While this is a great idea and I love the decor and the people who work here, this place was a total miss for me food-wise. We came during Happy Hour. Poutine was undercooked aenemic french fries with really cheap melted cheese all over that hardened in such a plasticized way that it was really hard to remove pieces to eat after it cooled. Flavor was almost non-existent outside of the meat. Sweet Potato Tater Tots were more of a potato ball and tasted like licking an over-tinsled christmas tree. WAY too much of the spices and a really really weird very thick and hard breading. Idk how this made it on the menu, but it needs to be seriously re-evaluated. The Philadelphia sushi roll was on par with grocery store sushi. The fish on a stick options we got - cow, shrimp, octopus & spam - were served with raw pineapple (the best part). The octopus was inedibly rubbery, the shrimp were overcooked, the cow was tasteless and overcooked, the spam was edible. We also ordered drinks, but both were insanely sweet and not very balanced or strong flavors. Our server was a sweetheart. I'm sure the lighting and the decor really come alive when there is live music going or a performance happening. The bar area is awesome and I would choose to sit in there, if I ever came back here.

Came here on a Sat. night in June. Wonderful decor, friendly service and a good value for the price. My friend got a Mama Kahuna and I got the Trader Vic's Mai Tai - my friend's drink was better than mine. The sushi was fresh and beautifully presented. The guitar player made it a festive night. Easy street parking.

I used to be a Kahuna Tiki NoHo person, but finally have made it over here after that location closed. There is actually parking available, which is a huge plus! The decor is so fun and on brand. I felt like I was transported to a tropical tiki spot in a faraway land. There was even a live band there to bring up the vibes. My friend and I sat in the bar and were pleased to see a familiar face as our server!!! The drink menu is INSANE and SO GOOD! I need to come back with more friends for more drinks. I ordered the tempura avo, the aloha pizza, and a spicy tuna roll. My friend got the Oahu roll. All of it was delicious! So perfectly prepared and flavorful. The vibes were great, food and drinks were great. All around a cool spot. Check it out!

If you're looking for a place that truly transports you somewhere special, this is it. From the moment you walk in, you're completely immersed in a tropical tiki paradise. The atmosphere is incredible every detail makes you feel like you've escaped to an island getaway, creating a fun, relaxing, and unique dining experience. Between the amazing tiki-themed environment, the fun events, and the fresh, delicious food, this place is a true gem. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a unique dining experience and some of the best sushi around!

We've driven by this place so many times and didn't know what to expect on a last minute reservation for our daughter's birthday. We wanted something different and with a theme and said, "what the heck, let's give it a try." I'm so glad we did! When we walked in, the server acknowledged us right away, grabbed us and took us into the Jungle Bar area. My kids loooooved it. Dark with blue lighting and the tiki theme - it took us to another place! That's why all my pics came out blue. LOL. Trust me though, my food pics don't do them justice. It was delicious and so were the drinks! The drinks were stiff too! My type of party! We ordered the following food items: -Spam Musubi -Tempura Avo -California Cut Roll -Poutine (french fries topped with kalua pig & cheese) -Hawaiian Beef Short Ribs (with asparagus & rice) -Deep Deep Kahuna Fry Ice Cream For cocktails: -Brainkiller -Mai Tai The star of the show was definitely the Hawaiian short ribs, poutine and the avo tempura. The dipping sauces made for me on the avocado tempura. Yum! Overall, the service was fantastic. The gentleman (I wish I got his name!) who helped us was extremely attentive and always was checking in on us if we were ok or if we wanted to order anything else. Not only was he serving, but he was also making the drinks at the bar too! What a multitasker! We also had a special request for the deep fried ice cream to come with a candle so our daughter could blow it out and he did it for her. It made her day! My family was so happy to have tried this place and you should too! It's definitely an amazing experience and the food can't be beat. It's been added to our permanent rotation for us to eat. We can't wait to come back!

The environment is wonderful! It's the perfect place to hang out with friends over one (or two!) of their AMAZING selection of drinks. I had their smoked salmon sushi roll and it was so delicious, with salmon that had the perfect texture and a beautiful presentation. Their Reef Pasta is also delicious, with subtle notes of seafood emulsified with the buttery, white wine sauce. And the waitresses are so kind. Ours was so friendly and respectful, and she knew how to make me feel welcome. Overall, it's a wonderful restaurant and I highly suggest it!

I was incredibly surprised entering this place. The outside looks a bit rundown but once you enter through the doors, the whole world changes you immersed in TIKI. The divers suit in the center and the Easter Island Head really brings the ambiance to the tiki bar. To best describe this place - imagine a big time tiki collector wants to share all his prized tiki memorabilia. So come and enjoy this magnificent collection. The drinks are well made with my favorite being the Elvis. The food was delicious the chicken sandwich was one of the most flavorful ones I've had. The spices are different than your typical fried chicken sandos. The sushi was beautifully presented and not heavy on the rice. The locals only roll is a must have for the spam lovers. The service is friendly but can sometimes be slow due to having only 2 servers going around all the tables. All in all you'll be immersed with the ambiance and the live music that you it makes up for the slower service.

I tried their burger recently and while it was good, there was very little meat. It was mostly fries and a bun. It's a bit pricey for what they offer. Cool decor and vibe though.

This is my second visit and I came to enjoy the happy hour, which was excellent! We sat in the bar and enjoyed a couple of the signature cocktails and sushi rolls, all with happy hour prices. Our bartender was super friendly and helpful in choosing drinks and helped us to have really nice visit. The place has excellent decorations everywhere you look and it's fun just to see what is l lurking around the corner. Great second visit, I will be back for a third!

    Great decor!

We ate here last night for the first time - some friends of ours love this place and wanted to share it with us. We were not disappointed! Walking in, you can't help but love the quirky, eccentric, overstuffed Tiki vibe. I recommend taking a few minutes just to look around and enjoy the decor. It was Wednesday, so they had a live jazz band. Megan, our server, was happy and bubbly and took great care of us throughout the evening. The drinks were amazing (I recommend the Majestic Mai Tai). The food was good...not great...but suited the vibe perfectly. Everything we tried was tasty and fresh. At some point during the evening, every employee came over to say hello and welcome us! Some other reviewers have mentioned the slow/poor service. To them, I say go to your corporate restaurant where they try to turn tables as quickly as possible! These folks are NOT interested in getting you in and out to seat another table. They want you to enjoy your evening and stay awhile. It's just like you are in Hawaii at a local restaurant! We can't wait to go back!

Ambiance good food and the water was great nice and refreshing. I would like to give a shout out to the servers here and the chefs. Good job people keep up the good work. This is David Bravo and Miss Maria say bye.

Located right next to a hotel, this spot was okay. Do beware that the prices here are definitely on the higher end of what you might think. I went with the skirt steak plate and it was pretty good. The drink I ordered was called a Pineapple Pucker, the first few sips was bland up until I really got to the bottom where the alcohol was at, drink itself was not too bad. Service was good, the ambience was great, a little darker inside for my liking simply cause just seeing the menu was rough so do be prepared to use the flashlight on your phone

We came here with a big group of friends on a Saturday night... with our kids. This place is a hidden gem - including live music, delicious food and great service. It has a fun tiki vibe and is great for groups or a fun date night. Easy parking in the street.

The space is really quite large. I was happy to see there was a seafood counter with a display case of smoked fish, a couple of dips, aged beef. The guys were super friendly behind the counter. I spotted the cafe area where they serve coffees and teas - I made a note that I had to come back to try that. Back to the deli counter - they recommended I try the smoked sea bass since they don't get it in often so I took some of that and a smoked salmon collar. The hand roll bar was empty since it was late in the afternoon but too early for dinner. I promised the sushi chef there that I would return. So I went back today with a couple of friends. We sat at that hand roll bar and had the best hand rolls I've ever had. We ordered a la carte and I absolutely loved those creations - full of flavor, texture - unique and tantalizing! I'm curious to go back and try some of the other things on there like the burger? the shabu shabu? I can't wait to see how they serve those items. Their little market area is fascinating as well - with small bottles of soy sauce aged in bourbon barrels and other delicious sounding ingredients. I did end up taking home a shaker bottle of their house made furikake. Can't wait to try that! I'm so happy this is in the neighborhood. It's a great spot to introduce friends to and serves as inspiration for anyone who loves to cook.

I was there with a couple of friends, but I could definitely see couples enjoying the setting. Parking is street parking only, though valet is available if you'd rather not deal with it. The area was busy, but I was able to find a spot without too much effort. We ordered a handful of dishes to share. The standout appetizer for me was the Spam Crispy Rice. The rice was crispy without being overly hard, and the flavors worked really well together. Simple, but done right. The Tempura Cauliflower was another solid choice. It had a nice crunch on the outside, and the tangy sauce gave it enough flavor to keep things interesting without overwhelming the dish. The Crab Cake was probably my favorite item of the night. It was moist, flavorful, and packed with crab rather than filler. Definitely something I'd order again. The Malama Mochiko Chicken was good, but it didn't leave much of an impression compared to the other dishes we tried. Nothing wrong with it, just not the most memorable item on the table. Finally, we shared the Lobster Noodles. They were very garlicky, which I enjoyed, but thankfully not swimming in butter. The lobster was cooked well, and the dish felt rich without being too heavy. Service was attentive throughout the meal, and our food came out at a good pace. Prices are on the higher side, but not surprising given the location, atmosphere, and seafood-focused menu. Overall, I had a good experience and would come back. The crab cake and crispy rice alone are worth another visit.

The ice cream and berries was so good we could have had that for an appetizer, entree and dessert. All of the dishes were well prepared, tasty and served hot. The Mochiko Chicken was very complex. I like to eat mine with no sauce but it had a strong shoyu taste but when I used the tomato ginger dipping sauce it gave it a totally different taste that cut down the salt. I think it was a bit too sophisticated for me. A dish meant for people with a more discerning palate. You can't go wrong with the different plates except for the Mochiko Chicken which if you are adventurous this might be your dish. All of the other dishes we tried were good and we would order again. We certainly plan to go back. Take your friends and/or family for great food and service.
