Excellent food!! My husband and I are Thai food fanatics and this is the best one we've had in Maine. Extremely delicious, fresh, high quality, 100/10!!

I was around town looking for a Thai restaurant with great reviews. Pattaya Kitchen stood out! I was immediately greeted with smiling faces. The ambiance of the restaurant was beautiful, modern and upbeat. Beautiful bar and decor. I sat at the bar and was immediately given a menu. I had shrimp pad Thai as I always do lol and ordered a Thai ice tea to pair. The Pad Thai was sooo delicious. I ordered spice level 1 which was just right. The Thai ice tea was delicious. Creamy but refreshing and not too sweet. I skipped appetizers to make room for Mango Sticky Rice for dessert but was disappointed because there wasn't mango available:-( The host was very engaging and made sure I was good as well as the other patrons in the restaurant. She asked for our opinion on what channel to watch on the television at the bar which made me feel super comfortable in being there. I noticed that they're is a drive up window which would be great when I'm feeling lazy lol All in all, I definitely recommend and I will be back :-)

Husbands Drunken Noodles were good. Pad Se Ew noodles seemed very dry, as well as the chicken, with no brown sauce (although the restaurant says they put brown sauce in it). At other Thai restaurants, the Pad Sea Ew noodles seemed much better. The fried rice was good but the chicken seemed very dry. Ordered Thai tea, paid for it, but it never made it to my house via delivery. Service was good every-time I called in. Not sure on the ambiance of the restaurant, as I ordered delivery only. However, I am looking forward to trying this place in person!

Just over the bridge from the main tourism strip of Portland, this new gem has great food and a beautiful dining room and bar with plenty of space between seats. I have been twice, once for Pad Thai and once for the red curry with shrimp. Both were excellent and served hot and fresh. The owner is very courteous and helpful. Highly recommended.

Good food but a couple thoughts... 1. The bamboo shoots have a sour taste to them. Possibly add less frequently? 2. Seems to be an orange zest in a lot of the dishes, which isn't in the descriptions. Wasn't quite prepared for that. 3. Panang curry is unlike any that I've had. Seemed like more of a yellow curry minus the potatoes? Now for the positives... 1. Generous portions - great value and I will still enjoy all of the food we ordered, no question. 2. Holy moly, the drunken noodles were phenomenal and made me forget all about eh aforementioned bamboo shoots. 3. Spring rolls = highly recommend. Great source of fresh veggies. Stayed together, sauce was very much on-point (not too sweet or tart/sour?) what is that sauce? It's delish. 4. Friendly staff! I will try other items from this place again.

Recently when to this place and absolutely loved it! The atmosphere was refreshing and comforting. I had the Pho, house large and highly recommend it. Prior to Yelp, I've had Pho at other places around Portland Maine and in terms of portion, price, and quality this place is definitely at the top of the list. The broth was seasoned well, if you prefer it saltier add some Hoisin sauce and for spicy add Sriracha. I ordered mine at a medium, but added extra Sriracha for a stronger kick. The Pho comes with variety meats of rare beef, meatballs, and flank which just adds extra variety to the dish. Definitely filling and for the average person you'll most likely have extra to take home. Overall I'd give the Pho a n 8.5/10. Service was also great, waitress was kind and provided all services needed!

I've been back to Pattaya Kitchen for a few times and their foods and services were alway outstanding. Especially their authentic papaya salad and coconut salmon. Nice and clean environment and I highly recommend.

One of the biggest changes has been the complete turnover of the staff. All of the original people who made the place welcoming and enjoyable seem to be gone, and the difference has absolutely shown in both the service and overall experience. The food quality has become inconsistent and, at times, marginal compared to what originally brought us in. We've also dealt with repeated order mistakes, inattentive service, and an overall lack of attention to detail during several recent visits. Everyone understands that restaurants can have an off night, but this has become a pattern rather than an exception. What was especially disappointing was that we took the time to privately contact ownership about these concerns and never received any response at all. We weren't looking for compensation or special treatment, just acknowledgment and some indication that customer feedback mattered. Kume had a lot of promise when it first opened, which makes this frustrating to write. Unfortunately, based on our recent experiences, the quality control, consistency, and customer service are no longer close to where they once were.

We showed up with a small line waiting to get in/pick up orders. Once inside we waited a little bit for the staff to arrive to greet us, once they did we were told it would be a wait for a table or could sit at the kitchen bar right away. We snagged the two furthest bar seats with a slight peak into the kitchen watching food being prepared. They had QR codes around for you to scan to pull up the menu. Overall it's a small space as well as being a thin and narrow space. Be ready for a possible wait for a spot to open up. To start off we grabbed some cocktails, my wife got their Shiso Lucky (Roku Gin, shiso, lime) and I got Kochi Sunset (Shochu, yuzu, blood orange). Also for a starter we decided to have the Lobster Buns. Cocktails were great and well made. The lobster buns were a fantastic unique way of enjoying lobster. My wife did find the texture of the bun to be not ideal but overall enjoyed it. Entree wise we both decided on the duck ramen. We both enjoyed it very much, my wife could have done without the menma (fermented bamboo shoots). I wish it had more duck in it honestly. The duck was extremely tasty in both the normal meat and meatball. For our return eventually we will both likely try a different ramen to branch out. Overall a pretty solid overall experience. Some small changes could make me change it to a five star from my current four. It certainly fulfilled the ramen craving and I could see this being a no -brainer for stopping at during the brutal winters Maine has.

We chose the small but comfy wicker chairs at the bar and got glasses of wine - $2 off on happy hour! Our bartender was super sweet and helped us with our order. We got the double smash burger and Szechuan wings with Thai chili sauce on the side. Food came out hella quick. The wings were little but they were so *crispy* and the Szechuan seasoning was tasty and not too overpowering. It was rated as 3 chili peppers on the menu but I didn't really detect any spice. Thai chili was sweet, tangy, solid. Our burger was good. I imagine it's modeled after a Big Mac - had all similar ingredients - just better beef, pickles, etc. It went down easy. I think I was just missing more flavor, maybe a little greasier, something cravable. But hey, if you've been out drinking and you need a late night snack, I guarantee that puppy will hit the spot. Their cocktail menu is an attraction in and of itself. The more you read through it, the more hilarious and charming it is.
