Took the kiddos to dinner Tuesday night with the hubs. It was $30 for the adults and $15 for our older son. Luckily our little one was free because he ate like a bird. We have been here many times but I didn't realize I haven't written a review. It can be hit or miss here but this time it was good. Service was great and they're around for banchan refills and ordering more meat. My fave is the kalbi & brisket. Paired with ssamjang and radish paper, it's the best combo. Our older son loves their kalbi and literally ate almost two orders on his own. We like to call it meat candy because there's so much sugar in the marinade. Manna BBQ can never go out of business!!! I absolutely loved this place. We went at 5:30pm on a Saturday and it was busy, but we waited no more than 10 minutes to get seated. The service was so fast and we never waited for anything. I was so impressed with the meats, the options, and how amazing everything was. I'm also so happy to know they serve beef tongue, which is my favorite Korean BBQ meat. The new favorite is the vegetable tempura. It was nicely sweet and piping hot. Delicious addition to an ayce. I do wish they had white rice. They only had fried rice, but I found it very greasy and overly peppery for my taste. The tables are much bigger, and the service is faster - but they gave my toddler so much sweet attention! Great vibes and efficient team! Highlights: Really nice to see a manna on the side of town! The meat quality is really good and I love the variety of not just meats, but appetizers and sides. They are super quick with bringing out the food and overall service. If there's a certain side, you'd like, you can ask for more and they bring like 3X the normal quantity. Lowlights: Skip the fried chicken because it's mostly breading - stick to the wings. The tofu soup was probably the saltiest soup I've ever had. Me and my friend went and try out a new BBQ and we were amazed how busy restaurants is and yea, not so surprising why they are so busy and long wait because the have a variety options with reasonable price for all you can eat with $28.99. Food was ok. Very salty but a wide variety. The service was terrible. Our waitress had the vibe that she didn't want to be there and it showed through the service. The same song kept playing over and over again and it was extremely annoying. Our waitress practically avoided us the whole time and the service was so slow. So we didn't know that there was a Chandler location, so we kind of stumbled upon this one. We were so excited that there was a location closer to us, but in the end it didn't compare to the normal location we attend. I feel like some of the meat weren't as marinated as the Mesa location, their jap chae taste weird, and their steamed egg was burnt so it had a very bitter taste to it. Service also wasn't that great as we ended up waiting for a good twenty minutes for our bill, and they weren't even really busy and had more than enough servers out front. It wasnt the normal experience so it just didn't satisfy us. Oh and exhaust was set so low and in place, so we couldn't move it around. Worst experience ever at this location.. We were rushed, orders were missed, waiter kept dropping stuff on my friends at the table, and so much more.. If I would have known that this is exactly how we were going to be treated, I would have never showed up.. Let's begin, the wait was long: Hostess went outside to call others names, but didn't call ours. I waited over 20 mins just to check back in and they had already marked my name off. After advising the hostess of us not being called, they said that they called our names. I had asked if they checked outside and they said no... now we are off to a bad start. We finally got sat down as a table of six at a smaller booth when there was more than enough room to fit us on the other tables. The waiter kept rushing us to place our orders when we had over 2 hours to still place orders. After getting the first round, they delayed other items or even forgot until we reminded them. Unfortunately, the food was not that great. Other locations seem to have been much better in quality. Additionally, we only had ONE grill change when it's usually more frequent. An hour in, we were informed it was already last call. How? We still had over FORTY MINUTES left. We looked it up... however, they brought the bill back 30 minutes before closing, slammed it down near my wife and it fell down. They simply picked it back up, but no apologies were given. Crazy part is that they still kept asking me to put a payment down when we still had 20 minutes left before closing. Why are you rushing us? There were still people inside. We still were missing food and it didn't arrive until they were past closing and us having to bug them about it. The BANCHAN side dishes were just kept on the waiters cart. Its not chilled, we ate family of 4 my kids didnt have the banchan but my husband and I both had it and we both had GI issues . We both have stomach that can withstand -food issues since We both came from developing countries in Asia - so to get affected by this is wild. Awesome quality of meat especially for an AYCE place! It is $28.99 a person. They have cooked and uncooked items. Your clothes will smell like kbbq when you leave, but it's so worth it! My favorite is Nuk Gan Sal! It is beef rib finger meat - meat cut from between the ribs. Chadol, galbi, manna steak, and beef tongue are just gets. For cooked items, I love getting the corn cheese, japchae, vegetable tempura, ramen, and tofu soup! We didn't have to wait as we came at 5pm on a Friday, but it got really busy when we were leaving. We had a great time at Manna for our first time! Crystal was a great server and brought out all of our food extremely quickly and was very friendly and helpful! Our favorite things were, in order: 1. Spicy pork bulgogi (#35) - this is strips of pork that were marinated in a spicy sauce - delicious flavor! Not too spicy, maybe a 2 out of 5 2. Joomuluk (#21) - this was marinated steak and were nice and juicy after cooking 3. Chadol Beagi (#11) - this is really thinly sliced meat, cooks very quickly and easy to make crispy Along with their meats, all which were great (we tried most of the menu), we really liked the banchan (side dishes)! The pickled cucumbers were sooooo good, as was the mashed potatoes! Kimchi was good, picked radish, and beansprouts! They also had fish cakes (we don't eat fish). The banchan were unlimited which was nice too! They also didn't charge us for the rice. We also really liked the Soondubu, which is a spicy tofu stew - very delicious and came in a hot stone bowl (single serving) so it stayed piping hot for a while! Lols Dark and lit up with blue lights, can't really hear what the other is saying across the table since it's so loud. So don't go here if you want a quiet atmosphere for deep convos. Lols I'm sure it's not like that for lunch. I made a ressie ahead of time for my party of 5 at 5:30. I recommend doing that especially on a weekend. It wasn't busy when we walked in but around 6:30 the place was packed and a line of people waiting. We ordered the brisket, pork belly, bulgogi, nuk gan sal and Hawaiian chicken. Everything was good. Comes with a salad, banchan (love that they have my two faves - potato salad and fish cake), and salt/sesame oil. It was my friend's first Korean bbq experience and she liked it. Newly opened (end of April 2024) all you can Korean BBQ restaurant. Came at 5.30pm on a Saturday and it was the perfect time as the crowd started rolling in at 6pm. We got seated immediately, the server was on point and very attentive and didn't event need the server button which is common at Korean restaurants. In terms of sides dish/ Korean appetizers. 5/5. Loved everything about it especially the bean sprouts and glass noodle. As for the meat selections... it was too much to write about but enjoyed the brisket, beef tongue, beef rib fingers, bulgogi (like teriyaki flavor) Ambience wise. I come here often because it's closest to my house. Food is great and I love AYCE KBBQ. However I wish the waitresses were more nicer. Some are nice but there are some that are quite rude. I know they tend to get busy because it's AYCE. I hate when I ask for something it's like I'm bothering them. You can tell from the way they speak to us and their facial expressions. They seem to get annoyed and angry. They even tell me how to cook my food because sometimes I put too much on the grill. There are nicer ways to tell me that.. I'm all about service. If this place wasn't so close to my house I would not come here. Lucky I still give them my business. Came by for a Friday lunch. One flat price of $28.99 between lunch/dinner. A more Gen-like vibe (fun lights, many TVs). We asked for sesame oil on top of the salt from our server (not sure why this isn't defaulted in the dipping bowls), along with the already provided soy dipping sauce. They were out of beef belly, which was very surprising and disappointing :( The brisket was ordered instead was fine. Galbi was our fave cut. Beef finger meat (Nuk Gan Sal) had an off texture like liver, as if it had been overmarinated. Pork belly was fine, and pork jowl was fatty as expected. Our waitress would wander by infrequently, and our first order of pork jowl was missed (and delegated to the next round). However, after ordering, the meat would come out very quickly. As for sides, salad was fresh, corn cheese was good, japchae was fine, steamed egg had a burnt taste. Tofu soup was a bit watered down, with a few small cubes of tofu. I like Manna, but will likely only visit the Mesa location from now on. Speedier service, better quality meats, more of a homey feel even though this location is conveniently closer. read more

I had to go to the bathroom, but I just waited for my friends to get to the location because it's in all you can eat and we needed everybody in our party (4 people including me) to be at the front and pay. So as soon as we walk into the door, there's nobody in the front, which is fine. So I walk around the Blindspot so I can try to get somebody's attention that there's four people. As well as asking where the restroom was. A lady comes in the front and I ask her "hi where is the restroom? " The lady immediately questions me and asked "why do you need to use the restroom? " before I can even finish my sentence stating the obvious that I had to pee, she interrupts me saying "are you dining here? " I answered yes because this place has been somewhere that me and my friends have wanted to try for weeks. She finally gives in and tells me where the bathroom is. The lady is waiting for me at the front entrance and walking towards me saying "you obviously lied saying that you had a group of four dining with us when you just wanted to use the bathroom and leave. And you asked a very disrespectfully. Which if your parents raised you any better they would've taught you about some manners about simple things like asking about using the restroom. And clearly your group of four is not here so you were obviously lying that you just wanted to use the restroom which is for customers only." mind you I don't even know who this woman is to be bringing up my parents raising me. Which was already out of line and a terrible start to potential customers over a bathroom, which had no signs saying that the bathroom was for customers only. I just first took it as a misunderstanding and I told her we are planning to dine she cuts me off repeating herself and then it kicks in that it clearly was not a misunderstanding or anything so I just told her "you know we were gonna dine in here and we've been wanting to try this place but because of your terrible customer service we're not going to anymore." and proceeded to walk out. Mind you we didn't even get sat down yet or pay for anything either. And she starts to get the last word by saying I don't need you. Now my friends are now in the parking lot still trying to figure out the Money situation and the friend I was standing next to me, walked outside with them just to not be rude standing there. I told my friends in the parking lot that we are leaving and going somewhere else and proceeded to tell them what just happened over a bathroom. And maybe after 10 minutes we suggested a solution that we ask for a manager just to inform them about the really bad customer service. So we come back inside and it's the same woman that questioned me and accuse me of lying. Who proceeded to roll her eyes before asking me " why are you back and what do you want ?" I asked her if there was a manager that we could talk to about the terrible customer service. She immediately gets defensive and probably lying saying that she is the manager and asking what is the problem? I told her again about the terrible customer service. that she proceeded to give over a question of where the bathroom was. She interrupts and says " technically there was no customer service because you lied about dining with us because you lied about dining with us." Even though customer service starts as soon as a customer walks into the door. I'm not stupid about this kind of knowledge because I have a job myself working in the food industry and me and the friends are taking a three-year specialized business program at my school and we literally get taught and tested on this about customer service and business management. I told her bluntly that I did not believe that she was the manager because there's no way that she is a manager who is treating a customer this and keeps switching up the wording and cutting me off every time I talked. saying that her boss was gonna be arriving in half an hour and her boss would back her up on the way that she was treating me because I was being "disrespectful" which my friend said how they were outside, figuring out a Money issue and they were just waiting for me to use the bathroom and did not want to wait inside because they didn't want to crowd up the entrance, which is a really small entrance by the way. With all of the interruptions I'm not even raising my voice I'm not cussing at her and I'm being calm and collected about it all. She's saying how she's the manager and she doesn't have rules repeatedly said she doesn't regret the way she treated me and her boss could tell me the same thing she's telling me. we just left after she said to call the website and talk about it cuz she will be answering the phone. bummer because the food did look good and it was close reading the reviews about the services and food being great.
