This model was discontinued and a previous tech from First American Insurance had confirmed that no parts were available. Very bad experience! Waited all day and didn't answer the phone or called back and no show ! Once I called from a different phone he answered and said the time was different! We still were willing to wait for him but he got very mean and have no etiquettes to speak to a woman and hung up the phone ! Don't use this contractor ! Ruined our whole evening! Service tech came to look at my dishwasher. His English was very hard to understand. He kept turning the washer on and off and told me there was nothing wrong with it. Came back Tuesday to replace the part, my washer is over 20 years old.. it was very rusted took him forever to get the part off.. My family and I have a fairly new stand up freezer in my garage that decreased in its freezer ability in January. We called KC Appliance Repair, not only to support a local business, but to deal with a local person and not a corporation. They came out, told us it was our fan and the next week it was fixed. Now in March our freezer is doing the same thing. We again called K C Appliance Repair to look at our freezer and they came right out. The repairman looked five seconds at our freezer and said it was the fan again. I questioned him about the fan, since it was just in January it was "fixed." He said it then might not be the fan but the mechanism the fan sets in. I asked him if he could really look at it and make sure. He said he was pretty sure.... So I'm obviously the " annoying Karen" because I was questioning him. We just spent $200 in January! I asked him to call my husband and to discuss with him as I was starting to get some annoying under handed comments from the repair man telling me " that's was we get for buying this freezer." There was no customer service given basically and zero customer support offered. My husband got a call from the repair man telling him we will have to call the manufacturer because he didn't want to deal with our freezer. Zero customer service, did not help us at all and created a larger problem. Which, I am positive was his point! Would not recommend KC Appliance Repair. HUGE Warning!!! Great service! Refrigerator went down on a Tuesday, he was in our home the same day to try & fix it. The Compressor went out. He gave me the honest longest case scenario of how long the part could take to get in, 2 weeks before it got fully fixed. He got right on it after he left our house & ordered it. It was only 4 days! He called us, said he got it in & could put it in ASAP. We were only without a fridge for 4 days. WOW! Thank you! He not only came into our home with all the PPE needed to keep our family & him safe, he also was very careful with our floors not to scratch them. He did a great job. It was a big job, but he made it look easy. I called my home warranty paid $100 for the appointment . (HOME SHIELD) same day appt around 8am The contractor KC appliance answered and scheduled a time frame for diagnostic. My Samsung refrigerator side by side freezer took a dump this early morning I notice it was registering a blink and blink thermostat of 65 for freezer , the standard setting is -2 and I saw a pool of water on my hard wood floors.. so I called this verified company he is also on Yelp as well and read all the reviews.. I'm glad to meet Sonny , very responsible respectful, professional , he quickly put booties and he worn his N-95 mask the whole entire time... He throughly explain what he saw in the freezer , he called his appliance part store , he definitely got the parts and later that afternoon he came as scheduled time that he promise , he clean the freezer with steam unit hose and I provided towels he took his time and fix the freezer fan and thermostat and he definitely wipe things down. I also provide a wet and dry vacuum to help with soak floor .. He took the job and ordered parts and Im pleased and happy to use this company .. KC repair was referred to us by my home warranty company. Needed a new compressor for my fridge. He changed it out and it was humming loud. I told him my fridge was quiet. He said this is how it sounds. 2 weeks later, now, it's not making ice and the temp was warming. I told him and he said my thermometer wasn't right. I told him I just bought it that day. So I'm trying to call him back and he's not answering or returning my phone calls. Today he answered and noticed it was me and he hung up. I kept calling and it keeps going to voice-mail. Left several messages with them to set up a return visit to fix my refrigerator. They never returned my phone call and had to contact American Home Shield. On my fourth phone call to them they finally responded. Sony is very nice and professional but they are too busy and terrible about returning your phone call. I will probably ask American Home Shield for a different repair company next time. Very frustrating when they don't return your phone call back in a timely order. read more

FREON REMOVAL- Needed freon removed from my old refrigerator in order to be dumped and was relieved to find KC repair! I contacted sooo many companies and only one said they could do it for $300, which is crazy! One company referred me to KC, they came out several days later, took about 30 minutes for the process, left me with a receipt with vital info to verify the freon removal, and it was way less than $100. My Samsung dryer stopped working on Christmas day and KC was referred to me by my Home Warranty Company. The owner (Sony) contacted me the day after Christmas in the morning and was very helpful. I was working and Sony made arrangements to make his service call when it was more convenient for me in the late afternoon. He questioned me about the issue with the dryer and determined what the problem may be. He quickly found the replacement part prior to arriving and confirmed that the issue was with the belt he had already obtained. He was professional and respectful of my home. He immediately placed clean booties over his shoes before entering and went to work. He did not dilly dally and got the dryer open quickly. He asked for a vacuum to clean the inside of my very linty dryer, but allowed me to do the vacuuming myself when I asked. He got my dryer working in under an hour! I had to file a claim on a Sunday through First American Home Warranty for a dryer issues. K C Appliance Repair was referred to me. I woke up very early today to wash all of my laundry and let it air dry because I thought it would be several days before service could be arranged and need clothes for work this week. Low and behold...maybe an hour after I placed the service request online, Sonny from K C Appliance Repair called and asked if I'd be around in an hour. I was home today and he was here in 30 minutes! He was super professional and very nice. He put on shoe protectors while here for he checked a variety of components on the dryer and quickly determined it was the heating element. He had the old one out, the area cleaned of lint, the new one installed and the dryer was up and running within 30 minutes. He tested everything and explained what had happened that caused the problem. He had everything he needed and all of the tools and was he and finished in less than an hour. I just wanted to let him and K C Appliance Repair know he did a great job and I thank him for getting the dryer repaired. I out some damp clothes in and am back in business!
