I really want to give this place 4 or 5 stars because the food can be quite good, and the outside seating is lovely (when weather permits). The papaya salad, and the tofu satay are our favorites. The main entrees are so so, and I agree with other reviews saying the flavors sometimes are bland and not seasoned authentically. The real problem, though, is that the employees are just plain mean. I mean straight up like you are bothering them if you ask for anything. And, like another person said in their review, they literally throw the plates on your table and walk away. This has happened to us with multiple servers. They don't ask if you need anything else or how is everything ...they literally do a drive by to drop the food and keep going. I have seen servers drop off food to a table with a smile, and then the moment they turn their head from the seated party, they roll their eyes and rush back to the kitchen. It feels kind of cringe, you know, to feel like these people hate us. So weird. Last night, I wanted to ask that the seasonings were for the tofu satay. and I had to flag down a server, to which he seemed like I was bothering him with my question. I tried to warm him up by sharing how much we like that dish. He did a quick smile, then took a deep, exasperated breath as he turned and rushed off immediately after answering the question. There is no warmth here. I get that they are busy, but this is something I haven't experienced anywhere else, and to this degree. Yikes.

I met some friends here for lunch. I had the BBQ pork. It came with rice and a salad. It was very good. The restaurant had comfortable seating and the acoustics were very good. I like when I'm able to hear people talk to me without a lot of noise in the background. The staff were very friendly, but one asked about a certain appetizer that my friend wanted to have they just said no they don't have it anymore. They didn't offer any other suggestions or show us a menu that had the appetizers.

What a gem! The food is absolutely delicious, with generous portions that stand out compared to other Thai restaurants I have been to. The flavors are incredibly authentic, making it a true treat for Thai food lovers like my Thai husband and I. The service was outstanding. Our server was warm, welcoming, and attentive, ensuring we had everything we needed. I especially appreciated being seated right in front of the fireplace--it added a cozy touch, perfect for a date night with my hubby. We had Panang Curry with Chicken, Fried Tofu appetizers and Sticky Rice. The atmosphere had an open-air feel, with well-spaced tables that provided a comfortable distance from other diners. The noise level was moderate, allowing for easy conversation without feeling too quiet or too loud. There is a nice sized parking lot, so this is not an issue.

Very homey inside seating area. I got the pad Thai and it was alright. I've had better but it was still good enough for me to not complain. To be fair I was only here for like 20 mins since I was in a rush but staff was friendly and understanding. I'd say overall solid restaurant. Will I come back? Yes so I can see the outdoor patio and be one with nature while eating Thai food :)

R'noh Thai Larkspur CA Sun 9/17/23 © Thai place is packed! Dinner! Hungry! Tom Kha Kai, Spicy Pad Kee Mow! Gloria Ferrer Blanc de Noirs Rosé! Searched for Thai around Corte Madera, R'noh came up in Larkspur, let's give it a try! As I stepped in, it became clear how popular this restaurant is! Feels like home, comfortable, with two dining rooms, many locals were picking up their take outs, others dining in, atmosphere inviting, waiters busy serving, place is bustling! I had to wait a bit for a window table. Thank you Joy! First things first, it's the thirst! Glass of water with orange slice in it and a bottle of Gloria Ferrer Blanc de Noirs Rosé Champagne! Joy brought it over, served & poured! Mmm bubbly! When eating Thai, must have Tom Kha Kai! Your choice of protein, Coconut Milk with lemon grass, galangal, mushroom & lime juice! Chicken Tom Kha Kai and Gloria Ferrer go finely together, as I found out! Next up, Lamb Curry with Chunks of tender lamb, potatoes & vegetables in yellow curry, served with cucumber salad, mild spicy, mighty tasty! 25 bucks. Ordered Coconut Rice, which could be a dish in itself, honestly! So delicious with some berries resembling raisins but not, I was so busy chewing, forgot to ask what it was! Get large portion 5, you'll thank me later! Cucumber salad comes with your Lamb Curry, very refreshing accompaniment! Spicy Pad Kee Mow, it's a noodle dish with your choice of protein, I got the safe chicken LOLz! Stir fried wide rice noodles with chili, garlic, bell pepper, basil, bean sprouts, egg, chicken 17 in this combination! All in all, a memorable dinner at the end of tumultuous Sunday! Note to myself, come straight here next time, don't waste time searching, picking and choosing:-) *Since it costs a lot to win, and even more to lose You and me bound to spend some time wond'rin' what to choose Goes to show, you don't ever know Watch each card you play and play it slow Wait until that deal come round Don't you let that deal go down, no, no [ Review #783 w 8 pix on Sep 21, 2023 ] Gloria Ferrer Blanc de Noirs Rosé! If I lived in the area I would come here regularly. Probably one of the most delicious thai food I have had in a while. They were able to modify our order to make it vegan and everything was just delicious- the papaya salad, panang curry and pad kee mow; bursting with flavor. But the star of the show was the Tom Kha. The best Tom Kha I've had. Seriously, I need to find out what they put in it. I will be back whenever I am in the area.

We ordered the Pun Khao Poon platter (lettuce wraps) with pork springrolls, pad thai with chicken, and the mango salad. The portions were very generous. The mango salad was the highlight of the meal, followed by the lettuce wraps. The dressing in the mango salad had just the right combination of sweet and tangy. We loved the addition of mint for the wraps, but I personally don't care for perilla leaves. The fish sauce accompanying the wraps was delicious and was also great over the pad thai, which was a bit on the bland side without it. Service was a bit less than perfect. When one diner asked for water, only her glass was refilled when another glass was obviously in need also; minor overlook, though. The one thing that was a bit disturbing was the noise level. It was extremely loud, so it was really difficult to hear each other talk. It didn't help that the party at the next table had a woman who cackled loudly when she laughed. It was a relief to step outside after we ate. Not sure what can be done to help with this, but it did make dining there not as pleasant as it could be. Even with this, I'd definitely return if I was in the area.

Ordering online is super easy and smooth, which makes grabbing food on the go really convenient. Ambiance & Interior Design What really stood out to me is how thoughtfully the space is designed. The lighting creates a warm, romantic vibe without feeling overdone. It's not a huge place, but that actually works in its favor--it feels cozy and comfortable. There are two distinct dining areas: one with standard tables and chairs, and another with built-in benches and tables that adds an extra layer of intimacy. Food Quality The food is incredible. The yellow curry with chicken was rich and flavorful, and the pad see ew was just as satisfying--perfectly cooked with great balance. Service The service is very attentive, and everyone there is genuinely kind and welcoming, which makes the whole experience even better. Overall Whether you're dining in or ordering takeout, My Thai delivers on both atmosphere and quality. Definitely a spot I'll keep coming back to.

Unfortunately, this was one of the worst food experiences I've had, and I could not safely eat the meal. The order included two Fresh Young Thai Coconuts, both of which appeared spoiled. They were not fresh and had signs consistent with improper storage, including an off taste. The two Coconut Ice Creams were also spoiled. Both had a light pink discoloration on top and tasted noticeably sour. I ordered two Pad See Ew dishes, and the beef in both had a rotten, musty odor and were pink which did nit seem fresh.. The most concerning issue was with the proteins. My Shrimp Pad Thai contained a small piece of completely raw chicken, which was unexpected and raised serious food safety concerns. The Chicken Satay appeared cooked on the outside, but the inside was still raw and undercooked. The Green Curry was also disappointing. The vegetables were excessively wilted and appeared to be past their freshness. The curry itself had an unusual greasy layer on top and a thick, goopy consistency that was unlike any green curry I've had before. Because of the number and severity of the food quality and food safety issues, I did not feel comfortable consuming any of the meal and had to discard the entire order. This experience was extremely disappointing. I hope the restaurant reviews its food handling, storage, and quality control procedures to help prevent similar issues for other customers.

It's the kind of place that makes you want to keep coming back and support a local business. The only reason my visit took an emotional turn was unexpectedly seeing the owner of a nearby construction business. Knowing what I know, I instantly felt uneasy and uncomfortable. In a small town filled with so many families and children, that feeling hit even harder. I immediately knew I would never support that business again. Thankfully, that experience doesn't reflect this construction business at all. The business itself was wonderful, and the employees made me feel welcome from the moment I walked in.
