Stopped here specifically for boba, and was not disappointed. The restaurant was clean and welcoming, and the menu was extensive with options for both take out and order in and a "self order" option . The young man who was the front staff was fast, friendly and welcoming! The boba menu options and prices were both thorough and very reasonable. The drinks came out quickly and delicious, full of flavor. I've had my fair share of Boba in the area and this was the best I've had in a very long time. Will definitely return!

I went in late, about an hour before they closed. I was craving boba and they happened to be open and close to where I was. When I went in, I got confused because the host was on the phone, so I went right up to where they serve the food, then turned around and kind of looked around. Saw the ordering kiosk off to the side, so I went there to place my order. Ordering was straight forward and I went to sit down at one of the empty tables to wait. I ended up waiting for about 15 minutes, which dreams like a long time for what I ordered. The ambiance was just like a normal fast food restaurant would look. Mostly tables and food service in the back. There were several ppl eating there even though they were close to closing. I ordered the BBQ pork buns and a brown sugar milk tea boba. I liked that they had brown sugar boba instead of just the regular boba. My drink was just ok, not very flavorful even though I got mine extra sweet (tasted like a normal sweet). All of the flavor was on the bottom but I'm not sure if it's bc I got the brown sugar boba or if that's just the way they serve it. I would have liked to shake it, but the way their lids are, it would have spilled, so I had to kind of stir it up with the straw. The BBQ pork buns were terrible. One tiny slice of BBQ pork, which had a weird taste to it. A small sliver of cucumber and lettuce was on the side. I only ate one of them because the flavor was off putting. I'll likely not be back.

Someone recommended this spot to me when I lamented over how there weren't many bubble tea spots around me. I also grabbed a takoyaki order and curry ramen with a side of black garlic. Please get the side of black garlic, it adds pizzazz to the flavours. I probably wouldn't get the takoyaki again, but the drink and ramen was solid. Would return to try more items. Casual spot, service was quick.

Overall, the service is good and fast for take out and dining in. Depending on the time of day you go will determine who greets you and the level of service you will receive. I have noticed when a younger person is handling the hostess booth they are not as welcoming or attentive as the seasoned employees. I have tried all the ramen options available at different visits. There is an inconsistency with the tasty-ness of the broth. Sometimes it is bland and other times it is perfection.

Love Token!! So many delicious options for food and the boba tea is on point! II had the edamame and spring rolls for apps and they were good. I liked the ramen options as well as the non ramen options.

The wait was RIDICULOUS, over 35 minuets for just 2 boba drinks. The drinks were really good so that kind of made up for it but I'm definitely not inclined to visit again fearing another long wait. Multiple customers were complaining, not just us. Another critique would have to be the self ordering kiosk. Most items lacked pictures and the customization options had no description so it was hard to know what was what. All in all an okay place, not sure if that day was just an off day for them. I may give them another shot.

I really like this place. The food is really good and flavorful and comes out relatively fast as well. However, it seems like the restaurant is really understaffed so our waitress took a little bit of time to come around. I went with a larger party (5 people plus 1 child) on a Friday night. When we arrived there were already a lot of people and not a lot of space to stand and wait. I was told the wait would be about 20 minutes, but we waited more than an hour. Not sure if this place is great for larger parties I would recommend going with like 2 - 4 people or ordering ahead for take out!

Token Ramen Hibachi Boba Tea near Big Bend in Riverview

It's so great to see another Token Ramen location open up in Riverview. This one is located on Stelling Drive, off of 301. It's in a brand new plaza that faces away from the main road. You'll have to make the turn on Stelling from 301, and then make a left turn into the plaza parking lot. I didn't see any other entrance. There may be another way to get to it from the neighborhood behind it. There's plenty of parking. The restaurant is modern & attractive. There are 2 kiosk stations to the right as you first walk in. These are for takeout orders. There's a host to the left that will seat you if you're dining in. The seating is comfortable, and there are cooking shows displayed on the screens over the counter. The staff is friendly and helpful. The food is like any other Token Ramen. I'm a big fan of their Black Garlic Ramen. I order it every time I go to the Riverview location on Providence Rd. The difference is that this location has ramen on their special lunch menu. I was so happy to see that. It's a great price. I went with the Tonkotsu Ramen and added an additional seasoned egg along with a side of black garlic oil. Believe it or not, the lunch ramen ended up being a little under the regular menu price of the BG Ramen even with the additional items. It was also just as tasty as always. Token Ramen still makes the best seasoned egg of all the ramen shops in Tampa Bay. I can never pass up getting an additional one. The same goes with that black garlic oil. I poured it all into my bowl of ramen. You can never have enough of it. I love how it mingles all together with the perfectly cooked noodles. It's an addiction. So, the reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because they were out of my first 2 boba tea choices. I know it's because they just opened. I wanted to get the pistachio milk tea that I saw online. They didn't have it because it was whited out on the menu. My 2nd option was the ginger milk strike. They didn't have it. I ended up getting the Chai milk strike. It was great! The menu selection was good, but not as big as the other location that I frequent the most. I'm sure that the menu will grow as the restaurant grows. I'm guessing that there isn't a Kung Fu Tea at this location since I didn't see the logo anywhere. But hey, everything that I had was very good. I definitely want to go back for the ramen lunch special (for as long as they have it). I can't tell you about any of the other food because I can never pass on the ramen. I do want to try the Korean Style Beef Ramen one day. It's under their specialty ramens. Will I be back? Absolutely!! I can't wait to see it grow.

First time going. Really not a Ramen person but did not feel like cooking and wanted something hot to eat and decided to try it. I tried the grilled shrimp ramen and my husband the shrimp hibachi. The food was good. Did not care for the egg. I will give it a try again.

But don't let that fool you into thinking it's under different management. It's the same wonderful team that's always been there. I was happy to see that during my most recent visit. My favorite item here is the Black Garlic Ramen. Honestly, it's my favorite ramen in the area. This time, I decided to deviate. I went with the Mega Pork mainly because of the beautiful picture on the menu. This is such a meaty and tasty dish, although I did miss the black garlic oil. I'd totally get this again with the addition of black garlic. There's something about it that really brings out the seasoned flavors of the egg. The tonkotsu broth is always amazing with or without it. It warms my bones, and especially on a cold winter day. It's also nice that Kung Fu Tea is still the prominent brand here. It's always reliable with consistently good quality ingredients. Their seasonal Pumpkin Oolong Milk Tea is always a winner. So, what has changed? The menu now includes soft or crispy sushi tacos. They have 4 different kinds. I tried the crispy shell with smoked salmon. I LOVE it!! I almost ordered another one, but it would have been too much with the ramen. I can't wait to get it again. I really love that fried maki wrap. It's so light & crunchy. It really does add a good amount of texture to the sushi along with the cucumber. So, I almost got one of the 4 different udons on the menu. It was going to be a toss up between the Kimchi Shrimp and the Black Garlic. Again, it was the beautiful pictures on the menu that lured me in. Ah, but I went with the ramen instead. I will definitely try the udon next time. I was told that the Kimchi Shrimp is very popular. If that's not enough to tempt you, then you must check out the dessert menu. I saw items such as Matcha Cheesecake and Vanilla Crepe Cake that definitely caught my eye. I'm already thinking about my next lunch order. I love the rebranding and the new menu. The service is still great as well as the ambiance in the dining area. It's a place that will always keep me coming back for more. Update: Get the Kimchi Shrimp Udon. It's that Korean inspired udon dish that almost tastes Italian. Absolutely delicious! Freedom & Nevaeh were both so very helpful. Thanks to both!
