    Pick 2 Lunch Options~
    Lisa C.

We were a group of 3 for lunch today. Two ordered the pick 2 sushi roll lunch specials and I opted for Yum Woon Sen. All started with a side salad and had H20 to drink. Our salads were delicious! I love their peanut dressing and this was my first time trying the Yum Woon Sen. I opted for spicy and didn't make any alterations to the dish. I highly recommend. It's very clean and filling. I will definitely order it again. Our server was superb and all the staff worked together in harmony to ensure our needs were met. This is a great lunch spot for those who work in or close to downtown WPB.

My friends took me to Kabuki's because it's one of their favorites that they go to regularly and are always very happy. We ordered the Angry Rock Shrimp appetizer which was extremely fresh and as delicious. Salads with a delicious fresh ginger dressing. Someone ordered the wanton soup which she loved. They both got spicy tuna rolls and loved them. The Shrimp Pad Thai I ordered was delicious and the shrimp was perfectly cooked. I enjoyed it so much. The restaurant is nothing special to look at inside but it the outdoor seating is beautiful. I do recommend this place. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because I still like Peppermints even better .. (that's a recent review).

We've been coming to Kabuki for many years. Their HH used to be better. They changed their portion since the last time we've been here, It looks like you're getting half the food for half the price which really isn't much of a deal. Kabuki used to served a full roll during happy hour now we got 4-5 small pieces for a single order. The squid ring was half the portion it used to be. A bit disappointing.

Great happy hour 3-6pm including Saturdays. Food is tasty and portions for the most part are good but I think the squid rings app is smaller than it used to be and you only get 5 pieces of shrimp tempura roll. Service is timely. Place is nice and outdoor seating is available.

Delicious teriyaki sauce Ambiance sit in or outside- the neighborhood tends to be a bit seedy. The food was good. Service excellent Recommend! Oh yea and drinks at 3pm are $7

Kabuki is easily my favorite sushi spot in West Palm. This location is conveniently located on Clematis Street in the heart of downtown close to everything. The prices here are more than fair for the excellent quality of both the food and service. They have a good variety of both Japanese and Thai cuisines on their menu. They have both hot and cold tapas, a ton of sushi rolls to select from as well as signature and chef dishes. Recommendations: Miso soup- on point Ginger salad- the dressing is to die for, so fresh, very authentic Angry rock shrimp- not dry at all and not too spicy, just a kick Any and all specialty sushi rolls- I love the jalapeño with yellow tail fish & the empire roll The aesthetic is a little bland but the quality of the food and service really makes up for it. I've never had to make a reservation to be seated here and never had to wait for a table but during busy season Dec-April you might consider making one. They're on open table. They have multiple locations throughout SE Florida so might check out their other spots if you had a good experience at this one.

Staying close by for work. Found this place for lunch and was pleasantly surprised. Friendly staff, plenty of seating, and a great lunch special. Pick two lunch includes entree and sushi roll with miso soup or salad. Had massaman curry and spicy tuna roll. Great portion size and food was tasty. Will be back again next time in town.

Had a late lunch at Kabuki in WPB. Love their "You Pick Two" lunch options. I got a salad, shrimp pad Thai, and a spicy krab roll for $15.95. My mom got the chicken drunken noodles & salmon avocado roll. My cousins got curry with rice. Many mix and match options. Only negative was the service was really slow ordering even though it wasn't very busy.

Service was attentive especially in the beginning but like the food, as time when on, it went downhill! Walked in for happy hour which had good prices. I ordered the lemon drop which was delicious. For food, I ordered the spring rolls, salmon sashimi, a flash fried roll JB tempura, shrimp tempura roll and krab rangoons. Now the first to come out was the spring rolls and they were piping hot and delicious. The dipping sauce was a great compliment. I just knew I was in for a treat. The JB and shrimp tempura came out next and the JB was barely ok (definitely didn't taste the hype) but the shrimp tempura was way worse. Clearly old and cold, tempura wasn't even crispy. Tasted like it came from the fridge. The wrapper from the crab rangoons was crispy deliciousness but the inside needs work according to my taste buds. I went pretty early, right at HH so they had some patrons but it wasn't packed at all so that was nice. I did tell the guy about the shrimp tempura but he basically shrugged it off. I wasn't expecting any credit since I ate half of it but rather FYI, stop serving ppl old stuff. I'd return, see what else on the menu is good. Only things I'm repeating are the lemon drop and spring rolls though.

If done a blind taste test and asked is this grocery store sushi? or is this restaurant sushi...I would have thought grocery made... My cousin was taking me around the downtown palm beach area and was wanting sushi. She said Kabuki is a go-to that has many restaurants around town (there's one closer to her home that she likes). She's been to Kabuki many times but this time was pretty bad in her opinion. The tom kha was not hot when given. The soup was super cold, really wish we had a microwave. The waiter said it was going to be super spicy but we didn't taste any hint of it. The gyoza was good she said that was like the times she had has it. The volcano roll was bad this time, too much cream cheese. The top was left untouched. My ahi tuna roll was just okay nothing special weirdly warm...

Great prices and good happy hour. Best sushi spot on Clematis street in my opinion so far! The Wellington location is okay but this one is way better.

Kabuki is one of my list of places to go during my lunch break. You get great value for your money, especially with their excellent lunch specials. One of my favorites is the drunken noodles and the spicy salmon roll, but this time I opted for the salad. The total cost was $16. The service is quick, the atmosphere is nice, and the food is always hot and fresh. Check it out when your down on Clematis Street.

OK, so the poke tacos were not that bad but they don't do fried rice very well. I ventured here with some heffa that I don't even talk to anymore. But that's another story. The service was OK, they need to get their reservation system, right. I made reservations, but the heifer got there first. We only got drinks this time and we picked the lychee martini, yamazaki swinger, and the Lua Pele Scorpion Bowl. The vodka and the sake in the lychee martini didn't go to well or it was just a bad mix that day. But I was not a fan of the drink. The yamazaki swinger was very watered down and we barely tasted the whiskey. The Lua Pele Scorpion bowl wasn't much of a show and while the drink did taste good, it was mostly filled with decorations. It's supposed to serve 2-4 people but after we took all the decorations out and poured the drink into a cup, it was barely a full cup. I'll definitely give it a try again as I'm not sure how the food was and maybe it was just an off day for the bartender.

Once inside I noticed that the lighting was darker and the interior minimized. We were invited to sit anywhere so we chose a front window booth. The table only had one service setting so we had to borrow another from a neighboring table. We looked over the menus and made our choices from the Lunch Specials. I went with the Chicken Red Curry. My wife ordered a Shrimp dish. We noticed that the only person taking orders and serving would disappear into the kitchen for extended amounts of time. (The only one working?) Our food was finally brought out of the kitchen. My wife's Shrimp dish was absent of Shrimp, but had chicken instead so she sent it back. Meanwhile I ate my Luke warm red curry vegetables and rice with a few drabs of chicken meat. So sad to see the dramatic decline in what once was an A-1 Thai restaurant.

The restaurant has seen better days, it's a bit grim inside with everything showing some wear. We were directed to a booth and given lunch menus. There was one guy taking orders and serving. There was a large party of folks who worked near by seated at a long table and a couple other booths occupied when we came. It took long enough for him to take our order that we were debating whether or not to leave. Chicken vegetable soup comes with the entrees. We were each given hot soup. The vegetables were mainly cabbage and there were a couple pieces of chicken in it. The light broth, however, was good with little bits of fried garlic in it. My husband's chicken red curry was served on a flat plate. It came with white rice. He said it would have been better if it was a hotter temperature. I'd ordered cashew shrimp, but was delivered chicken. I'd corrected him when ordering, so I sent it back. The shrimp were good -- a half a dozen nice sized pieces. The dish also had a lot of cashews. The only downside? The rice was cold. I'm glad we tried them. Now we know.

For a split second, I thought maybe the place had been rented out for a private party we weren't invited to. But, trusting the good reviews, we decided to stay and risk it. Worst case? We'd get our food before the menus even hit the table. We started with the curry puffs--crispy, warm, nicely seasoned. Solid little bites, though not exactly the type of appetizer you dream about later like an old high school crush. My salad with peanut dressing followed, but the dressing was more watery than I'd like. Tasty, yes, but I like my peanut dressing to hug the lettuce, not run away from it. And then--boom--the Penang curry chicken arrived and stole the spotlight. This was the real deal. The flavors were rich and balanced, with that "made from scratch" depth you can't fake. I asked for mine spicy and they nailed it--just the right amount of heat to make me sweat a little but still want to keep eating. And, I like it hot! Mission accomplished without losing flavor!! My wife went mild, and hers looked like it had been painted in softer pastels while mine was done in neon flames. Same dish, two totally different personalities. The owner came by to chat, and she was a delight. Turns out they grow their own peppers and make all their curries from scratch. Suddenly, it all made sense--the freshness, the layered flavors, the fact that my taste buds felt like they were on a guided tour of Thailand instead of eating reheated sauce from a jar. So yes, the restaurant was empty when we walked in. But this isn't a ghost town--it's a hidden gem. A 30 years in business hidden gem. Next time, I'm bringing more people along, partly for the company and partly so I don't feel like I accidentally booked a private dining experience.

It's a small restaurant but very cozy. Amy, the server was very nice. When I arrived there were a few people eating. The one thing I actually found annoying was the man at the table behind me was on his phone speaking loudly the entire time I was there. He finished dinner maybe moments before I did. I would've appreciated had Amy told him you know not to be on the phone like that while people were eating. It was very very disturbing. Another thing I didn't really like was that they didn't give you a salad or something with your dinner. Most Thai restaurants either give you soup or a salad with your dinner. Now onto the food. The food was delicious. I started with the shrimp a blanket and for dinner I had pad siew. I'm probably not spelling it correctly, but it was very tasty. The portion of noodles was quite large. I got the combination version that's supposed to come with shrimp chicken and beef. There were only two shrimp in my dish which I was not happy about. Overall, it was a good experience. Yes it would've been better if I didn't have a loud man screaming into a phone behind me through the whole meal. And yes, I would've probably enjoyed a salad before my dinner. But overall, it was a good experience and I probably would return.
