Decent food for the price, but the customer service is horrible. I was charged $10 extra and when I complained the waiter was trying to prove me wrong until he clearly double checked the menu. Great menu;delicious flavorful food. I had the koobideh wrap, my friend had the lamb. Both were moist and juicy. I will return soon to explore the menu some more. Best Persian food in Marin, and better than most places I've tried in the Bay Area in general. Especially love the koobideh and the mast o mussir. I didn't check that everything was there before I left, and when I got home, most of the order was missing. Why five stars then??? Because of the way they handled the mistake. I was frustrated, it had been a long day... and my family was hungry. But the positive, gracious and accommodating attitude of the staff made it all OK. Fantastic stop after quite a few hours on the road! We ordered a family plate, choosing the filet and veggie kabobs as our extras. The food was enough for 3-4 people, but hungry porkers that we were, my husband and I did a pretty good job of working our way through 4 kabobs, grilled tomatoes, rice, salad and an appetizer of flatbread with feta, basil and mint- delicious! With drinks and baklava, the meal totaled $60 which I don't mind paying for the two of us when the food and service are worth it. Waitress was great, very knowledgeable about the food, any dietary restrictions and was more than willing to answer questions. Got family meal B that had six kabobs (3 kibbeh style then we got one chicken one lamb and one steak). It came with salad and rice (very abundant). We also got the trio appetizer. Hummus was delish. Both were delicious. My husband inquired to see if the restaurant had any tahdig (crispy rice - not on the menu due to limited availability), and we were in luck! We both ordered the koobideh special which came with a beef kabob, rice and salad. All was very fresh, seasoned very well.
