Lunch special - bowl + passion fruit tea for $14.50ish
    Eric G.

Tried this place today for lunch and loved it! Perfect for lunch. Service was quick and it's modern/clean on the inside with a good number of tables. It works sort of like a chipotle or poke place, in that you create a bowl or sandwich. I ordered a bowl with lemongrass pork, house soy sauce and fish sauce. Added coconut rice, pickled onions/carrots, green onions, tomatoes, peanuts. Everything was fresh and the meat was well cooked/flavored. Also loved the passion fruit tea! It was not too sweet and somewhat tarty. They also have vegetarian and vegan options. Overall highly recommended for a fresh, tasty. , and not too pricey meal!

I was pleasantly surprised! Except usual fast casual ambiance with a bit more friendliness from the servers. Got the coconut rice as my base, tofu as my protein with cucumbers, pickled onions, their toppings with spicy mayo and coconut garlic. Elite combination of flavors. A big fan of how everything paired together. I would say portion sizes are more for one meal and you can't stretch it out like chipotle. Anyways I'll find myself back!

Wow! what a beautiful spot! The decor is nice, trendy, and up to date. If you've been in Austin for a while, this used to be where "big bite" was located. Some of my colleagues were raving about how delicious this spot is. I was having lunch with a friend nearby so I went with this option. The pho was delicious but they were out of jalapeños and one other item for it when I came around lunch time. I do feel like those elements were missing from the pho taste. They did have siracha packets so that helped! the star of the show was the fried veggie spring rolls and the passion fruit tea. I honestly wish I would've skipped the pho and just got two order of the spring rolls, it was that good -- and crunchy! now the staff, 10/10! EVERYONE was so nice and went above and beyond. Like even going to the utensils bar (far from the cash register) to pack my utensils while I waiting on my order. Very nice, and when they were out of the items for my pho, they offered other items to replace it. I love visiting places where the food is delicious and the staff are just as good. definitely give Limegreen a try for lunch one day.

Wow!! I can't believe I went here 3 times within the same week...it's that good. It operates just like Chipotle or Cava, but it's for Southeast Asian food. The flavors are just so tasty. The staff and owner are also really friendly. I've yapped for hours here with my friends. It's nice that it's so close to Guad. They have some unique flavors like a chilantro aoili and a coconut sauce -- I get these every time. The value is also really good, I'm paying $12-13 for a really filling dinner that hits my food groups. Can't go wrong getting the coconut rice and chicken.

finally a build your own bowl spot with asian flavors! it definitely suits my tastebuds more than chipotle or cava. i love that they offer half and half bases and proteins, and the portions are really good for the price. the five spice chicken was tender and moist, and the coconut rice was fluffy and super fragrant. all the vegetables tasted fresh, and i really appreciate the unlimited topping options. the coconut garlic sauce was also sooo good and tied everything together perfectly! we also tried the banh mi, which was generously filled and toasted until perfectly crispy. on top of that, the staff were super friendly. overall, such a solid spot for a meal :)

AUTHENTIC AMAZING food and lovely staff!! I was missing authentic food from home and this place was exactly the same. Flavour and portion sizes were perfect and for a very reasonable price too! They also have REALLY GOOD Vietnamese coffee and passion fruit lime tea. The owner is also SO FRIENDLY, make sure to say hi! Limegreen brought me back to my home. I HIGHLY recommend. You can tell they pay attention to quality, freshness and cleanliness too. I recommend the combination: rice noodles, five spice chicken, house fish sauce, mixed green, carrot, cucumber, peanuts, fried onion+garlic, lime, green onions, onions. ALSO: Rice noodles, chilli honey chicken + steak, crispy onion+garlic, green onions, mixed greens, spicy mayo+sweet tangy sauce. I would rate this place a TEN/TEN.

Not a bad healthy option with a decent price. They said it's like chipotle, but better. It was not better, but just as good.

The Birds Nest is made with fried potato shreds which contain the a variety of vegetables including cauliflower, peppers, mushrooms and asparagus. The nest is also edible and has a crunchy texture. The place reminded me of Ling Wu in the Grove area because the decor looked similar. Maybe they are owned by the same people? Firstly, I was impressed with the fact they had a FREE parking garage nearby since this is in the downtown area and next to Whole Foods. It took me a bit to find it as I'm directionally challenged, but I did and was just running a bit late. We really enjoyed the food and cocktails. I got the Singaporean noodles, a mezcal drink, and a sake. The serving size was big so I had plenty to take home. We shared many of the other dumplings and dim sum items. Everything was very good! The place wasn't too crowded so after we paid our bill we sat around for a while longer to chat and catch up. Usually someone would come by to see if we needed or wanted anything further, but no one did so we kept chatting and left. I'm happy to know of a central location with easy parking as a future place to meet people. I wish they had a happy hour because the bill for 3 of us was unexpectedly higher than usual.

My boyfriend and I came here because of the great reviews, but unfortunately our visit was nothing like we expected. From the moment we walked in, the experience was disappointing. The host literally pointed to our table instead of walking us to it, which immediately felt unwelcoming. No one introduced themselves or even told us who our server was, so we never knew anyone's name throughout the entire meal. Throughout our meal, no one checked on us even once, and we had to flag our waiter down multiple times whenever we needed something. Plates and drinks were also repeatedly slammed down on the table, which came across as rude and unprofessional. Every interaction felt rushed, and the staff acted like they were annoyed we were there. The customer service was awful, and it made for a really unpleasant first experience. Unfortunately, we won't be coming back.

Someone recently asked me where my favorite steak was, and I struggled to come up with an answer. Not anymore. It's here. We tried several dishes, and almost everything was a total hit. The only thing I might skip next time is the taiyaki cornbread, maybe. Let's start with the absolute standout: the wagyu short rib skewer. It's sous vide for 48 hours, and I am not exaggerating when I say it was the best meat I have ever had. Ever. If you only order one thing, make it that. Now, let's keep going because it's all great stuff and you need to know what to order. Second place is the chili cheese takoyaki. Don't overthink it, just order it and thank me later. The Hot Pocketz come in third. Not quite as mind blowing as the wagyu, but still a must order. Last on my list was the chashu pork belly, which is still really good, just competing with absolute heavy hitters. I was stuffed and had to order it to go, but If you have room for dessert, the banana pudding is worth it. For drinks, my husband had 2 different sakes and some Japanese whiskey and really liked them. And the decor deserves its own mention, it's like Cracker Barrel meets sexy Japan in the best possible way. It's fun, a little chaotic, and totally unforgettable. And shoutout to Yoshi, our server, who made the whole experience even better. He helped steer us toward the best dishes. Our bill at the end of the night was $88, not bad for all that we ordered. A few tips: make a reservation, ask for Yoshi if you can, and go early because parking is a real pain. Most importantly, get the wagyu short rib skewer.
