What a freaking joke! This place was all over social media and my best friend wanted to try so we went. She loved it I hated it! The place is gross and dirty! Bathrooms OMG dirty for females come on lady's have some class. The floors the windows and tables ! Like why don't you guys change the table cloths after each group! The parking lot is in the back not big! Bruuuh let's not talk about the storage container in the back parking lot that is containing food! I cannot believe this place is even open! The service is zero! They are expensive to be honest! Over priced! 18% gratitude is all ready including on your bill. They don't have too many options for plates but here are the pictures. Never again ! Valet $7.00. But there's parking guys it's not worth it! Also the place soo gross the valet guys are literally smoke hooka sitting down and driving your car!

Probably the best Lebanese food you we'll ever have! The food was so fresh and flavorful leaving an amazing taste. The owner and workers were very friendly and polite making sure me and my friend were well taken care of. I will definitely be returning back soon!

Kababji is always a pleasure to go to. The food is always hot and fresh. The ingredients are top notch. The service is always good and the waiters are always helpful and nice. That being said it's definitely not cheap but for me this is the best food on Brookhurst. Perfect place for a birthday dinner or to celebrate small events and accomplishments. Last time they had new desserts and the raspberry one was amazing. The mango one was really good too but the raspberry one with their mint tea was a perfect end to a great meal.

+5/5 Authentic food served hot off the grill in a clean , modern environment with friendly staff and valet parking . They seem to make their own bread and the meats were succulent. Except for the beef kofta which was a bit dry, but I suspect it was a one off Served with rice , garlic and pita . Loved it . Also have hookah, shisha. Their toum (garlic sauce) could use a bit more garlic and less lemon. It was missing that zingggg from pure garlic . The price is right. The food pictured here costs about $25 for 4 skewers. Will definitely be back asap. Highly recommend it .

The food looked really appealing, but unfortunately, the taste was really bad. The portion was extremely small for the price, and honestly, the price was just too high for what we got. Service Good You still smell the hookah smoking inside the non smoking area Not right place for kids

Ordered their grilled chicken platter for takeout with hummus and baba ghanoush. The portions were a little smaller than other Mediterranean restaurants. The baba ghanoush with the tomatoes were a little off putting as well, but the chicken tasted good and was grilled properly.

I just wanted to show love to Yasmeen for helping me out today for my lunchtime. She provided great service and the food was even better. This place is definitely a go to Location for lunch. Highly recommended. Coming here at nighttime feels like you're at a restaurant in the middle of downtown Beirut if you're looking for a date, Spot or a Spot to hang out with friends come here at night. Make sure you have reservation on the weekend.

Came here with friends and my husband, brother-in-law on a Saturday night, which was really busy. We ordered 20 of the shishh kabobs plus appetizers and the chicken. The chicken was the best for sure. that's what we will get next time. However, food took a very long time and when it came, the food was not fully cooked so we had to send it back for the kebabs which took another at least 30 to 40 minutes to be ready during all this time the chicken had not came still so when we left, we had so much food with us and we Didn't really eat at that point considering it took so much time to be ready and kids weee ready to leave. Will consider going again and only order the chicken, but definitely expect better timing to serve the food. Salad was really good, bread and appetizers

We reserved a table for 6 as it was recommended by a friend of ours and our overall experience was disappointing. Cons: 1- we couldn't find the restaurant as there is another kababji on Google maps across the street. The restaurant sign which should guide you towards the end of an alley isn't as visible as it should be. 2- Our server was somewhat rude and when my friend asked for an extra set of utensils she said: " Ive already given you a set" which is something Ive never seen before 3- The appetizers didn't have any spoons in them and although we ordered a family deal we couldn't eat and had to wait (considering what happened as mentioned in #2) 4- The server forgot to bring our bread and we had few dished of Mezze and no bread to eat it with 5- The kebobs looked good but they were very overcooked. I know that most Arab/Lebanese restaurants offer well-done kebobs as it resonates with their taste pallets but this was another level and in a way close to being burnt. Tip: they can at least ask the customer if this over cooked is sth they like or not Pros: 1- A lively restaurant 2- The appetizers especially their Babaganoush, hummus, and Lebne was super delicious

They always do a great job with decorating when they have a new theme in effect, and the Great Gatsby décor is no exception. The room is filled with lots of gold streamers, hanging gold light fixtures, art deco artwork, Roman columns, etc. Reservations are highly recommended. We checked in at the host stand with Emma who was very friendly. She seated us immediately at the bar as requested. We enjoy talking with the bartenders and watching them make drinks. Ruben was our bartender and he was excellent in all aspects. I started out with Between the Sheets from the Gatsby menu (rum, cognac, orange, lemon, $18). Rum and cognac is a great combo. This cocktail is spirit forward and well balanced. She started out with a Bartender's Reserve (you call the spirit and flavor profile, and the bartender crafts something special for you, $20). She gave parameters of no hard liquors like whiskey or cognac, not sweet, and not refreshing (i.e. no cucumber). Ruben made the most amazing gin based cocktail. Some of the ingredients he mentioned were plum, passion fruit, pineapple, lime, and a bit of chartreuse and soda. It was complex and perfectly balanced, with great flavors. We have been here many times, and he even served it in a unique tiki mug that we've never seen here before. Now it was my turn to put Ruben to the test. I also wanted a Bartender's Reserve, and I told him to use any spirit as long as the drink focuses on banana or apricot flavor. He went to work, and after a short time a beautiful frosted glass was served to me. I forget all of the ingredients he mentioned, but it was rye based with banana liqueur, a small foam top, and fresh shaved cinnamon on top. The banana was perfectly present with the rye at a nice level. This was a home run all the way. Of course, she wanted another magical creation, and Ruben went to work yet once again. She was served a beautiful yellow cocktail, and he even hand cut a little lemon fish garnish. It was mezcal based with yuzu, elderflower, mango, and lime. It was perfectly balanced, the smoke was at the perfect level, and again it had a great mix of flavors. There was some left over, and he even gave that to her in a chilled side bottle with its own baby's breath flower garnish. It's so fun to watch their bartenders create something from scratch, grabbing various bottles, mixing, tasting, adjusting, and then garnishing and serving. In addition to Ruben's delicious creations tonight, Adrian and Sergio have also made us delicious custom crafted cocktails on several occasions. We will definitely be returning soon for some of their new upcoming themes.

Date night for mom and dad away from the kids type of night. Very mellow and chill. Small but cozy…read more I loved the Gatsby decor. We chose to be seated at the bar. Service was decent. I really liked the clarified strawberry drink, similar to strawberry and cream. I ordered a drink after that unfortunately forgot the name (photo attached with a tall glass) but there was no special cocktail craft taste to it. Just hard liquor taste and undrinkable :( the bartender kindly offered another drink. Unfortunately none of the food was the least bit good. Steak and fries was ordered medium rare and cooked to medium well with what seemed like no seasoning was on there at all. Crab cake was just ok and the slaw beneath it was drenched in a vinaigrette that was just sour and unpleasant. And the Mac and cheese, as we were very hopeful and looking forward to, was probably the blandest Mac and cheese we ever had. We asked the lady bartender for salt and she handed us, no exaggeration (and you guys will probably think I am) 10 grains of salt in it and said "looks like there's a lil something you could still get out of there" My jaw dropped. But yeah. The shredded meat on top of the Mac and cheese was cooked beyond the point of edible. That one was unfortunately sent back bc we just couldn't eat it. We were bummed over all mostly about the food.
