This is not our first time here. The Kimchi Stew was a little salty with little soup. The katsu and fried dumpling were alright. I had a better experience last time. Service is good. I will come back for other menu items

Food was amazing and our server was kind, informative and patient. I am vegan and my husband is carnivorous. For the appetizer my husband ordered the jumbo chicken wings and I ordered the vegetable dumplings with tofu. For entree he ordered katsu chicken and I ordered tofu hot pot. Will definitely be back to try more!

We visit K Bop during our trip to Manatee Viewing Center. This Korean restaurant is one of the few in the Apollo Beach area. The restaurant is tiny and cozy. The owner will meet and greet at the table. We start with bulgogi kimbap. The kimbap is delicious with bulgogi. One thing they can improve is more sesame oil to be use here. The second dish is the donkatsu pork cutlet. This is fried pork cutlet with rice, cabbage salad, pickle, and a soft drink. However, I think it is average dish. For the price value is not measured up for this area. Overall we like the service, food vs price not so much. There is some good thing about the restaurant. I rated in average median.

Friendly, tasty, comforting. I am very happy to welcome a korean restaurant to ruskin! I met the owner who also cooks and manages the restaurant actively. I would recommend this place to all who love korean food or want to try unique cuisine. THE FOOD: The appetizer Corn cheese was very nice. A combination of sweet and salty while also being filling. The entrees like my seafood stirfry were delicate and savory. The portions are not large but they are enough. The quality of the food and craftsmanship really pleased me. I took time to really enjoy the food and complimented it with a korean soda and water. To improve: this place was very hard to find, i cant find much else to say. I think youve made a wonderful experience and maybe just need to stand out more. Its hard to find/ identify this place besides being the only korean place around :)

No review could do this restaurant justice, as it is truly unique. All of the food is handmade, never frozen, including the hand-trimmed meats. Everything here is exceptional. I mainly come here for the handmade hotteok, which is hand stuffed yeast dough. Griddle fried and filled with gooey cinnamon sugar. So dreamy!

Someone call Mariah Carey, because I'm obsessed. This place is awesome and makes new banchan every week. They also have a nice selection of snacks and sodas. I often see people ordering Bulgogi and wings from here. I have a goal of trying everything from here, but I highly recommend the soondubu dishes and refills on the banchan. No frills. You sit down, order, and grub.

Won't return: too sweet! Ordered online: chicken , sides, soup and rice roll. The best of them is the plain white rice. The chicken tastes like candy. The kimchi is ok but I think mine is better -:)

K-pop...we had a wonderful time last night to support our local business. she was telling why she opened a restaurant. She cooks with quality ingredients as the owner and takes pride in cooking . Got the ramyun N8. 불고기라면 / Bulgogi Ramyun with cheese and my husband got the B1. 불고기 / Bulgogi. And we both were raving because the food just hit the spot for us!

The taste is there, but the food quality is disappointed. Perhaps kimbap has different versions, mine didn't have egg and pickle. the rib soups only has two ribs, and it was hard to get the meat off the bone. The prices are same as other Korean places.

The service was excellent and the food fantastic! We had a party of 12 and our food arrived hot and fresh and our server was very attentive throughout our entire dining experience. This place is fairly small but clean and they offer flavorful food and generous portions. It won't be my last visit.

The food lastnight was a very nice surprise. It was excellent. The grouper bites were amazing. The star the night. Very light, crispy and fresh. Cesar was very good. Chilean Sea Bass was cooked to perfection as was the Grouper Dinner. Both were ordered with the butter sauce. Sides were very good. Martinis on spot. Sorry no pictures. The people are also very nice even if service is a little slow. Okay, now to the meat of what you're interested in: the food. If the food were 50% cheaper you'd probably be willing to overlook its shortcomings for the ambiance. There's little seasoning to be found on anything so everything is bland. Even the fries are completely lacking in salt. The grouper was breaded nicely and cooked properly but it was almost tasteless. The bacon carried my wife's Crab BLT because everything was so bland for her. The lobster dip appetizer had uncooked Parmesan sprinkled on the bread that was neither bruschetta nor dipping bread so it just didn't work well as an appetizer either. Overall, there's a better restaurant literally next door that's a little cheaper and I can't see coming back after such a disappointing outing.

Best. Brussels sprouts. Ever!…read more I know! I'm at a seafood place with great views and tons of tropical drinks-and I appreciate all of that, too. But the Brussels sprouts... wow! They're made with honey... and honey, they're gooood! They're magical-and after an extra long work week, they were also medicinal. Finn's sits right on the water, in Apollo Beach. It's tucked back in a residential area, not far off U.S. 41, right next to Circles. We were there at 12;30 on a Friday afternoon and parking was already scarce. (I can't imagine weekend nights) But don't let that hold you back. This is a fun spot-with inside dining-a huge covered deck and two other outside areas-all with great views. The food and bar menus have enough temptations to keep you coming back for that alone. The blackened mahi was cooked well and not too spicy. It comes with pineapple pico-that was balanced-not overwhelmed by onions. And the fries were really good-nice crunch-came out piping hot. And don't forget the Brussels (I sure won't!) I thought $21.99 was a fair price for the generous portion of fish and two sides (they have a large sides selection!) The drinks were good-nice kick, but not too strong--just right. I hadn't had a rumrunner in *years but suddenly had a craving for one. I knew it would be sweet-and it was-but I liked it. The key lime colada (made with Rumchata coconut!) was very sweet but really good. The perfect dessert. The vibe is casual, laid back and fun. Service was warm and super efficient. Amanda always knew just when to check in. It was the perfect April day to be out on the deck. It's a great spot to laugh with friends or just chill out and slow down. I'm all for all of it. Finntastic!

First impression was a little suspect because it's clearly a house turned restaurant/bar. Once we got inside though, I loved the charm of it. There are different rooms you walk through and they have it all set up with tables and chairs....all different kinds so it's a modge podge of tables. Then there are cool chandeliers over the tables and bar signs everywhere. Our waitress was a new implant to Florida and she was super sweet and helpful. She also made a mean vodka tonic! Ok so let's get to the food. First we ordered the Fried Alligator Bites and the Fried Green Tomatoes as appetizers and they were both delicious! The alligator wasn't super chewy and the voodoo sauce was banging! I went with the Shrimp and Grits and sheesh I was blown away! I loved the texture and the taste of the grits. They had just the right amount of cheese and the shrimp were cooked perfectly! The hubby got the Grouper Tacos and he said they were good but a little dry. He wished they had some more toppings...either sauce or pico de gallo. My daughter got the mussel pasta. She loved the mussels but was disappointed by the penne pasta. She wished it was a bit saucier as it only had a lemony/wine liquid that wasn't sticking to the pasta. All in all this place was good. We will go at least once more since it's by where we're staying and I want to try a couple more things on the menu.

We ordered the shot honey grouper sandwich, bang bang shrimp fries, fried shrimp and grouper bites. Three were weekend specials for $9.99. That price and quality cannot be beat! The hot honey grouper was awesome. Very nice filet of grouper with hot honey on it. Sweet, spicy and freshly cooked. 10/10. Fries were freshly fried and had a nice seasoning. Great meal. My son had the grilled grouper bites. They were cooked perfectly and he devoured them. 2 thumbs up! Other son had the shrimp basket. Fried shrimp were juicy and crispy. Not over battered. Great taste and another 2 thumbs up. Bang bang shrimp fries were really good. Not hot but had great flavor. Fries had a ton of bacon and that yummy sauce drizzled over them. Would get again. 9/10. Easy to find, plenty of parking. Nice outdoor area with about 6 tables. Service was friendly and quick. Price was great for fresh seafood. We drove about 30 minutes and it was worth the drive!

The side red potatoes were a step up from coleslaw. We also tried the lobster roll on an earlier visit. It was bland to OK, but definitely not a price performer. We absolutely love the Ruskin Seafood Market for fresh fish. Very good selection and I guess ultimately we prefer to fix our own seafood.

Truly-it's a feast for the senses-all the colorful lamps, the background music, the accent lighting and wall quotes, even the menus: super colorful and stylish. I stopped in on a Saturday afternoon around 1:30, for a late lunch after morning errands. I was hoping to find a new hangout for Saturday nights with friends. This place is large-so many booths and tables-and a separate bar area with tall stools. It's somewhat dim inside, even with all the windows, which just adds to the ambiance. It's also very clean and well staffed. Service was quick and efficient--complimentary chips and salsa arrived in a flash-and I truly appreciate my server telling me the margarita at the bottom of the list was $40. (None of the cocktails have prices listed in the menu, as of May 2026). I wanted to order a couple of things, since I'd been trying to get here for so long. I ordered queso fundido, expecting it to be cheese dip with a bit or chorizo. It was actually the other way around: chorizo with a spoonful of cheese on top. It was surprising-very filling and tasty enough-and I liked that it came with three flour tortillas. But I don't think I'll get it again. Don't let that deter you, though. It's just my preference. It's made well and presented nicely, like everything here. Give it a whirl! I also ordered enchiladas Suizas. They came with a small guacamole salad and beans, which I swapped out for rice. This dish was really tasty and a generous portion-so much chicken in the enchiladas-super filling but not heavy at all. I was full from the appetizer, so I had lots of leftovers. They reheated beautifully. I would definitely order this again. But it's a big and intriguing menu. I have lots more exploring to do! This location has several sister restaurants, in places like Lakeland and Zephyrhills. This one is right off I-75 and really easy to access. There's lots of parking and I think they have mariachis, certain nights. I will definitely be back-sooner rather than later-and get more details. Cheers!

Because it was Easter and my wife wanted Mexican food, I figured after a year since my last visit to this restaurant they may have gotten better. I was actually worse. The FREE chips and salsa were terrible. Chips were hard and old tasting and the salsa was watery and tasteless. I think I found one onion piece in the tomato soup they call salsa. Let's start with the service. Mr. No personality, what do you want, why are you asking me questions about the menu truly just seemed annoyed that my wife had a question before we ordered. I had the combo fajita with steak and chicken. My with had the Carne Asada tacos. The tacos had no flavor at all. Just tasted liked chopped up pork with a lot of onions and cilantro on top had no spices no seasoning. As for my fajitas, they to were lacking flavor and the portion for what they charge was shameful I had a big plate of onions with a couple of minced up pieces of chicken and steak scattered throughout it. Both our dishes were served with refried beans and rice and even that tasted like they forgot to season it or just chose not to season it. Truly never returning to this place. It sucks!!!!!!! Should have driven the extra 15 minutes to some of the places that have good reviews on Yelp.
