There was soggy pot stickers that seemed like they were sitting in there for who knows how long. The boiled egg was old. The flavoring of it in general was sweet and fishy. Came here on an average Austin day for the milk tea. After looking at their options decided upon the Taro Root Milk Tea with Tapioca. Once ordered, the service was quick and the drink did not disappoint. The flavor was great, the sweetness was just right, and the tapioca provided a nice contrast to the cold drink. I will definitely be back to try the other flavors as well as their menu. The place was clean, the staff was friendly, there are 24 seats and 12 bar stools inside the place, but it would get really tight should the seats be filled as they are close together, this however, would not deter me from coming back. read more

I love this little gem of a place! The staff were so nice and the food was delicious! I had the sunduboo jiggae. Yummy! And I love the seaweed and toasted sesame seed toppings on the fluffy white rice! The nice Korean guy behind the counter even gave me an umbrella when he saw that it had started to downpour and that I didn't bring my own. I don't know how it compares to other Korean restaurants in the area, but overall it wasn't too good an experience. Ordered takeout and everything arrived looking fine. The ramen noodles were a bit soggy, and I won't fault them for that since I know ordering takeout noodles can do that, but the ramen seemed to be the same quality instant noodle you can buy at a grocery store and the soup base was not much better either. I was obsessed with this place right when I walked in. The menu is super simple and filled with delicious meals. My friends and I ordered the 'lunch' box, which had bulgogi, rice, pickled carrots, noodles, egg, crab, and a pack of seaweed!! (MY FAVORITE) I also ordered the green milk tea which was amazing! And their kimchi was pretty bomb too. The place is pretty small, more long than it is wide, but it works. This is a tasty Korean food joint that sells bunsik. Bunsik is any flour-based food along with kimbap rolls and bibimbap (if you know your basic Korean food, you'll understand what I just wrote). This type of food is good to fill you up when you need a good pick me up or when you have a hankering of spicy food after drinking. I got the ddukbokki which came with ramen (in Korean, this would be Labokki). I also got some kimbap rolls to dip into the sauce. Don't question it. That's how you should eat them! I give them 5 stars because it is good for what it is. This is not supposed to be Michelin star food. Don't expect foie gras in your kimbap. read more

Stopped by for a bite on the drive from San Antonio to Dallas. I didn't have very high expectations for this place but I was pleasantly surprised. We got the katsu, ddok bokk kki, and the tuna kimbob. The katsu was crispy with such a flavorful sauce. If you like your fried foods to remain crispy, I would suggest asking for the sauce on the side. The kimbob was massive- definitely a bang for your buck and the ddok bokk ki!!! It was deliciously soupy, which was great for dipping all of our other foods in. Oh and the bubble tea was one of the best I've had. I got the milk tea with boba. The tea was nice and not too sweet and the boba was not too mushy and not too hard. All in all, a great experience. Definitely give this place a try, you will not be disappointed. read more

I'm going to give this place 3 stars because I think they are completely over priced. I guess they can do that because their location is right in west campus. I will say they have some of the beater kimbop in Austin. Their kimchi jigae is okay but not great, especially for the price considering the ingredients for kimchi jigae is cheap! It's better to head up north for Korean food. I didn't have the donkatsu because my order got messed up but I hear that's the better way to go. Will be back to try that. read more

As a taro milk tea enthusiast i ventured myself to find the best taro milk tea in all of west campus. When i had theirs the look was what i had pictured taro tea to exemplify. The purpleness of the drink was very promising but after the taste test comes another story. The drink was extremely taro-ey and there was a slight milk tea, so in other word s the taro overpowered the milk rather than a perfect balance.
