    Chicken Marsala

We had the chicken Marsala and it was great. Along with a bottle of Zin it made the whole dinner. Wished we lived closer we would eat here every meal.

This was the first place I ate in the city of Arnold and my family and I loved it! I picked up take out from here and ordered the Gyro Plate, Gyro Salad, Mediterranean Chicken Pasta and Chicken Chopped Salad with sides of pita bread and lemon chicken soup. Everything was so fresh and delicious! I can't stop thinking about the Chicken Chopped Salad and the pita bread. It is definitely the best pita bread we've had! We even saw the chef making the pita bread when we arrived to the restaurant. The staff was so friendly on the phone and in person! The restaurant had a very nice vibe and looks like a great date night and family dinner spot! Can't wait to go back to Arnold just to stop here again!

Overall it was a good experience. The food was great, the ambiance was comfortable, and the service was fine. In my opinion I think the service could've been a little better, our waiter didn't smile at us one time and seemed miserable being there on a Saturday night. The hummus with pita break is to die for, a must order!

Delicious and healthy Greek food hit the spot after a day of hiking. We ate outside on a perfect fall afternoon. The waitress was so nice and attentive making sure everything was to our liking. We will be coming back here again for a dinner date night next time.

    Chicken kebab- chicken was dry.

I really wanted to love this place especially since I was really looking forward to Greek food. But my chicken kebab was really dry. A dollop of tzaziki sauce would have saved it. Husband liked the chicken marsala though. Giving an extra star for the great service. The service was excellent and our waitress was very attentive and patient with my two kids.

Food was great, actually we were pleasantly surprised. This was our first visit to a relatively new restaurant in Arnold. The service was excellent since we were the only ones there at 3:15 in the afternoon. Other restaurants close between 2 to 5 PM this is a great option to driving down to Murphy where it's quite busy and parking is difficult. We outside so I have no idea what the inside looks like, but I was told it's white linens and very classy.

Excellent service! Excellent food and wine! Great ambiance! We will go back! Portions are big ... had left overs for lunch. We had the flaming cheese (delicious and theatrical), the lamb chops (perfectly medium rare like we wanted) and the gyro plate (delicious)! Soup and salad came with our dishes. And lots of pita with the cheese.

We had a couple of salads on a Sunday afternoon and they were quite good. We'd come back here again when we're in town.

We ordered a few things such as as the duck prosciutto sandwich, raw oysters, clam chowder, and the absolute star of the show, a side of the spicy habanero garlic butter! The bread for the duck prosciutto sandwich was amazing. I just wish they put more meat and/or fixing because the sandwich was on the smaller side given the price tag. Tasty for sure, especially dipping the sandwich into the garlic butter. Oysters were super fresh, and wouldn't hesitate to order again. They have a bunch of jams and hot sauces that you can buy to take home, along with pre-packaged habanero garlic butter (which we ended up buying and have been putting on everything we've been eating). Definitely recommend picking up this butter for at-home cooking because it adds a nice layer of spice to any meal without being overly spicy. For the jams, there's so many options and the staff was kind enough to do a jam sampling with us and after tasting we ended up with a jar of their padron pepper jelly. Put it on my sandwich at home, instantly elevated it to another level. Staff from start to finish was a 10/10. Very kind, super attentive, and made us feel very welcomed. Overall, I'll definitely will be back to buy more of the spicy garlic butter and jams!

My husband was even quicker. After visiting Calaveras Big Trees State Park on a colder Monday in October, we made a stop at their deli because we remembered eating a sandwich there 10 years ago or so. Our memory served us well as the Giant Sequoia sandwich was fabulous: Dutch Crunch bread, bacon, avacado, turkey, lettuce, tomato, and more. The service was quick and the sandwich was great. Perfect combination!

At 7:01, an announcement came on saying the store had been closed for one minute and to head to the register. Totally fair. I needed one more thing from produce so I hurried- another announcement at 7:02 said to "stop shopping- we are closed" I grabbed my last item and went up front. By 7:03, I was already being checked out. And yet the reaction from staff was... unbelievable. There were several employees standing at the front just staring at me--clearly irritated, like I'd personally ruined their evening. It was three minutes past closing. Not 30. Not 15. Three. Then it somehow got worse. They were out of bags (understandable), so I asked if I could use the hand basket to carry my items to my car, which was literally parked right in front of the doors to the store. I was told no, "these baskets cant leave the store"--and that I needed to go outside and get a cart instead. So I had to run out, grab a cart, and come back in... while the entire staff stood there watching me. There must have been 6 or 7 employees glaring at me with dirty looks like I had insulted them personally. The older checker was grumpy and rude, but honestly the whole team contributed to making the experience feel hostile and unwelcoming. I completely understand wanting to close on time. But if ringing someone up at 7:03 feels like a crisis to your staff, that's a management issue--not a customer problem. Also- why not sell reusable bags if you run out of bags so often? I would have bought one to make it faster for me to exit the store. Seems like a simple solution to avoid the extreme stress your staff is experiencing

They come with soup, entree, carb: half and half noodles +rice or just noodles/rice. They had a hot and sour soup and I downed almost two bowls of it as the kids refused to have theirs. I enjoyed the bits of tofu in it. For my lunch entree I picked the house special chicken. And man was I in for a treat. It was thinly cut strips of chicken in an addictive sauce with jalapeños in it. We debated our options for food before continuing our drive back home and d cided to find a Chinese food place. The Arnold Chinese Restaurant fit our requirements well. My litmus test for a new place is to order beef chow fun. I was pleasantly surprised when they had it on the menu. It's something that you have to have a constant fresh source for it to have a chance of being good. Secondly, even though I forgot to stipulate "dry-cooked", that's how they prepared it. (Proper chow fun is not served with goopy sauce). The seasoning of fermented black beans was perfect! Not something from a jar, but whole, fermented blacks beans full of taste. It was pretty good, overall. The server brought our food out very quickly, hot and fresh off the wok. I had to wait some minutes while it cooled down enough to eat. When I took my first bite, I was very pleased. The taste was spot-on. Their chef knows how to cook. Fortunately, the portion was fairly generous, too, as I realized how hungry I was. My friend had ordered a few different things stir fried, like garlic eggplant and tofu. It looked well-prepared, as well. It was quite a nice surprise that we found such a good Chinese restaurant in Little old Arnold.
