If you enjoy bold Southeast Asian flavors, you should visit this place. I've tried everything on the menu and loved it all. They offer several options, but every dish is like a comforting home-cooked meal. My favorites are the Papaya Salad, the Cambodian Beef Sticks, and Prahok Ktis. They are a small, family-owned business that is very kind and thoughtful. I love coming here to get takeout. There are also some picnic tables and seating inside the plant shop if you prefer to eat there.

This meal did NOT disappoint!! I wish I could eat it every day. My husband and I shared the Taste of Cambodia and it was the perfect amount of food - we didn't finish it all, but every bite was absolutely delicious. The owner gave us tips on how best to enjoy which was super nice. We sat at the picnic tables nearby and didn't wait long at all for our food. Will definitely come back again and again for the egg rolls and Prahok K'tis was my favorite -- so flavorful!!

I love supporting small businesses especially when they are serving such delicious food in a cuisine that you really don't find here in Austin! Blue apsara is an incredible Cambodian food truck that serves authentic and delicious food! It is located next to a plant shop where there are a couple tables to enjoy your food (if you choose not to drive it back home!) I highly recommend ordering the taste of Cambodia as we were able to sample the greatest hits the food truck has to offer! It came with egg rolls, which were cooked perfectly crispy and was accompanied with sweet and spicy sauce! It also came with the beef sticks, which the beef was marinated perfectly and went so good with the rice. The Khmer-Lao sausage was also incredibly done! The star of the meal though, was the Prahok K'tis which is a very authentic Cambodian dish. This alone is worth trying! It's spicy and funky in the best way possible. We also tried Nom Pahng Pate, which is similar to a Banh Mi! It was really good and I enjoyed the pate that was inside! Overall, please come and support this incredible food truck!!! There's not a lot of Cambodian places in Austin, so it really is a hidden gem in trying new cuisines from all around the world!

Super friendly people and DELICIOUS food! I got the number 11 sandwich and it's one of the best sandwiches I've had! 10/10 Plenty of seating outside and inside! HIGHLY RECOMMEND

The first Cambodian food truck in Austin, TX. We went to eat and we were not disappointed. The food is authentic and we will return! The owner Kim is very nice and pleasant

JUST saw this new food truck at Mary and South Lamar (right by the urban motorsports shop, on the right if heading south). It's about a mile south from the river/downtown. Cambodian options are extremely limited in this town so I was thrilled and I immediately made an order and was not disappointed! First I will say that the food here is extremely tidy. Perfectly formed and "neat" presentation. I ordered the eggrolls which were perfectly formed thumb sized crunchy Yummies. I got the Nom Pahng pate sandwich which is one of two "banh mi adjacent" sandwiches they offer. It was fresh and the tasty and the baguette was perfect, which is a real feat considering it is pissing rain right now. I also got the weeping tiger steak which is nice chunks of steak and a great dipping sauce. It's the most simple of the dishes I ordered but tasty and solid. I look forward to trying out the rest of the menu and bringing my friends! They don't yet have online ordering but I was able to call them and put my order in ahead so I didn't have to wait for my takeout order. They have "outdoor seating" under an awning of the plant store that shares the parking lot and advertise "indoor seating" but I did not wait around in the rain enough to investigate that lol.

Without even asking, he kept checking in on us, gave us pointers and made sure the people who I was with wouldn't consume any meat since they're vegetarian! I wish I could take back home this restaurant and the person who took care of us that night! So kind and humble. The food was a 10/10! There's indoor and outdoor seating as well as a bar. I requested extra coconut drizzle on the mango sticky rice and it was sooo yummy. I wished they added their desserts on the menu, but other than that, I loved my time there!

I've never had this dish with coconut cream as a sauce--it had a thinner consistency and was salted, which made it really interesting. The house special sauce is similar to fish sauce. The pancakes stayed crispy, and you can taste the turmeric. The shrimp was slightly overcooked, but it's not a big deal when you're dunking the pancakes into the sauces. The coconut cream sauce is especially unique--the sweet and savory combination kept me coming back for more. Crispy Rice Pie ($12): Crispy rice crust, egg, dried shrimp, dried shredded pork, honey green onions, white truffle, and house special sauce. The rice crust was crunchy and made a great base for all the toppings. I poured the house special sauce over the pie, which brought all the flavors together. I'm usually not a fan of dried shrimp, but this one didn't have a strong smell or taste, so it was fine. My husband loved the honey green onions. This appetizer is on the heavier side because of the rice--I was pretty full after just a quarter slice. Cajun Fried Rice ($20): Crawfish tails, hickory-smoked pork and beef sausage, egg, sweet corn, sweet onion, scallion, and Cajun spices. I'd never had crawfish fried rice before, and it wasn't bad. I'm not a huge crawfish fan, so it's more of a try-once dish for me, but my husband really enjoyed it. You definitely get hits of Cajun spice, while everything else is more subtle and well-balanced.

Safe to say, this place has texas sized portions! We will definitely be back cuz I always crave pho when it's rainy season. I have them hold the pork blood though. The Bahn Xeo crispy and filled with savory pork, shrimp, squid, and bean sprouts. This is another dish you should not miss here. Get the large size as it seems to have more surface area for the crispiness.

The highlight for this food place are their fresh, flavorful Pho with tender meats, excellent egg rolls, good Banh Mi, and attentive service. Some may find it slightly pricey but I feel the value is fair. I love the homemade broth and generous portions, making it a very good spot for authentic Vietnamese food. Meat portions are generous, especially the tender brisket and rare steak in Pho. Good portions, often enough for two meals, making it feel worth the price. Huge, well-filled egg rolls are a big hit. Decent, fresh, classic ingredients, especially Pho and sandwich. I easily noticed their quick, attentive, and polite staff. The restaurant exudes a bright, modern, and clean atmosphere. A point for consideration: when ordering, use the number/letter code instead of the food name to prevent any mistakes. My son who happens to be a vegan ordered a vegan Banh Mi (Banh Mi Chay) which has almost the same food name as a pork Bahn Mi (Banh Mi Cha Lau). They served a pork Bahn Mi, it took some time for my son to realize that he was eating a pork sandwich. It was partly a mistake from both sides, we did not blame the restaurant. The restaurant manager/owner was kind enough to give my son a complimentary fresh vegan Banh Mi upon everybody realizing the mistake. I was glad that my son never had a stomach upset that night. Despite the mishap, I am still giving this restaurant a high rating. One of the best Pho I have ever tasted.
