Came here after a bad experience at the Jessup / Baltimore location. I will say this location was a lot less crowded, the workers were friendlier, and the wait times were shorter. Both locations did work together, to ensure my family had a better experience this time. The way the races were setup, my son would've been racing on one track while I was on another, and I wanted to watch him, the workers had no problems pushing us to the next race to accommodate everyone. Overall, maybe k1 locations just have exceptionally small tracks compared to other karting places we have been to. It seems as if k1 as a brand needs a revamp. Bigger circuits, more menu options (something edible for adults) and more games in their "arcades". And perhaps some type of specials because the pricing is a little steep for what you get. Lastly, please prioritize the safety briefing for everyone. The amount of people no braking and full on crashing into others is crazy, or the ones who have never driven before at all. I think if everyone at least gets the bare minimum briefing it'll be more enjoyable for all. Like allowing the karts to get to full speed, which many do not because of the racing of others or the computer system

Do NOT waste your money but more importantly your valuable time at this awful establishment! My wife and I were looking for a fun experience to share with our teenage daughter and son along with our daughter's boyfriend so we thought this would be a good idea....we were wrong! We had been planning this for a bit and we were trying to get info before we made the hour long drive to Wilmington. We had called multiple times and could never get a human to answer the phone for some questions. We called the morning of our planned visit at 10:05 am after their opening at 10:00 am and the recording told us " due to the high call volume" yada yada.....red flag numero uno! We took the trip and drove the hour to this horror show of a business. Upon arrival, I needed to use the men's room, I opened the door to the restroom and was absolutely appalled and taken back by the smell of sewage and urine. There was no running water in any of the sinks and the toilets and urinals were absolutely disgusting. I've worked many construction sites over my years and I've been subjected to some less than stellar port-a-potty's but none of them could ever prepare me for what I walked into at K1. I wouldn't let my worst enemy touch their skin to these disease infested, urine and fecal covered toilets! If I had to do a bowel movement, I probably would've gone out behind the dumpster next to the front door! Wilmington board of health are you reading this??? Turns out the only running water was the water bubbler in the lobby where I witnessed multiple people rinsing their hands under! Disgusting!!! After this bathroom debacle, we moved on to the mismanagement /racing aspect of our evening. We intended to do the 3 race package , we signed up, paid the fee and then we were told it would be an hour to an hour and a half wait.....ok that's not bad even though it didn't appear to be very busy. We were all excited to race and have a nice evening together.....we ordered two $13 dollar pretzels while we waited . I think one of the employees had to make the dough from scratch since it took almost 30 minutes for us to receive our order. After tasting the pretzels, I actually believe that these pretzels may have been dragged across the bathroom floor before they were given to us.....absolutely disgusting and gross! Ok, are you still with me??? Good because we are now two hours into this ordeal still waiting to do what we actually came to this place for. In the 2 + hours of waiting, we decided that we wanted a refund for 2 out of the 3 races because at this point, it was almost 8:15pm and we arrived at this place at 5:30pm! I didn't want to give anymore money or time to this place. The attendants at the front desk kept telling us that they were running behind and it would probably be a little longer! Just before 8:30 we finally got our chance to drive the go-karts. Let me tell you that the wait and all the crap ( literally) beforehand was not worth the 6 minutes of driving. This place needs to take a serious look into how they are running things......a complete waste of time and money spent on a Saturday. Look at the reviews people , not just mine but all the others as well and take note on the manager's response to all of them. They are obviously aware of how poorly they are running this place and it appears they do not care to do anything about it! Do yourself a favor and go to Apex in Marlboro instead and save your valuable time and money! This place should be closed and hopefully will close if they keep these poor standards up. Do NOT go to this K1 racing location, they are an utter disgrace!

You need to wait 3hours first then wait another 20 minutes. Lack of management. Horrible experience. U will know what I mean when you are there. Good luck

Worst kart place around. Not worth the trip. Slow down the cart. Stop the race. Pathetic. Spent over 150 buck. Waste of money.

    Is there an age limit?

There really isn't a age limit. It's mostly based on height. 48" is minimum. You are in the junior karts 48"-53". 54" and up you are in adult karts. Speeds vary on skill level as well

My family and I went on Sunday, August 16th and had the time of our lives! We had been here last year around this time, as well! Got there at 11:00am or so, and left at around 7:45pm. This just shows how much there is to do here, and how great it is for everyone! Some of us wanted to do the smaller rides, (the dragon (a kiddie ride) coaster, wave blaster, over the rainbow, and more!) and others wanted to do the big ones (untamed, yankee cannonball, Boston tea Party), and everyone appreciated and was happy with the rides that they did! For lunch, we went to the Sons of Liberty tavern, which is just across from Boston Tea party, the big flume ride. (Don't worry though, it's just out of the splash zone!) It was a little pricey, but everyone loved their food. For snacks around the park, you've got a lot of options. We got a bag of popcorn, Italian ice, and strawberry dole whip! (since they were unfortunately out of pineapple) Line-whise, the longest one we waited in was for Yankee Cannonball, which was around a 45 minute line. (The ride was awesome and worth it, though.) So, overall, we have had great experiences with Canobie Lake Park!! Thanks for reading, -A PRO TIP:: Once you enter the park and go through security, make sure to grab a map near guest services at the entrance and plan out your route a little. It helps!

The fact their ice cream was homemade made this our destination on a warm Friday early evening. The windows were steadily busy but there really wasn't a wait. The young lady who greeted and served us was very sweet. My friend and I decided to share a large half banana walnut and half coffee brownie in a cup topped with a sugar cone. The grounds are clean and welcoming so we sat at some benches under a big umbrella to the right of the building facing the go cart track with my dog. Both ice cream flavors were delicious and very creamy not not too sweet or heavy. The banana flavor was not artificial tasting at all which is usually the case with most banana products and it was chock full of big walnuts. The coffee brownie was also full of fresh brownie pieces and though I could taste a hint of coffee I have had stronger tasting coffee ice creams before. At $5.36 including tax, you can't beat it! The best part was hands down the workshop though- we had 30 mins of a curated micro build and we both had the best time- the master builder was kind, and encouraged creativity while giving lots of structure. Though we enjoyed the one in New York too, this location minimized the sort of underwhelming initial areas and focuses much more on an open-concept space with multiple activities and building rooms. While my kids are too old for Duplo, it was really nice to see a strong focus on the larger blocks to involve younger kids in the experience. We enjoyed the laser maze activity, even though it was hardly a maze at all. It would have been nice if there was a staff person supervising the activity though - there seemed to be a great deal of confusion with how it was supposed to work. We figured it out largely by seeing others do it incorrectly. Otherwise everything was great - the kids loved the VR game, the building activities, and the impressive pre-built LEGO creations.
