It was my first time at this place. I want to support local small business during the pandemic. The restaurant is simple & well decorated. I love Mediterranean food & have had it often. However, The food here was ok. The falafels & pita bread were cool on touch. The dish consisted of taziki & tahini sauces. It was only when I went up there requesting the sauces that come along w/ the dish, they gave it to me. Also the dish I ordered consisted of fried cauliflower & that was missing.The service is poor. The ppl are confused, poor communication & unorganized. The worse part, I asked for hot sauce & he gave me the Mexican hot sauce bottle from another table. The food was good enough, and the prices were fair. The owner or manager was courteous when asking about our meals. The kid at the counter practicing his dead-eyed angry stare left a very bad impression. Since it was present both time I interacted with him, I guess it's sort of his thing, but I don't need it. The food lacked flavor and the falafel was basic. The hummus didn't even taste like real hummus. I have tried several Mediterranean places in the Austin area and this does not match up to what others offer. Even in Round Rock you can find better. I should have known when they served a Philly Cheese Steak I was going to be disappointed. This new restaurant seems to be going through growing pains. Food taste is max 2.5 star for us, we hv been eating at middle eastern/Mediterranean restaurants around US and internationally as much as we can, huge fans. We were hoping for more authentic taste and feel, however turned out to be ultra causal quick bite Lebanese cuisine. Basic American Etiquettes of Greeting and or smiling at Customers or inviting them back seemed missing, plastic ware is of ultra cheap quality may be from Dollar Tree. Hummus contrary to some good reviews was tasteless. Ordered shawarma sandwich n Shawarma plate avg. taste rice was cold, mgr. offered to make new plate was very respectful and apologetic but when the food came the plate was lighter than before so the portions seems inconsistent. Being the new Restaürant in a good part of town and neighborhood I feel manager should come up to the table and offer any help or advice with menu and seek customer reviews to help them grow but these guys seem set in their ways. Hopefully they will adapt for better and therefore We wish them the best and will review again in a month or so. Also, missing on some nice middle eastern music. read more

My family and I ate at this new Mediterranean restaurant last weekend. The grilled Kafta kabab(ground meat) wrap was especially delicious. It was well-seasoned, you can see and taste the herbs in the meat. The grilled chicken was also very good; they were out of the lamb. This is a brand new place that's clean, spic and span. Idk if it's the quality, the taste or what but they always forget to include something or the other in our Uber eats order. Also worst chicken shawarma I've ever had. Ordered this place on Uber Eats and MAN did it hit the spot!!! I ordered the chicken shawarma plate and it was perfect because it had a lot of chicken, basmati rice (which was phenomenal,) salad (this was interesting--it reminded me of pico de gallo but like a Mediterranean version, it was amazing,) hummus, and pita (I especially appreciated this because I initially was nervous I was going to have to pay extra extra for a side of pita+hummus as other restaurants do this.) We topped our order off with the baklava fingers and they were amazing! This place is a great deal for its quality and I highly recommend. I hope to visit in person soon, but all I can say is the food at this place is incredible! read more

Ordered thru grub hub for delivery and they forgot all the sauces and Kibbeh. I even paid for an extra garlic sauce and Taziki. I can't even reach them by phone. Falafels would be good if they had included the tahini. Everything else was just ok. read more

Ordered the Lebanese Mezze - Description from their website - "Tabbouli, baba ganouj, hummus dip, dolma, fried cauliflower, falafel, pita bread, tahini sauce and taziki sauce." Baba Ganouj was SPOT ON. Nice and smokey as it should be!!! Hummus was good, the falafel was tasty, and the dolma was nice. My only complaints are, the fried cauliflower was mush and not crispy at all...yuck!!! Also, they were supposed to include tahini and tzaziki sauce as well as pita - I got NONE of those. read more

I wanted to love this place but the food was meh. The falafel was dry. I thought the "combo" would come with rice and/or pita and hummus (I used online ordering and it didn't specify), but it came with soggy French fries. The tabouli "appetizer" was expensive for the itty bitty portion we got but it tasted good. The schwarma was ok. For the price I will go back to Zoe's which has much better food. read more

We will not be back. We attempted to eat lunch here today. I ordered the Lebanese plate which was supposed to have falafel. When the food was dropped off at our table, I noticed there was no falafel. I brought my plate back up to the counter and the guy told me he didn't have falafel. Why wouldn't they have said so when I placed the order? My husband's gyro plate looked disgusting and dried out. My son's chicken schwarma was super dry. The "pitas" were tough and dry like store bought tortillas. After a bite or two, we tossed it in the trash and left. Waste of $40. Absolutely Great experience! Ordered the Pita Combo, the fries were absolutely amazing, and the Pita brought back memories of Germany (where I found some of the best Gyros in the world). These were extremely good, in fact the best I've had in a very long while. I'm very impressed as this was a random DoorDash selection, and I know I'll order from Kababji Grill again. What a lovely place. The place itself is very spacious, cool looking, and clean. We were immediately greeted with smiles and a warm welcome. The food itself was soooo tasty and delicious. Everything was fresh, and the chicken and meat was so moist and flavorful. We were delightfully satisfied. If you haven't tried it yet, do yourself a favor and go for it. We ate here for the first time last night and we're still in shock over the experience. There were 6 total in our party, 4 adults, a three year old and a 10 month old. When taking the order we were told there would be a mandatory 20% large party gratuity, really the baby doesn't even eat a meal yet. Who includes a baby as part of a party? But we decided to stay and continued ordering. Three of us got soda, it came from a self serve fountain. The fountain had no ice, 4 out of service sodas, and 3 that worked. We chose from the three. Upon tasting them, they were flat and the mix was off. We decided to switch to water after one sip from each. We let the owner know. He gave us a free baklava because of this and put an out of order sign on the entire soda machine. It's seems like our server, earning a 20% gratuity, could have mentioned the machine was broken or had limited choices. So, after dinner, we checked out at the counter and we're shocked at the cost. It included the mandatory gratuity and drinks we didn't drink... and it was outrageous. Service included taking our order and delivery of food only ... we got our own undrinkable drink and went to the counter to pay. The food, well, it was just ok.
