Stopped by for a quick lunch today and we were pleasantly surprised! We were met with a kind host and the place looks really nice, new, and super clean! The tables are a bit close and a bit small but not too bad! We ordered the Creamy Basil Midori and the Unagi Donburi and both were delicious! At first I thought by the look of the ramen it would be heavy on the basil flavor but it wasn't! I wish the broth had a bit more flavor, but it was still alright! The unagi donburi was on point! Our server was attentive and helpful! We will be back for sushi next time!

Kabuto is a pleasant addition to Spanish Fork! Ambiance was nice, food was great, and servers were friendly. Here's what I think they did well. Huge selection of sushi rolls. Honestly a little overwhelming. But a lot to choose from, so you know you'll find something you like. I went for lunch and it wasn't crowded, the place is nice and clean. My server was also super kind and gave great recommendations. Only a few things I think they could improve on. 1) Add a lunch menu! Would be awesome to have a little variety and try a few things. 2) cost. I get that sushi can be expensive, but the "top" recommended roll was $22. And if I had just ordered that for me, I would've been extremely disappointed. Would not have been enough for a full meal. Most rolls are reasonably priced but a few of their in house ones get pricey. Overall, would definitely come back!

Went here with some of my brothers after Christmas. And we have to say, it's not bad! First of all, the design and visual look of this place is very beautiful. Has a lot of modern spin on Asian interior design, but still holds the theme and cultural details alongside it smoothly. We came in and were seated quite quickly and the waiter was swift to get our appetizers and drinks prepared as we decided on what to try for the first time. Although a lot of the staff did seem a bit scattered here and there, we gave a lot of grace since this place had just opened and we had just assumed most staff is freshly trained. I had decided to get a single roll of Spicy Yellowtail but with the exclusion of Avocado as I am unfortunately allergic, but thankfully this was no problem to them and they were more than happy to get me taken care of, he was also very considerate to ask any specific reasoning as to why, after I stated it was due to allergies the waiter showed genuine concern and was sure to notate this down to avoid and confusion and discrepancy when relayed to the Kitchen. As for Main dishes I decided to try their Miso Ramen, as I had spotted a couple Ramen bowls on my way in and I was beginning to take a fancy to it. The Menu as a whole was plentiful with options, and very versatile in which route you wanted to take for types of dishes (Sushi especially). Our wait for food was roughly 5-7 minutes which was perfect pacing for us as we were able to just chat amongst each other and review the menu more and seeing the many other options we can consider for our return. Food arrived fresh and plated beautifully on everyone's dishes. There was a slight issue as one of my brother's had requested a Lasagna Sushi and was provided the wrong dish, the waiter took full accountability and let us know we were more than happy to keep the Sushi free of charge and take this opportunity to see if we enjoy this one too as an apology. We were very grateful for the acknowledgement of this error and he was still able to receive his original order just fine. Overall the experience and setting is an amazing addition for Spanish Fork, as we don't necessarily have many Asian based restaurants down south compared to Provo and Orem, I believe this restaurant will be our next go to spot for distance conveniency and quality. (Also wanted to give Brownie Points to the Manager as I asked who was on AUX as the playlist was almost identical to my own taste and he came over and was very ecstatic to talk more about it and made the whole restaurant experience that much more personable)

Black garlic tonkatsu and mango tango roll. Here for a second time this week and everyone is so nice and helpful. Highly recommend!!!

And not one crumb left behind. Thats how good this place is. Highly recommend!!! They even have real wasabi!!

We walked in and we we're asked if we had a reservation. And then they said we could just come in and be seated. Apparently today was a special day as they were opening and the city was there to cut the ribbon for a grand opening. But they let us in anyway The servers were fantastic to deal with and there was a lot of staff on hand to be trained. The food was pretty amazing compared to most other Japanese food locations that I've been to some of us got sushi and others got ramen. We also had a number of sides

I was so disappointed with this place. I brought my family to celebrate my grandson's birthday, and the whole experience was a letdown. They seated our party of seven in a cramped corner with no view, and the service was extremely slow -- our appetizers arrived before we even got water. The gyoza were good, but the baby octopus was over-fried and rubbery, and the jalapeño poppers were literally one jalapeño cut into four pieces with no crab flavor at all. My hot tea came in a tall plastic water cup because they don't have teacups, and the sake wasn't even Japanese. The basil ramen was the only thing my family liked. My Black Rock roll was so bad I had to spit out the first bite -- soggy shrimp and bad flavor. The sashimi my son ordered was the worst part: dry, discolored, poorly cut, and looked unsafe to eat. One salmon piece had skin still on it, another had cartilage sticking out. The miso soup and salad that were supposed to come with it never arrived. We sent back three dishes, yet the manager never came to the table -- she just sent the server to say she'd remove them from the bill. For a new sushi restaurant, that lack of concern is unacceptable. The prices here are high, but the quality, freshness, flavor, and quantity don't match at all. The food was sketchy, the service was slow, and management didn't seem to care. We will not be returning or recommending this place.

I thought it would be more complex but literally tasted like my bottle of sauce at home. The vegetables were just steamed and lacked flavor depth. Heavenly Mango Drink: I was happy to see that it included real mango chunks. It was pretty good, but was nothing special. Popcorn Chicken: The Taiwanese popcorn chicken, which I heard was what this restaurant was popular for, was disappointingly simple in flavor. I only taste 1 flavor profile throughout and was expecting to it to have more of a mixture of five spice, garlic and basil flavors. I recommend paying the extra $0.25 for basil if you decide to try it. P.S. Use your starving student card when you come eat here! You can get food for BOGO

I liked the Chinese vegetables that came with the bento box. The egg with a runny egg yolk was good, but it could be marinated longer to have a stronger taste. I also got the Shhh!
