If you want authentic Persian BBQ this is the place! They have the best Koobideh i have ever tasted. I always order their scewer dishes and it never dissapoints. This place is such a hole in the wall. They have the best falafel sandwich I have ever had. The workers are so nice and started to recognize me because I would seriously go THAT often. Fantastic meal for a great price. Ordered the three skewer kabob (chicken, beef, and lamb) and the lula kofta-- all very good with plenty to eat. Hummus is perfectly tangy and creamy and the rice cooked al dente. All meat is halal, packed with lots of flavor and a tender texture. Wife and I ordered, and I noticed that the cook/cashier was still wearing the disposable latex gloves while taping on the cash register. Then, I watched the same person, with the same latex gloves handle raw ingredients. I asked him whether he'd be changing his gloves, and he said, "I was just about to!" And, when I said that I saw him handle the raw food with the same gloves he handled money with, he lied and said that he didn't. He did. We asked for a refund and left. read more

LOL For reference, I usually order the 2 skewers plate (kaft lulu and chicken), which comes with a small but delicious side salad, pita bread, delicious hummus and buttery white rice, my goodness. The steak kebabs are good and so are the lamb ones but the aforementioned ones are my definite go-to's. Drove past this new restaurant many times and seen the pictures of the food. Looked very tempting. But today I went in to try the beef kabobs. What does halal mean anyway? Called ahead and picked up my order to take home. 2 beef kabobs, rice, salads hamus with the flat bread. Rhe hamus is home made and so is rhe flat bread I believe. The beef was so juicy and very tasty. Fresh off the grill as it was still hot with the 2 block drive home. They threw in a side of green olives. Not so sour as many are. After passing by this place my husband and I finally decided to stop in. I've had Mediterranean food before but I thought it was just OK. We ordered the #1 Beef Kabob but the lady who was helping us out heard my husband say next time we'll try the lamb. She said she can split it and give us one beef and one lamb since it was the same price. We were excited! The wait was very quick. We ordered to go and when we got home we noticed two to-go boxes. I just thought they were nice and split the rice and salad in equally, but they actually gave us two kabobs each!! We were both shocked but surprised. The food is delicious but do not order through the yelp app. I ordered ahead of time since the food takes a while to prepare and worth the wait. Clocked out for my lunch at work wasted 15 minutes of my break driving to the location(traffic, not the places fault) only to show up and be told they never received the order even though it was confirmed on the app that order was received by the place.
