They have so many options, even for pescatarians and vegetarians. My husband and I were so excited, we went a little crazy. They recommend choosing 1-1.5 pound worth of ingredients and we both went over. The final step is choosing your flavor and spice levels. We both opted for #1, the malatang. For my spice level, I chose medium and my husband chose extra hot. They warned him it would be very spicy, but he likes it that way. There's nothing fancy about this restaurant. It's DIY, self serve. For the malatang, you grab a very large bowl and put everything your heart desires in it (I'm talking about seafood, meats, protein, veggies, carbs, etc, not everything you desire in a man/woman), you bring it to the counter, and pick your soup base, and they bring it out on a burner, and you start chowing! Pretty easy and simple! They have a self serve sauce bar with all the different sauce recipes that you can create as many saucy combinations as you like! I didn't love my spicy malatang, hence the 3 star for this visit, but hopefully I can give it another shot again trying something different!
