It's a no-nonsense Pakistani-Indian restaurant. We opted for this place since most of the restaurants in this area were closed or about to close. They are open till late night. There was a significant wait because of the number of orders. They gave us a table only after making sure that they could serve us that night. Menu was handed out in advance so that we can make up our mind about the choices. We ordered the Chicken Biriyani, Karahi Chicken and the Naan. The food was served around 20 mins later. Absolutely loved the good. Chicken biriyani- delicious. One of the best Pakistani biriyanis I recently had. Karahi Chicken was a little oily, but fantastic. Perfect combination for the soft Naan. Ambiance of this place is exquisite. Loved the whole set up and the arrangement. The service was really good, except the wait time. The staffs were friendly. They made sure that our questions were answered. I will definitely go back to this place when I crave for Pakistani food. Top place! read more

Well, this is our second order from here in the last month. My wife ordered a first dinner for $120 for the family it was OK, the second time we ordered two chicken beryani and a butter chicken when we brought it home the beryani had few small chicken pieces the rest is all rice with fried onion on top. We call it and complained where is the chicken they told us to come there. My wife went there and asked for the manager, they said they don't have a manager. She explained to them about the order is mostly rice the worker said we have the orders in a ziplock bag and when the customer orders we put it in a box so the chef must have put a little chicken. Say what? Ziplock bag Hot food in a ziplock bag what the heck, is that even healthy? are they trying to speed up food preparation what else happens to the food before you serve it to us. I am not paying $20 for a plate in a ziplock bag. They said they refunded two entries for us but this is the second day I don't see the refund in my card may be it takes longer to refund. I don't care about the refund I am more concerned about the ziplock bag. I did not lie about them but I feel my duty to let everyone now what we experienced so that every customer is aware. read more

Great Pakistani restaurant near totem lake. We always come here late night with a large party and they're able to accommodate use pretty quickly and well. The portion sizes are decent enough to share despite the prices being on the higher end of things. I recommend the Bihari and biryani but the butter chicken/chicken tikka masala wasn't too bad either. The mix grill plate only comes with a small sampling of things so won't try that next time. We've also had the handy chicken which is solid. They sometimes will give us free birthday desserts! The service here is pretty good and the owners are very kind. for large parties, they're able to split the check up to 6 ways only. One thing that three us off was the included 18% gratuity for large parties. They made no mention of this and it was not shown on the small screen when we went to pay so a lot of us added on extra 15% tip which was annoying. I would suggest the management to relay that information to their servers so the customers can know when ordering and while paying. read more

We had a wonderful dinner here. Al was our waiter and explained the entire menu to us. He was gracious in sharing his time and knowledge and made great recommendations. We enjoyed chatting with AL about Pakistan and learning about the food. We ordered Vegetable Samosa, Chicken Malai Boti, Beef Nihari, Chicken Handi, Palak Paneer, Garlic Naan, and Aloo Tarkari. Mango lassi and chai tea. The meat was cooked to perfection, tender, melt in your mouth. The flavors were lights out. The Palak Paneer was better than what we've eaten in India. Every dish had a unique flavor and complimented the other. We lived in LA and travel extensively. We have been fortunate to experience many wonderful meals. This is hands down one of our top ten. We went there for dinner on Sunday and everything we ordered was tasted great - was perfectly cooked with right amount of spice, especially loved their Chicken Karahi and Garlic Naan (it was probably the best garlic naan I have had in Seattle area). We were deciding on what dessert to get - that's when owner came to chat and offered us to taste all their desserts on the house! Overall - a great place for Indian/Pakistani food on the eastside. Food was through the roof. Beyond my expectations. Tried the Butter Chicken for the first time at any establishment. And i don't think I'll be going anywhere else for it. Alamdar suggested it with their Garlic Naan. And it felt like with each item I tried , my taste buds just enjoyed the food that much more. Full of flavor. But not over the top. Def a comfort food dish as Alamdar explained it. Its also served with their house specialty rice. I added that to the leftover Butter Chicken sauce since i devoured the Garlic Naan within opening my bag. Service was super informative. They WANT to speak to their guests. Very welcoming. I would describe the ambiance as the smell that comes from the kitchen and it will remind you of some master cook nonna's kitchen. Cant say one wrong thing about this place. Ordered to go chicken karahi and chicken kabob. Ordered "MEDIUM" spicy. Food came out with the check and it said on the check "MILD". I was reassured by the woman at the front desk that its still "MEDIUM". Of course, when I got home and we tasted the food it wasn't even salty, let alone there was no spice on it whatsoever. Chicken karahi had no chicken meat. It was literally a few bone ends and some chicken cartilage. I will never go back to this place. Ever since the new ownership the food quality is just not the same. This place is turning into Americanized Indian food restaurant and has no authenticity anymore. read more

Updated review: Gave them a second chance. Utter disappointment. I got one order of seekh kebab. For $20. They only give two kebabs. For 20 dollars. I guess the positive reviews for this place are from people who have enough money to not care about the rip off. For normal people, the amount of meat that they give per order is stealing from the customer. I even heard a group that was dining in tell the server they want extra meat in their order because their last time in, they had more bone than meat The server said it was the way the vendor cut the meat...but the cooks and the restaurant still served that rip off amount of meat, so it wasn't the vendor's fault. The taste of the food was excellent. The service was great. My favorites were the chicken corn soup, brain masala, and the seekh kabab. The lassi was good, but a little pricey. Overall great experience. Would have given 5 stars if the prices were a bit lower, but of course we are living in a time of high inflation. We got the paneer pakora, daal tarka, & chicken tikka boti (boneless breast). The daal tarka was easily the star of the show. It's a love-and-hate relationship for this restaurant. The food is good, but I can't get over their prices. Even the chicken and fries are $13. The combo kabab used to be $40 and is now $49. That's a big jump!! I used to order to go once a week and now I order once a month. The curries are good and again, it's pricy and the portions are small. I was a fan of the older location and tried take out from their new location for the first time. The flavor of the food is still good, definitely authentic Pakistani taste which is hard to find in Seattle area. Unfortunately the butter chicken and chicken tikka leg dishes left a lot to be desired. For the price they were dissappointing. The butter chicken literally had 4 small cubes of chicken in it - I counted them. And the chicken tikka leg had one very small leg quarter, almost like a cornish hen size it was that small. On the other hand the lamb saag, biryani, and naans were well portioned. All the food tasted good. However having spent over $100 felt like we didn't get our moneys worth. read more

New owners are absolutely blind when it comes to running a business. They get you the bread beforehand to let it get cold while they take 30 minutes to make your dish. They have a weird process for paying/ordering because their waiters apparently only bring you food, not take your order.
