Holy sh*}! This place is legit... The salsa's were excellent and well crafted. appetizers, and carnivore entrées were all well executed. I was especially impressed by the presentation and garnishes; they paid a lot of attention to presentation as well as they decor of the place, and it pays off by making it feel special. Prices were entirely reasonable for the exceptional quality. We will definitely be coming back.

Simply fabulous! The ambience and service by Ivelisse was memorable. Delicious food and margaritas almost too pretty to drink!

Kahlo comes as a recommendation for it's unique Mexican fusion food. Themed around famed artist Frida Kahlo, her presence is all around the restaurant. The menu takes me back to my time in Mexico City. I order the pulpo (grilled octopus) which comes with potatoes and asparagus. It was sizzling as it came out. It was very rich in that it was drenched in butter. The asparagus and potatoes were all seasoned the same as the pulpo so it was a bit one note. The pulpo was also a bit on the chewy side and could have been cooked longer. I don't mind either and overall was a good meal. They have an extensive menu of unique fares. Eclectic interior. Good service. Please come and create your own adventure.

A friend introduced me to Kahlo Exotic Grill, and we stopped in for a late lunch around 2:00 p.m. on a Thursday. I arrived a little early to look around and ended up chatting with our server, Cecilia, before my friend joined me. I've been visiting Cabo San Lucas for 20 years and have always been curious about certain traditional ingredients, especially mole and nopales. Cecilia explained that the mole is homemade in the restaurant and offered with a variety of dishes, much like salsa roja or salsa verde. For those unfamiliar, nopales (nopal) are cactus paddles. In Cabo grocery stores, you'll often see someone dedicated to preparing them, trimming the spines and scraping the surface. I've always wondered how they're used in authentic Mexican cooking. Cecilia described several ways to enjoy nopales, either as a side dish or incorporated into something like a taco. When my friend arrived, we were seated immediately and had the restaurant to ourselves. Cecilia brought out two bowls of chicken broth soup just like the Yelp photo. It had good flavor and included a little pasta for texture. I ordered the chilaquiles with relleno and mole. To drink, I chose a tamarindo (tamarind juice). Our meals arrived in about 15 minutes. (FYI: They serve breakfast, lunch, and dinner all day.) My dish was beautifully layered in a large, shallow bowl. From the bottom up: a layer of small cheese-filled peppers coated in fried egg batter, a layer of corn tortilla chips, a fried egg, another layer of chips, and thinly sliced chicken breast on top. The presentation was impressive. The food was excellent, a wonderful variety of authentic Mexican flavors and textures. The mole had a rich, earthy red chile flavor reminiscent of chipotle but milder. The rellenos were crispy on the outside with a mild pepper and cheese filling inside. The tamarindo (non-alcoholic) was somewhat similar to root beer but with a subtle, lighter difference. It's made fresh onsite and finishes with a small amount of tamarind pulp at the bottom, clearly not a canned beverage. Interesting and unexpected. I enjoyed it. Dessert was a true work of art. It's called "buñuelo" but is much more than a pasty: Two scoops of vanilla ice cream topped with fruit preserves, separated by a light, flaky waffle pastry and surrounded by raspberries. It was an outstanding combination of textures and flavors. See the photo. Overall, it was a great afternoon experience. I'm going back.

Such a fabulous eating experience! From the time we arrived til our last bite, we had a great time. Food was fantastic, service was exemplary. can't wait to let all our friends know about this 'gem'!! I wanted to celebrate my husband's 80th birthday and this was a perfect start to his birthday season!!

This place is under new ownership and it is absolutely fantastic!! The ambiance is pleasant and the decor is fun. Our server, Cecilia, was so kind. We went to celebrate my son's 13th birthday and she ensured we all had a great time. But the food, the food is amazing!! We started off with coffee (cafe de olla) a very smooth coffee with hints of cinnamon. My son had the hot cocoa (Champurrado). Both came with a side of a Mexican sweet bread. The sweet bread was soft and warm; super fresh! Our appetizer was the smoked salmon slices with capers (Salmon carpaccio). The main courses: a cactus leaf stuffed with ham and cheese (nopales rellenos) and the beef mole. These came with a side of rice, beans, and homemade tortillas. The tortillas are colored naturally. Green tortillas - spinach. Red tortillas- beets. You couldn't taste the spinach or beets & I really appreciate that they don't use artificial dyes or colors. I can't wait to come back again!! This is truly a gem.

This is definitely a hidden gem! When you walk in, you'll instantly notice the artsy vibe to the place. The owners did a great job with the whole design and concept of paying homage to a famous artist that is Frida Kahlo. The dishes we tried were delicious. They're not your typical Mexican style dishes. I'd describe it as healthier, artistic Mexican culinary flair. The disb I had was the creamy chipotle chicken. I was thinking it was going to be like chipotle that's spicy but it wasn't spicy at all but still good and filling. I'm definitely coming back to try the other dishes like one of the steaks. Love the whole ambiance and vibe!

We were excited to try this place. However it was not as expected. The staff were friendly and accommodating. The place is beautiful. We ordered 2 parrilladas (40 each) , coconut shrimp and drinks. The Parrillada "Mar y tierra"? Was not as described. No octopus or fish were found in this messy food. Parrillada means grilled meat or seafood. This dish s no t what you expect. Overall overpriced, bad presentation and nothing special flavor. Very disappointing , please do better!

Here I believe it's of love and passion for their business plus the high quality of ingredients used. The menu alone is well thought out. They have their top specialties, half or whole sandwiches, tots, fries, soups and if that doesn't make your mouth water you can create your own cheese melt or customize yours with add ons. I opted for my standard go to, grilled cheese with tomatoes and my side was fries. Can I tell you that this makes my mouth water reflecting on how crispy the bread, gooey the cheese, french fries dipped in the special sauce (yum), not to mention the grilled cheese chip which was first to go. An absolute go to if you're in the area.

Personally I had never heard of them, but she told me that they're know to make gourmet grilled cheese sandwiches and that's when I knew we had to stop by. My coworker ordered the standard with a side of tots and a drink. I ended up asking the nice lady at the counter what she recommend for someone who was allergic to pork and was told about their turkey melt which is like the standard, but has a garlic mayo, grilled onions and mushrooms, and oven roasted turkey (my mouth is watering again) and I topped it off with a side of tots and melted cheese. As you can see from my picture we're lucky I was even able to remember to snap one before I devoured the whole thing. I do have a question about this food truck. I had asked if they were open on weekends and was told that they in fact were, but I can't seem to find their hours/location for Saturday and Sunday. Does anyone know?

Disappointing lunch order @ Panera Bread in Medford, OR…read more I'm not surprised that once the hype of Panera Bread opening up in this town settled down, they wouldn't be an anticipated lunch destination. They've gone down hill since their glory days from decades past. This was my second visit here and I used the kiosk to place my order, as did others since no employee was present to personally take orders. I tried ordering a 'pick 2' with one of my items being salad. I tried to choose multiple salads and every time it said 'no romaine or iceberg lettuce is available at this time' like seriously?!? So yeah, what I ended up getting was just 'okay'. I didn't like that they added the tortilla strips into the soup container so by the time I was ready to eat it, I had a soggy mush on top of perfectly good soup. Like who does that? Also, the sandwich didn't have its ingredients evenly distributed, so I had to bite into certain spots here and there... No care with the food they serve to patrons. What's on display? Sugar-filled pastries and a gross selection of over-priced drinks. I had to ask for a code just to use the bathroom and the employee I tracked down clearly did not want to be there. This is not a place I would enjoy dining in, and would happily go to Chick-fil-A across the street. I will not be returning.

It came out fairly quickly and was delivered by the robot as well as the woman who took my order. First of all the pancakes were the best I have ever seen at any Asian restaurant ever!!!! they were hot, thin, delicate, but strong and tasted great. The Moo Shu mixture itself was fine; however, no sauce was provided. I've never had that experience. Always before either plum sauce or hoisin sauce has been provided and it makes the dish wonderful. I would've asked for hoisin sauce, but I never saw my server again. She never came back to check on me until it was time to pay the bill. I am going to go back and give it another try but this time when I placed my order, I am going to specify that I would like hoisin sauce. At first there was just the three of us, and another couple. But as the night progressed more and more started coming in.. I got worried for a sec when we didn't see any Asians dining here. But as we were heaving a few started showing up. To me when you see Asians dining at an Asian restaurant then it must be good. All there of us are Asians. But about the food...we were surprised how crispy the pork belly with Chinese broccoli with oyster sauce was. It was our fave dish of the night. The chicken satay was surprisingly moist and not dry like must places. My friends said they had better tofu with noodle dish. I also had better tasting Thai iced tea. But it was still refreshing. Gals were friendly, place was clean nothing fancy. Bathroom was clean enough. I guess their toilet was not strong enough to handle the seat covers. They asked to only flush toilet paper. So I had to throw my seat covers in trash like everyone else did. It was pretty weird if you ask me, but understandable if they get plugged toilets which is no fun. Unless they only have a septic tank. But whatever. So we are in a foodie road trip, and this is not part of the collection of places we're heading to in CA. Just a random place we found via Yelp.
