see that kind of connection, and it really showed how much Michael cares about his customers, and how much we like his food! Indoor seating is a bit limited - all bar stool seating. I rarely comment on the music that a restaurant plays, but I quite liked it! Made me feel like I was on the bay enjoying some fresh seafood at sunset. Heard they'll be opening up their newest location at POST soon!

We ordered: Jumbo crab fingers: huge and good Truffle Parmesan fries: didn't taste any truffle Lobster bisque: good but needed more umami PEI oysters: my favorite oysters, shocked they had them Charbroiled oysters (all three flavors): least liked flavor was the Woodford Chipotle butter Santa Barbara Uni pasta: THICCCC pieces of Uni, pasta had good flavor but it was a tad clumpy

We opted for norikase and it did not disappoint. Each dish was curated perfectly to take advantage of the best ingredients in season. The flavors were refreshing, dellicious, and it was clearly created by someone who understanda flavors. From a mushroom pastry, to handrolls, to nigiri, to the best bite of oyster (it had ice cream infused into the dish!), all the way to foie gras silky smooth egg, this was amazing. Almost as good as the food was the head chef and his staff taking their time to explain and interact with us throughout the night. He is self-trained with an obvious talent. A great night.

Scallop foie gras nigiri is a must try! It's seared, smokey, buttery, and just amazing. I loved the hamachi handroll and also the spicy scallop (can you tell I love scallops). Both were zesty, bright, and refreshing. I also recommend the mango sticky rice cocktail, the foam on top was so good and it sorta tastes like coconut and pandan-y, but a great dessert drink. The staff and service was great, the chefs are very kind and the owner/manager hangs out and is very interactive with the customers! Great atmosphere and definitely worth checking out.

Second, I discovered that they're owned by the same people behind Masraff's. That's a good start. They're located in a shopping center with several other businesses, including a cat vet right next door. While it was busy, I didn't have trouble finding a parking spot. Ambiance (4/5): This is part of where By Popular Demand (BPD) shines. The interior is trendy, with both tabletop seating and more comfortable chairs and sofas. There's a small patio in the front and a larger one on the side. There aren't a ton of seats inside, so think of it as a smaller, more intimate bar. Service (3.5/5): A little slow to start out with as it took our waitress a good while to come and take our order (we were sitting on the front patio). She did apologize for the delay, and she was friendly from there on out, so things improved throughout our evening there. Food (N/A): I had dinner prior so I was on a liquid diet. I have heard they have a pretty awesome steak night on Mondays though. Next time around! Drinks (3.5/5): While they have a full bar, BPD is a cocktail bar. They have 10-12 craft cocktails, plus everything else you would expect at a bar. I went with That Cucumber Drink. I'm always a fan of any cocktail that incorporates cucumber. It was one of the few items on the menu that stood out to me. A decent number of of the offerings are more of your standard cocktails (margaritas, ranch waters, etc.) and a good number have brown liquor (while I prefer clear liquor). Not the best menu for my taste, but that's not to say it's not a solid menu. Next time around, I'll have to stop by for steak night or to try out their food menu.

Huge statues, giant artwork, crazy flooring, and all sorts of cool decorations. Whether you want to get some drinks, eat some rice bowls, sing karaoke, play video games, or dance...this place got you! There's a lot going on all at once but this place does them all right! It's an 18+ establishment and they will card you at the door. The only negative is when we were eating, there were flies flying around. Seems they could keep the place a little cleaner am to avoid this. The food was decent but honestly if you just go to drink and not eat, you won't have to worry about this. We'll be back for my fiancé's birthday as she wants to get a big group all together in a fun, large spot!

It's a rectangle bar with the back area reserved for gaming, the middle section is where the bar is and the front is the karaoke stage. Seating is scattered around the place. You have to go to the desk just inside the door to get a wrist band. This is not a serious place to go to have a drink. Its all about the visuals. The parking lot had a lot of litter and trash thrown on the ground and that pretty much sums up the type of place it is.
