Beyond amazing service and food! The Beef Barg Combo was big enough for my wife and I to share and it really hit the spot. We noticed that a few regulars came in that the owners seemed to know very closely, and I loved that familial atmosphere that comes with everyone knowing each other's names. This place has become one of my favorites! In the past month, I've been there 4 times. I've had the chicken tenders, pork ribs, Beef koobidah, and beef Barg and all are fantastic. The meat is cooked and seasoned perfectly and they include a portion of rice and veggies that complements the meat. It's the perfect spot to pick up dinner on the way home. The people in the restaurant are always friendly and the place has a great neighborhood feel that I appreciate. You could go somewhere else and pay twice as much for a meal that isn't nearly as good. As I write this I'm still in disbelief, as a foodie who's travelled to the greatest culinary stomping grounds in the world (Japan, France Switzerland, Italy, Chicago etc) with an incredibly good diverse background I can honestly say that Kabob Grill N Go was the best eating experience I've ever hand in my life. I understand different dining environments such as high end (gibsons, bavettes, au cheval, rpm and countless Michelin over seas restaurants) and holes in the wall, with the breaking point being the most important thing being the food itself, but this food sucked everything together like a black hole creating the best dining experience of my life. I ordered a rib combo with a single skewer of koobideh and a single skewer of chicken thigh and was told 35 minutes wait (perfection takes time) from Gio the host doing a great job. 54$ with rice, dips and salad CHEAP. The owner was working while greeting costumers. I walked across the street to the bar RIPS that only had wonderful things to say about the restaurant we were waiting for. I came back after 35 minutes and my food was ready and warm, I told the owner Tony I wanted to eat some for dine in to give him my honest opinion and man OH MAN was I delighted. from the goddamn smell I was enticed into heaven and each bite of each skewer was more delectable then the next, the chicken thigh was perfection, the ribs were perfection and the koobideh (which my wife NEVER eats and she loved) was perfection. When I say this I do NOT say it lightly as growing up with Persians and Palestinians my entire life eating at the most famous middle eastern restaurants in Chicago (rezas, noon o kebab and kabobi LOOK THEM UP TONY YOUR BETTER THEN THEM ALL! Including at thier homes with homemade cooking!). The juices dripping into the delectable rice and the salad sides added to the perfect meals. I say this with conviction and love, the PERFECT MEAL. Thank you for granting me this experience. As I walked out to my car in the hot back parking lot with my wife I heard Tony cooking over the hot charcoal grills and shouted, HAVE A GOOD DAY TONY! Thank you! To which he replied through the walls, THANK YOU BILL YOU HAVE A FAMILY HERE NOW! I'd give this place all of the stars if I could!! The food is phenomenal, portions are VERY generous, and the staff so friendly and kind. We've only been twice so I had a lot of questions when I called to place the order (due to dietary restrictions). I believe it was one of the Owners who took my order and he was very kind and answered all of my questions and accommodated my requests. The food took about 40 minutes, but he warned us ahead of time. They make the meat skewers fresh and grill to order, so it makes sense that it takes a while. Good things take time and it's one thousand percent worth the wait. Just plan ahead if you need to! When we came to pick up the food we were asking about the various kabobs in the meat case and the Owner very passionately and enthusiastically told us about the food, then thanked us many times for coming in. He even helped us carry our big trays to the car and said god bless. Truly a refreshing and heart warming interaction! We live in the east valley but will be finding as many reasons to drive up to Phoenix to grab some kabobs as we can!! We've had the koobideh, pork ribs, and chicken thighs. All outstanding. I finally found a place to replace my dear Darband Kabobs of Houston, TX. Their food is fantastic a well priced (in store prices are lower than what is being shown on yelp?). As a bonus, they are located right next to my favorite middle eastern grocery store. As usual for Persian/Armenian culture they are way too generous with the food portions and the rice is unbelievably delicious. They are very busy! So call ahead or prepare to wait awhile.
