Great place for the kiddos employees were nice. 10/10 recommend games also were fun celebrated my oldest sons birthday here 05/04/24 it was raining all day but so worth it. We went before in the summer and I will take the rain over the heat but it is an amazing experience. Thank you to the staff for being nice

My son got a gift card to Capital Edge for his 11th birthday back in January. We've had a full schedule until this last weekend so the boys were finally able to break out the long pants and do some legit paint-balling! Both boys, both age 11 were trying this out for the first time. I wasn't nervous until they safety speech from the equipment rental desk. I could see the terror in their eyes too! Too late to turn back now. I told them not to worry and get out there! We started the first game at 11:30, just before they shut it down from 12-1230 for lunch. That worked out perfect. They boys got their first game under their belts, got some courage behind those masks and had a bite to eat before going out to get serious and play some more. Best birthday gift ever! A few things to note: *Rentals come with a face mask that you can take home; thanks Covid. Lol *Paintballs only last about a month so use up your ammo or plan to come back again soon *Wear long pants and sleeves, layers even, to cushion the blows *Bring an ice chest and lunch and sit under the shade. Bring the whole family even if they aren't shooting. It's fun! *Snack bar is limited, drinks, chips, granola bars, so bring your own if you need more options. *Hydrate! It's hot in Sac and under all those layers. *Have fun and see you out there.

We went to celebrate my sons bday here and the kids had a blast. I think the adults had just as much fun if not more !! The staff was great and helpful throughout the whole process. They have referees out on the playing field to help run the games. They do offer drinks and snacks but it's ok to bring in your own. With all the running around you will do running away from being hit by the paint balls you will definitely need the bottles of water. This is a great outdoor activity to bring the kids to enjoy and for the adults as well. We will definitely be back to enjoy some more fun

Hope it helps! Entrance is accessible from Greenback Ln with $10 fee required per vehicle. 2 Parking lots available - 1 closer to boat launch area and another further lot that's more convenient for picnic areas and tables. Plenty of tables and area for lots of families to enjoy some water festivities! Have a big party or just want to lock down a few tables? Highly advise to come early. If you just need some space to place your mats down, it should be just fine. Incredible trails alongside the water for walking, jogging, and bike riding. Dogs are welcome but just make sure you pick up after them (I noticed a good number of dog poop near the water edge). Want to take a dip? Feel free! Quite cold but more than welcome to. Biggest reason why we came here? To see how the Kayak Rental system worked. Scan the QR code or visit the site to book your rentals and sign waivers. I was told they rented daily by a worker (young ones) but their online reservations just show weekends and random Wednesdays.. so good luck. Honestly Rental prices are higher than another spot we've been to, but this spot was much closer to home and easier to access. Price for convenience! We didn't go kayaking on this particular day but definitely plan to return with our own paddle board/Kayaks since it just makes sense to invest and go whenever we want versus rent a few kayaks with high rental feels. Who wants to return within 1 hr?! No way, you gotta stay out in the midst of nature for at LEAST a few hours! Pathway Tip: Walking or jogging? Stay on your left. Biking? Stay on your right. Standard Placer County rules. Great spot for families whether you want to picnic, swim, paddleboard, kayak, go for a nice walk, jog, or bike along gorgeous river waters scenery. Have fun!!

Nothing super exciting in this review, just one of those peaceful days you appreciate more as you get older lol. Now fair warning... that water is COLD cold when you first step in but once you're out there it's worth it. Even the ducks were just cruising around being friendly and minding their business. Sometimes you don't need much, just a board, some fresh air, and a little quiet.

For the longest time I did realize how extensive the roads and parking is into this area as generally my entrance into this park is off the Bike Trail. It makes a great stop for picnics or for a quick restroom breaks. Activities: There are a lot of open fields, picnic areas, and water areas to explore off the river. One thing is that I would caution exploring the waterways around here as they can be deceptively fast and dangerous. There is also a great handicap accessible fishing areas off the farthest parking lot. Great for working and watching the waterway from the Harold Richy memorial bridge. Cons: It is a self-pay park so important to keep in mind. Can be a little hard to find but is straight down Arden Way.

Lots of parking and the trail is easy to spot from the various lots they had available, There were a variety of picnic areas, bathroom facilities and walking trails. It's close to neighborhoods in Carmichael, which is nice for people who live nearby and can walk right over. Access to the bike trail was my main reason for visiting and the trail itself warrants its own review. Minus one star, as having an option to pay entry by credit card would be nice. I mean, who has $7 exact change that they carry with them these days? Anyway, I would likely use this park again for a jumping off point for trail rides. Nice, clean, scenic suburban park.

When I first walked in, I immediately noticed all of the natural light coming into the room. It really added to the outdoorsy ambiance. The employee at the front desk was super friendly and was quick to get me set up. As for equipment, grabbing shoes was easy (pulled them out of the storage cubes to the left of the front desk), and they provided a harness as well. I'm not sure if the staff normally does the walkthrough on tying a proper knot, since my friend and his friend did it for me. Nonetheless, I do like that they have that area separate from the main climbing area. Helps to take the pressure off a little bit if you're new. There seemed to be dozens of different climbing paths to choose from, with signs at the bottom indicating the level of difficulty. I found that particularly helpful since, as a newbie, everything looked hard. Also, the people I observed and interacted with on the floor were extremely friendly. Really great vibes coming from the community here. The pricing, based on information from my friend, seemed reasonable, since it included the gym and classes. However, I live in Elk Grove, so I probably will stick to visiting this place only now and then. Recommend giving it a try, though!

When we walked in she was nice but our waiver was filled out incorrectly, which was on us for not reading properly but her tone was nasty. She gave us attitude at first but we let it slip since we were wrong. However when we went back with our CORRECT waiver. She started being super rude to my friend who was stuttering a bit. The reason why he was stuttering was because as we gave her our name she kept giving us like looks like we were speaking another language or something. The final straw was when she loudly and rudely cut off my friend just to say " SORRY? I cant understand you." First of all I don't understand why staff cant be patient with new comers. Second my friend was speaking perfectly fine with some minor stuttering, if she cant even handle that the she shouldn't be working. Third, we are minors just trying to have fun so I don't understand why she was acting like the child. Also to clarify one more time, we are new to this so we don't understand some rock climbing terms, when we were asked about the payment and equipment we thought we could buy the whole bundle. As I was about to tell her we wanted the bundle she mentioned something we didn't understand so we asked her what that meant. Instead of explaining she repeated the word again but loudly, like that explains what it is. Instead of being a patient kind person she pushed her tasks to the sweet man who was KIND ENOUGH to explain everything to us, he was patient and understanding when I said sorry that we were confused. The rock climbing experience is fun, but the service was horrible coming from that lady with a bob cut at the front. Never coming here again and would not recommend to anyone tbh. I hope this reaches the boss or workers and I hope you guys become more patient with new customers.
