It's been a minute since I've been up in this area, and apparently I've been sleeping on all the new spots opening up. I saw this ramen place pop up on Yelp yesterday and had to check it out. It's a small shop, but honestly that made it feel cozy -- and there was zero wait, which is always a win. The staff was friendly, the service was fast, and the ramen... chef's kiss. First time trying this restaurant as a new Las Vegas resident living just minutes away. I ordered the Deluxe Ramen (mild spice) and the shrimp tempura sushi roll. The space itself is on the smaller side--definitely not ideal for large parties. I'd say it's best for 4 people comfortably, maybe 6-8 max, and even then it's a bit tight. The waitstaff was friendly, and my ramen came out within about 10 minutes, with the sushi roll following shortly after. The ramen was great--mild, not heavy, and full of flavor. I really enjoyed it. The sushi roll, however, was just okay. The shrimp itself was fine, but the rice didn't seem fresh. It was noticeably drier than normal, which made it feel like it may have been made with day-old rice. That said, I'll definitely be back to try more of their ramen options, as that was a strong point. First time visiting Kagari Ramen and it did not disappoint! We came on a Monday evening, and the place was super cute inside--anime art on the walls gives it such a fun, cozy vibe. Service was attentive but the food took longer than expected, it was a busy time at 6:00 pm. Ordered the Beef. Brisket ramen and was a little disappointed on the amount of meat in the bowl. The flavor of the broth was savory and not too salty. The Bok Choy was cooked perfectly and the egg was amazing! My family thought the Black Garlic Ramen could have been a bit more garlicky but it was delicious! The shoyu ramen had large round slices of pork and a nice clear broth. Omg Kagari Ramen has been my go to spot for the past few months. I literally can't go a week without stopping in. I get the same thing every time, Tonkatsu ramen with extra egg, and it's always amazing. It's such a generous portion for such a good price too. I also love the vibes inside, it really feels like you're in Japan. But my favorite thing about Kagari is the staff!! They are so so nice there and they really make it worth returning. Came here for dinner and honestly... I may have found my new happy place. The chicken yakisoba was so good I considered ordering a second plate and pretending the first one "never arrived." Vegas keeps expanding, and Kagari Ramen feels like the last delicious stop before heading up to Mount Charleston. Whether you're going to the mountains or coming back from a long hike, this spot is a must-try. My wife just had her braces adjusted (a $7k smile better be straight ), so she went with their ramen, soft noodles, rich broth, perfect for sensitive teeth. I went with the Japanese-style shrimp curry, and let me tell you, it hit the spot. fFavorful, comforting, and surprisingly affordable given how everything else in the world seems to be going up in price. The young man serving us was very polite and nice. The ambiance was great! I loved the anime wallpaper and the Japanese feel. The food was good. My husband and I both got the lunch special which includes a bowl of Ramen, tempura shrimp/pork gyoza, and a drink for $19.95. I ordered the veggie Ramen with soy broth and my husband got the chicken ramen with chicken broth. Apparently you can choose whichever broth you want, there are quite a few choices. We both enjoyed our Ramen. Mine needed just a tad bit more salt or soy sauce but still pretty good. I think I will try the miso broth next time. Oh yea, we also had the sesame balls. They were good, just a little chewy but I still enjoyed them. Overall, I really enjoyed this place. I will definitely be back just due to the service alone! We tried out Kagari for Valentine's Day and we were very pleased with the outcome. They don't take reservations which we weren't sure about the wait time but luckily we got a table right away. The staff was very friendly and very quick to get our drinks and order. They were very helpful explaining some of their most popular dishes which we took their advice! The overall theme where we sat was anime Dragon Ball Z themed which was awesome and felt cozy. The food came out pretty quick so lunch service I'm sure is quick as well. The prices are very affordable and we even tried out extra dishes to get a good idea on what we wanted in the future. We highly recommend their sushi overall. My mom was visiting from Texas and it somehow came up that she had never had "real, authentic" (restaurant-style) ramen - I did a Yelp search and this spot showed up as being close to home, and I hadn't even heard of it. The space is cute with anime themed decor on the walls. Staff are friendly and the menu has a lot of variety, with appetizers, ramen, sushi (half rolls available), fried rice, and more. We ended up sharing the stuffed jalapenos, the Kagari roll, black garlic ramen (subbed thick noodle), and a large Thai tea. This was a good variety to get a feel for the restaurant, and everything was done pretty well. I would prefer the ramen egg to be a little more jammy, the one we got was closer to hard boiled, but there was a good variety of toppings and pricing was also fair, about $20/person. This spot isn't quite on par with what you'd get in Chinatown but the location is very convenient and it's a business I want to help support. Might have to get the Japanese omelette next time. Bonus points for staff being great with my toddler, providing drinks with lids, high chairs, and a great attitude. read more

A new neighborhood ramen place is always a welcomed site! I was eager to try them as my fellow Yelpers like this place! I walked in close to closing and I just wanted an easy Chicken Ramen to-go. The ladies were nice and accommodating as they had all the tables cleaned already but had no issue fulfilling a quick to-go order. They were very friendly and I just sat at a table to wait. They were very fast and I was quickly on my way. The Chicken Ramen uses a thinner noodle in a chicken broth. It comes with a lot of kikurage (type of mushroom) which other ramen places don't use. So, be sure to know if you like it so you can ask for them to "hold the kikurage". Myself - I like it so I had it in my to-go order. Overall, it's a solid ramen and their prices are a few dollars less than nearby places. There's several ramen places in the neighborhood and would this be my go-to ramen place? I'm not exactly sure yet. Some ramen places you take your first bite and know that it's going to be a regular go-to for you. I'm still figuring this out about Kagari, but I'll say that my first visit and experience was positive so I'm sure I'll have a potential updated review in the coming months. read more

I love this place. It's right next to our house and it's always nice to be able to go there and get comfort food. I I just recently moved out here.. I've been looking for some good Ramen spots. I'm a fanatic. I didn't get any pictures of the food, but will make sure to get some next time. I have had the tonkotsu ramen and the curry ramen. I highly recommend the curry. It's flavor is delicious - the mixture of the broth with the noodles is to die for (if you like curry). I wanted to finish every last drop. I was not able to The lady that has taken care of us both times was very sweet and she actually recommended the Curry Ramen. (Im so glad she did!) Wooohooo!! A new amazing ramen location in Northwest Las Vegas! After my dental appointment, I was hungry! Looking at ramen locations within the Yelp mobile application, for restaurants in Northwest Las Vegas, my husband and I noticed Kagari Ramen, in the Skye Canyon area! All of the reviews were outstanding for the restaurant! I had to go try it out! Kagari Ramen is located within the new shopping complex at Skye Canyon. It's right next to McDonalds and El Pollo Loco. There is spacious amount of parking spots available. We ended up eating at Kagari Ramen on a Friday, around 3:30 P.M. There weren't too many customers inside the restaurant yet! There was plenty of seating and the team member let us choose our own seats! I had to sit in the area that had all of the manga like Dragon Ball Z, Naruto, and One Piece! Dragon Ball Z is one of my favorite mangas! The service was outstanding! It was some of the best service I've had in awhile! The team member brought over menus and waters after we sat down at our table. Looking over the menu, Kagari Ramen had a lot of options from sushi, seafood, Poke bowls, milk teas, ramen, currys, and so much more! When the team member received our order, she had confirmed it by repeating it back to us! For an appetizer, we ended up having the Gyoza. It was pan fried with a side of soy sauce! The gyoza was crispy and scrumptious! My husband's ramen with garlic and brisket, came out first. I ended up eating the Gyoza while waiting for my chicken Katsu curry. My husband enjoyed the ramen. The noodles were similar to a Hakata ramen. The noodles were not the wavy kind. The broth flavor was scrumptious and the brisket was tender! I really enjoyed the chicken katsu curry. It came out about 10 minutes after the ramen, but it was totally worth the wait! The chicken used was the chicken breast meat, battered with a light breading. The curry sauce was sweet though! It was a thick consistency too! It blended well with the rice! The price was great for the ramen and curry! The restaurant's décor is awesome and the team members here are amazing! We visited on Saturday for lunch with a party of 3 adults and two small children and it was a very nice experience. We were seated right away, the dining area is not large, but clean and well decorated. We started with a few appetizers; Crab Rangoon, Gyoza, Chashu Buns, Chicken Wings, Kimchi, and 3 sushi rolls. From there we went with Lobster Ramen, Japanese Omelet and a Bento Box. All the food was well prepared and came out rather quickly. The service was excellent. Several servers made sure that waters were refilled and plates cleared expeditiously. Overall, a nice place for Asian fare. Kagari Ramen is one of the most disappointing dining experiences I've had in a long time. Nearly everything is clearly frozen and reheated--nothing feels fresh or made in-house. The ingredients are low quality and totally lacking in flavor. The ramen? A far cry from authentic--bland broth, noodles that taste like they came from a packet, and meat that might as well be cold deli slices. They don't even serve beer, which is the bare minimum for a ramen spot. The sushi is premade and on par with what you'd find in a gas station fridge. And then there's the salad... drenched in Russian dressing? What are we doing here? The menu is bizarrely huge, even including seafood boils. It feels like they're trying to do everything--and doing none of it well. This place needs a serious reset: shrink the menu and start using real, fresh ingredients. Until then, skip it. read more

We came around 1230pm and there was no wait which is great for a family with kids who are hungry. We were greeted at the front and we were able to choose where we wanted to sit. The restaurant had a cute ambiance decorated with anime and other things like different types or lucky cats. The menu is pretty great all different options from udons, ramens, curries even a little sushi. We ordered the shrimp tempura udon and it was delicious the broth was perfect and not too salty, the udon noodles were perfectly chewy. We also ordered the tonkotsu garlic ramen which if you like black garlic you are really going to like this one! Out last dish was the chicken chashu bento we loved that you're able to switch out the sushi for avocado or spicy tuna roll if you were interested in the cali roll. We just happened on this neighborhood gem! The atmosphere is right out of Tokyo with different Anime paintings on the walls and chopsticks at every table. The fried dumpling appetizer was crunchy and moist, the ramen(beef and pork) was amazing, but my star was the Chicken Katzu Curry, just the right amount of spice and loaded with fried chicken.
