So far, I had two appointments with this dentistry. I had nothing but wonderful experiences. First time, I had a sensitive tooth. I was able to get an appointment right away. Dr. Nguyen replaced the filling and the sensitivity went away. I didn't need a crown. For the second time, I had a regular checkup and cleaning. They did full scan, full x-ray, full examination including TMJ and very thorough cleaning. It was a great experience. I highly recommend this dentistry. read more

I wanted to love this place because I knew I'd be spending a lot of time there to finally address everything & I just didn't feel comfortable. Several people came & went from the room & I found myself talking to the Dentist eventually but didn't know because she never introduced herself & I had to ask if she was the Dentist. Went back for a consultation with the periodontal specialist who said I needed surgery & bone grafting which is terrifying & was given a summary of charges & went home to look up what surgery & bone grafting looked like because it wasn't explained. Went in for root planing/scaling & the hygenist was nice & comforting at first because I told her I was nervous but I had what I NOW KNOW is called a "hot tooth" because I googled it & she was frustrated that I jumped everytime she touched that tooth & she said "can we agree that you're just very nervous"? Me being transparent & vulnerable & admitting that I'm nervous shouldn't be used against me to make me feel bad later when the other teeth were fine with anasthetic & I flinch on that one particular tooth every time. Each quadrant is $300 and you get 2 quadrants done at the same time. So 14 teeth total. But because they said I needed 4 of them pulled, it was 10 teeth that were cleaned minus the one that couldn't be touched so 9 teeth total but she said the front teeth were fine so that takes away at least 2 teeth each on top/bottom. So that works out to like maybe 5 teeth that were actually planed/scaled for $600. it was just very impersonal & this is a very personal journey that I'm finally ready for so I just didn't feel like I wanted to go through this with them. So I spent $900 total for 2 consultations & maybe 5 teeth cleaned. I learned a very valuable lesson though & that's priceless. I ended up going back to a Dentist that I have personally recommended to 3 people but didn't feel was up to snuff for me because I wanted HIGH END & was willing to pay a high end price. But good quality dentistry doesn't mean you have to pay for their location or decor. I'm going on my 3rd appt with the Dentist I recommended to others & they already feel like family to me. It comes with comfortability & trust so I'm finally ready now :-) read more

After 10 plus years at my previous dentist, I decided to make the move to somewhere closer to my home in Orange. Where else would I look for a recommendation but Yelp. Dr Nguyen was about as close to home as could get and she came with great reviews. I got a cleaning and x-rays done during my first visit and was pleased with the visit including thoroughness, great attitude, great supporting staff, and a clean office. Unfortunately, diagnosed with a cavity which needed filled! This past week I got lucky and someone cancelled and I was able to get on the schedule. This was probably the most pain free filling I have ever had.....she was very good in explaining what she was doing, making sure there was no pain, and thorough. Although she seems to have a very full calendar (especially for the late appointments), I would highly recommend Dr Nguyen....both for adults and children. read more

I love this dentist!! I always put off going before I changed my dentist to this place, and I've never had regrets about it. All the staff is sweet and personable. They don't make you feel like a number and I'm pretty sure it's a mostly all woman staff. They make you feel comfortable and at ease before procedures. It's also clean and there are plenty of spaces to park. Sometimes they'll even let you watch Netflix while getting your teeth cleaned! I love everyone who works here! read more

Thrilled as can be to finally find a dental office that puts customers first over how much they can drain your pocket book! Some background, I had gone to Orange Village Dental near by and out the gate they wanted $900+ to cap a chip tooth. After finding Dr. Nguyen, and reading the great reviews I scheduled my visit. From start to end I can only say Dr. Nguyen is fannomial. So caring, and has an honest concerns over your dental issues. After examining my photos and x-rays, she suggested a fill and repair, and mentioned if down the road it doesn't hold I should plan to have it capped. In-n-out for a reasonable amount. Found my new dental home. The office staff was super professional, they handled covid protocol concerns perfectly and promptly handle the insurance paperwork. I came in to have my crown replaced by this office recently. I already liked them a lot....they are so warm and inviting and I ran into an old friend I hadn't seen in ages, which I call, Kismet. Regarding my crown that had broken off partially, I needed it replaced asap. May I say, they are SUPER impressive and I could not have been more pleased by the outcome. I have an Invisalign nightly retainer that I have to wear in conjunction with permanent top and bottom retainers already in place. So, I was SURE I would have to spend several hundred dollars to have the top retainer replaced. When they completed the crown replacement, it was such a work of art that my retainer FIT PERFECTLY. First visit went fine however 2nd appointment for fillings was never found in the schedule and wanted me to wait another 2 weeks without fillings (total 4 wks). I was nervous to do so, so I searched Yelp reading review after review. I decided I would take my chance with this dentistry and I am glad to say that I am not disappointed. Kaitlyn is amazing. She works with you and at your pace. If you are uncomfortable, she will make you feel more comfortable. She is gentle and very patient during procedures. However, this office is the complete opposite. My first visit was with Dr. Nguyen, and she was excellent. Very gentle, and most importantly didn't try to upsell anything. Since the first impression was great, I decided to go back for a 6 month follow up. And Natalie did a fantastic job, not just gently cleaning my teeth, but also educating me how my brushing habit is damaging my gum. And again, did not try to upsell anything. My husband and I had cleanings this past weekend as they were both able to accommodate us with the same appointment time. I had the most thorough cleaning by Nancy, the hygienist. Nancy educated me a lot about prevention and the proper way to floss etc. You can tell everyone is this office truly cares! After my cleaning was done, Dr. Nguyen (who was cleaning my husband's teeth) came in to discuss my teeth. What I love most about Dr. Nguyen is that she is honest and ethical. She will tell you the things you need to watch versus the things that need to get fixed. She will never sell you dental procedures like other places I've been to. I have never been to a dentistery that has been so helpful, thorough, freindly, informative, gentle and very comforting. The first time I came in, I was greated and assisted very professionally! I asked if new patients were welcomed, and was explained the insurance process. I felt at ease, made my new year appointment, and was given a courtesy call the day prior. The actual appointment was even better. Kaitlyn is completely PROFESSIONAL! I was siked that I had an opportunity to have her as my dentist. I cannot say enough about Kaitlyn and her staff. I grew up going to a specific dentist, but I had to change when my insurance changed. I did not go for 5 years. Then I found Kaitlyn's office off of my sister's referral and been there for over 3 years. My sister is a complete wimp when it comes to pain so I knew if she could hack it there I would be just fine, and I was. The best part is she never tries to sell anything and it has been just basic cleanings and x-rays for good oral hygiene maintenance. Every visit she or her staff work on me, but she will always check their work to make sure it was a quality job and up to her standards. One time I completely forgot about the appointment even though they send a reminder post card about 1 month prior and call a few days prior. Ana from KN Dentistry was extremely helpful, provided great communication and was able to schedule appointment the next day. They are professional and extremely helpful as well as fast. They even helped out with our insurance situation with Delta Dental in order to try to save us money. I am definitely not the best person when it comes to keeping up with oral care, and I tend to skip dentists offices due to being both terrified of previous visits and being uninsured. However, my work insurance finally kicked in and I thought I should probably bite the bullet. After an extensive Yelp search, I found Dr. Kaitlyn's practice. I made an appointment for the next day and hoped it would be a much better experience than those I have had with previous dentist visits, which usually end in my getting scolded and embarrassed by a dentist. Well, I just got back from said appointment and I have to say, it was a phenomenal experience. The staff was all so helpful and polite, the rooms were bright with big, beautiful windows that helped me forget that I was in a potentially scary place, and Dr. Nguyen was kind, efficient, and very gentle. I had my teeth and gums cleaned by Mary, who was also just incredibly kind and funny. They never once made me feel bad for asking questions and made my first trip back to the dentist an absolute pleasure. Dr. Kaitlyn Nguyen has been our family dentist for the past five years. The level of professionalism, courtesy, and honesty extended by Dr. Nguyen and her staff has exceeded our expectation. Prior to visiting Dr. Nguyen's office, our family of four had been bouncing from dentist to dentist in search of a reputable and sincere professional. Most, as you know, wanted to milk our insurance company and wallet through various treatment schemes. Our strenuous quest ended when we set foot into the office. Her entire staff - Sherry (office manager), Huong and Mary (dental hygienists) genuinely offer service with a smile. Truthfully, dentistry hasn't been my favorite pastime. Following a great deal of procrastination, I decided to proceed with two operations and was referred to Dr. Calvin Dang, a periodontist affiliated with Dr. Nguyen's office. I couldn't ask for a more gentle and skillful treatment and am still kicking myself for not acting sooner. First impression: This place is so chic and clean! Granted, it's a new office but everything was so neat and clean and so pleasing to the eye. First impression of the assistants: Kimberly was so nice. Loved her smile and how friendly she was. Cleaning: The most gentle hands I've ever had handling my teeth. Oh, and the first time ever in history a dentist actually flossed my teeth for me... Like the conventional, string floss. Thoughts on the dentist: Dr. Kaitlyn was so sweet and genuine. I was told by Gentle Dental that my fillings needed replacing and it would've cost me at least $600. I held off and asked Dr. Kaitlyn. Guess what, they're fine! Horrible custome service! This business is all about money and doesnt care about their patients. Last year, after my son was born I started going to Dr. Nguyen for my dental care. Having a toddler and a baby that time, there were appointments that I wasnt able to keep due to babysitting problem but I always call to cancel. This year, during the pandemic I received a bill from them for cancelling one of my appointments with a note written "if payment is not receive on time account will be sent to a collection agency". Really? Are they serious? During the pandemic? I paid the bill because i felt pressure to pay it. But what about those people who are financially struggling during this time and cant make a payment? Besides worrying about rent and food , they have to worry about collection calls for a missing a dental appointment. In my opinion, that is just being inconsiderate. Give your business to somewhere else who cares about people and not just money especially during this time . Those are the businesses we want to support because they are the ones that give back to the community. read more

I've been in need of a good cleaning for well over a year, and was too scared to choose a dentist since I'm new to the area and the process of finding a dentist I could trust was a tall order. When a friend recommended her dentist Dr. Kaitlyn Nguyen, I decided to go for it. I just had my x-rays, exam, and cleaning done today and could not be happier! Needless to say, I had a lot of "stuff" to work through because not only am I a tea lover, but I had missed my last routine cleaning. Dr. Nguyen got rid of all my tea stains and my teeth are now sparkling clean and smooth. She was extremely kind, competent, and perhaps most importantly, she worked hard on the "gunk" while still being completely gentle on me/my gums and teeth -- I experienced zero discomfort or pain whatsoever. I am the type to ask lots of questions to really understand a process, and am no different when it comes to dental care. Dr. Nguyen was patient and provided useful knowledge, and even gave me a new product to help me with any tooth sensitivity that might arise. Dr. Nguyen's assistant Christina was also very sweet and gracious. Everyone made my experience ultra pleasant. OK....I don't like going to dentist and only visit when im forced! I was in agony for 2 days and went to Dr Nguyen only because she was down the street from my job and could see me in an hour. Let me say this...I love the woman and her assistant Kimberly...they are funny, kind and patient...everything you want i, a dentist...I was immeadiately,comfortable with them and happy I chose the office...when,i it was only an accident.. ,i,needed a crown and hated paying for it,but,i did.. Disappointed, scheduled a cleaning (took time off work), however refused to clean my teeth without X-rays. I had X-rays a year ago, don't need them, nor does the dental hygienist to do the job. If I have old X-rays emailed they will then clean my teeth, too late, already burned vacation time for this. My insurance indicated some dentist encourage X-rays because they pay out 100% when billed for X-rays, however most offices don't require them to do a cleaning. Absolute scam, no wonder a lot of people pay cash for treatment out of country. To be fair, will say office is very clean and staff is otherwise polite. read more

horrible horrible horrible dentist!!! did i mention she's horrible?? i was a new patient last year while sitting in the chair waiting for dr to come in a few different people were coming in & out finally one stayed & i had to ask "are you the dr" she said yes... did not even introduce herself to me. i've been to a number of drs in my day & this is the 1st one who failed to introduce herself to a new patient. had some things done, a crown that i had to go in 4 times for adjustment she blamed it on the shape of my teeth which is a load of crap because the crown she replaced i never had problems w/it. she also talked me into bonding a couple teeth & the teeth she bonded she scraped off the excess material onto my teeth that is still there. feels like my teeth are constantly covered in plaque. i mentioned this to her she said it was plaque & i wasn't brushing very good. i use the sonic care & said "even w/a sonic care" & she just stared at me like i was speaking a different language. she never answered. and i know better, i brush my teeth all the time. She insulted me by saying that & I felt so humiliated because I know I take good care of my teeth & she was turning her crappy bonding work back on me by blaming me I don't brush good enough she was just putting the blame of her crappy bonding job onto me. and anna the girl who makes the appts ripped me a new one when i called in to make yet another appt for my crown "you have to come in immediately" i tried to tell her i'd been in several times before, stupid little girl wouldn't let me get a word in edgewise. i almost asked if she was allowed to talk to me like that... oh and the violent way the dr moves your head from side to side when she's working on you. grabbing your forehead & moving it or pushing it w/her stomach. its very rough & aggressive! needless to say i'll never go back. you can't even joke w/her. her bedside manner is like a stone. i'd get better reaction or at least a smile from a quack... I don't get all the positive reviews for her. They must make up profiles & post positive reviews about her because the truth is the opposite. imo stay away read more
