This place seems very consistent in their quality and prices are reasonable despite the crazy economy we are in. I love the coziness of this place and I want to come back to dine in next time. The take out I got was tasty and filling.

Food here is a sooo fresh. Had the hot stone bowl, white rice, bulgogi beef, vegetables of my choice and a fried egg. Homemade sauces too. Everything in house is Gluten free. Service was wonderful; a super sweet couple run this family owned business. Ambiance is simple and casual. Quick option for take out or dining in. Highly recommend this spot. I will definitely be back.

Still love this place! We come at least once a month. I have tried almost all the proteins and the shakes are to die for.

Sauces. Sweet, tamari soy, medium sauce and a hot sauce.

If you have not given this place a try, GO NOW! As most the reviews state this was a winner due to the Gluten free options. Actual Celiac friendly options. It is criminal what is in our food. Kfresh was great from the start.Three of us walked in as newbies said from the start we have no clue. The owner showed us our choices told us where to start and helped us with recommendations as we chose. We all went with two proteins, white rice, glass noodles, and then our veggies all varied. We ordered hot bowls. They build them, cook them, and bring the bowls to you when hot and ready. As mentioned the restaurant is a bit small but it never felt cramped. My only suggestion is organizing all the "stuff" in the side, kitchen and back part of the restaurant. I would say if you're looking for cleanliness, this could be off putting. Nonetheless everything was top notch , service, food and experience. We will be back.

Ordered takeout from K Fresh while at the nearby hospital. The online ordering was easy, and I loved that you get to select so many options for toppings (up to 5!). Kind of like Chipotle but for Korean food! Ingredients tasted fresh, and for $13, the portion size is very generous and filling. Only downside was that some toppings were far too salty for me, like the shiitake mushrooms and even the marinade on the honey glazed chicken. We also got a vegan mango shake and enjoyed the mango chunks!

OhMyGoodness! You have not tried fresh Bibimbap until you've been here!!!! This little spot is amazing- quick service, fresh food made to order, options galore and reasonably priced! There is seating inside and outside to enjoy the delicious food. The perfect lunch spot, dinner spot, snack spot ever. You will love It here, I promise.

This is a unique take on Korean food. It's like subway but for a bibimbap style bowl. I wish you could have more free options before the add ons start, but I'm sure we'd all love that. Either way, the ingredients were fresh and had everything you could want. It was very tasty and there were sauce options as well, not just geochujang. Very casual and fast, so it is perfect for lunch. Also, there is a fantastic bakery around the corner.

Aaaah YESSS I 100 percent endorse and recommend this fantastic Korean bowl-concept restaurant (very vegetarian-friendly). It exudes the charm of a small Korean mom-and-pop cafe and its setting amidst former industrial/port businesses and taverns on a side street heading towards the water makes it all the more unique. It you want to get away from machine-like fast food and get a much healthier, tastier, artisanally hand-crafted fast food, then you will not want to miss K Fresh. I had their "hot stone bibimbap" and loved the choices of meats (Vegan Beef? YESSS!), brown/white rice, and exquisite Korean cooked side vegetables as toppings. I chose kimchi (fermented cabbage), spinach, meaty shitake mushrooms, spiced cucumber mix. The bowl was made up in an assembly line fashion, then taken to the magic in the back kitchen, and presented to me on the table in a safe-wood frame, because the stone bowl was HOT! What sets this place apart from other "vegan bowls" is that each element of the toppings is cooked in traditional style. Other modern American vegan bowls seem thrown together for their eye candy value--for color--while the components are barely seasoned or cured. Here, the components are cooked with reference to centuries of cultural practice, and the bowl thus opens a window into unique place-based cultural adaptation of food to climate, nutritional needs, taste palates, and seasonal ingredient availability. Viva Korea! At the tables various sauces are set out, to dress the bibimbap, helpfully labeled for spice tolerance. The cold grey day outside was perfect to savor the warm, hot and sweet Korean cuisine. I loved this dining experience. I cannot recommend more highly.

Always an easy and delicious meal. Used to go here all the time when I lived in Everett. Found myself back up here this week so had to get my fill. You can customize your bibimbap with protein and various toppings. Just how I remembered it. Good price and friendly staff to boot!

Gluten-free Korean! Yay! The food here is super yum! Very hard to find a Korean comfort food spot that is entirely gluten-free. What a treat!

As someone who is required to eat strictly gluten free and has a dairy free husband, this gem of a restaurant meets all our dietary needs! They are a 100% gluten free and dairy free restaurant with a create your own bowls. We love getting the hot stone bowl option. First, you select your base which includes white rice, brown rice, or salad. Next you select one or two servings of protein (jackfruit is their meatless option). I love combining the jackfruit with their honey chicken. Finally, you can select up to 5 toppings. The service is prompt and the owners are so kind! The restaurant is clean and bright. We love coming here!

My bowl without rice or any base, just protein and vegetable, and sauces of course! So yummy!

Now coming in it was a little awkward as you walk in and the counter is right by the entrance just like most restaurants, but there were no signs that said wait to be seated or seat yourself. After standing there for a couple of minutes I saw people grabbing menus and congregating to the register. I was waiting for someone so it worked out well. You order and then take your number or in this case a magic 8 ball to the table(so they know which order goes where). This location is much larger than I remember. It had a very eclectic ambiance. More or less different types of tables and chairs everywhere, but gave off a homey vibe. The people that were working were very pleasant. We both opted for water, in which they had a water station for you to fill a cup and sit down. After sipping my water I noticed the glass I had was chipped and cracked, a chard actually chipped off in my hand. I took it back up to the front and exchanged it. Probably not the best idea to have all of the glasses stacked on top of on another. I ordered the Cajun chicken sandwich, in which upon ordering they had to check if they were ready to serve that. I was lucky enough that they were, although I did have a back up plan. The turkey sandwich came out with a mixed green salad with a dressing I was not sure of, but was very refreshing. The turkey sandwich on sourdough was very flavorful and I was very happy with my pick. I would definitely come back here and try more things, although the Cajun sandwich remains on my mind. But I digress -- you're supposed to be reading my review. I decided that I was in the mood for grilled cheese and tomato soup, so that's what I ordered. We were greeted as we entered and had access to the menus right away, as they are placed at the entrance. We got seated and were able to order quickly. We came at a non-peak time so we were at the front of the queue so to speak. The restaurant is very clean. The bathrooms are also very clean, which I love to see. It shows me the business really cares about how it comes across. Our food was prepared and served very fast. My friend was still in the restroom by the time it had come. As you can see from the image, my Japchaebap was awesome. (Order with tofu if you're vegan) I got mild spice just because I am sensitive to *too much* spice. But as someone who enjoys spice I couldn't really perceive it. So if you have a good spice tolerance I'd suggest you up the spice one more level than you would think. The flavoring was great, but I don't really like the noodle texture. I prefer them with more weight. It was a slight challenge getting them onto the fork, and it being stable enough to put into your mouth. Just something to consider when choosing your dish. I'm still glad I chose to experience the dish. Maybe I'll learn to like this style of noodle. Special note if you're vegan too: the kimchi has shellfish, so skip any menu items with the asterisks that have kimchi in the ingredients. Thankfully my friends caught that because I would've missed it as it's below another note.

Anywho, tacos were ok, a little dry and light on the fillings. Clams were standard steamed in white wine, and good. Wow, what a god send of a bakery! A complete GF bakery?!?! Yayyyy!!…read more I am so excited when I found out they make vegan, dairy free pastries. Double checked...Dairy free means no milk, cream, yogurt, butter etc. so I look for labels that says DV, V. Everything is automatically certified gluten free and there is no worry on cross contamination. They don't use run of the mill commercial grade high gluten flour the website tells all. There's also paleo, keto options. As someone who hasn't been eating butter based pastries due to doctor's orders, this bakery is like finding gold. Our favorite after 2 visits are their vegan dairy free sea salt chocolate chunk cookie, their classic GF big chocolate chip cookie, vegan dairy free banana macadamia nut muffin, and my absolute favorite is their dairy free vegan sweet strawberry scone (with rhubarb, flax and coconut). I typically find scones to be bland and dry. Not these! I enjoyed these so much they were so moist and delicious but what I love most is the chewy bits on the edge. My hubby is a chocolate fiend but he usually get sluggish and sick to his stomach after inhaling a large chocolate pastry from other bakery. He ate their large size classic chocolate chip cookie and it didn't bother him. Tasted amazing too! Their sourdough is one of a kind. It's piping hot and available on a daily basis while supplies last. Nobody offers gluten free artisan sourdough fresh out of the oven on a walk in basis. It stayed hot for hours after I brought it home because it was such a dense dough. When I think about how much more time and work went into these special loaves (not mass produced) and loaded with nutrition, the $23.50 is worth it! The sourdough is super moist if you don't toast it there's almost a slight tacky feel to it. Once toasted, it is the best artisan toast eating experience. This am, I enjoyed an open faced peanut butter and blackberry jam toast. Appreciate also they provide on the package specific care instructions for the best experience. For the price, I made sure we wash our hands and did all the suggested prep needed. My only critique would be transparency on pricing in store and on website. It was mildly shocking when the register total was in the $80 range after 2 sourdough loaves and 6 pastries before tip. After eating it, we realized it's actually worth every penny. Good at a different level. Maybe if they have a daily special would be nice to bring in more people? Well, we will come back regardless! Love this new bakery find!!

Upon entering, i immediately noticed baked goods display and the drink menu. The case was filled with a bunch of interesting types of baked goods. On top of the rose cardamom latte, brioche tart and cardamom twist. We also got a savory scone and another item that escapes me. I enjoyed the savory scone the most. It had chives and bacon amongst other things. Great texture and not too dry. The brioche tart was a meal all on its own. Heavy and will put you to sleep. The cheese I think that was in there was gruyere but I could be wrong. I enjoyed it but definitely will splooge out if you down eat it on a plate with utensils. Eventually it does get monotonous for me. Recommend sharing it. Cardamom twist was the least favorite item. I'm not sure what it was but there was an essence of something in the background that threw the flavor off for me. I can't seem to describe it. The twist was slightly doughy/stodgy for me. Maybe part of an off batch. I typically do like cardamom centered things. This wasn't my favorite is all I can say. One suggestion I would hope gets implemented is cost of goods displayed for each item. I can say I was surprised at the total during check out. I do go to a lot of bakeries, cafes and artisanal shops. I always felt more at ease knowing what I was getting into from a financial standpoint. Tip is to look at their discounted items. They are a steal. They also have a rewards program that gets you a drink with every new sign up paired with a purchase I wish I had known prior to purchase as I was only able to spot signage at the register.

We ordered the kimchi pancake, short rib soup with potatoes and glass noodles, and fried beef brisket (spice level 2/4). The kimchi pancake was overly breaded and tasted like it had been fried in reused oil. The short rib soup was the safest dish of the night, but the beef was still chewy rather than tender, the glass noodles were minimal, and the broth was extremely salty with a noticeable MSG-like taste. The fried beef brisket was heavily sauced, overly salty, and far spicier than a mild level should be. The beef itself tasted far from fresh and was very tough to chew. The appetizers were among the most basic I've seen at any Korean restaurant in the Greater Seattle area. Even then, the kimchi lacked depth and tasted unfresh, with sourness that felt more like age than proper fermentation. What made the experience even stranger was when the server asked how everything was. We tried to respond politely, and the server simply said, "I'm with you." Korean food is not rare in this area, and the prices here are on the higher side. With that context, the quality is difficult to justify. To be fair, the space is decent for group gatherings, large space, and the staff were friendly. But food is the most basic standard for a restaurant, and unfortunately it fell far below expectations. I genuinely don't understand how this place has such high ratings.
