This place has become a staple for my friends, co-workers and I. Their service/staff is very friendly. The food and drinks are great. My favorites here are the enchiladas-both the shrimp and chicken, the pasta and the taquitos and when I have room their flan. They offer happy hour and daily specials M-Th with great deals. My friends and I have also been to their Sunday brunch which is all-you-can-eat with bottomless mimosas. The variety of food offered during brunch is amazing although the mimosas are just a tad watered down. I highly recommend checking this local favorite. Only downside is it can get noisy because they celebrate birthdays often here, but just join in on the cheering and you'll have a great time. read more

Starter made us leave the restaurant.... We enjoyed visit to Kalaveras in Temecula and were hoping for similar or better experience with this location. Unfortunately, this wasn't the case. The waitress had a real attitude, When I asked her for the cilantro for my barbacoa plate, she said the kitchen told her that the cilantro was on the plate (2 sprigs, as a garnishment). Really? Then she told me there would be a$1.95 charge for a small dish of cilantro. Then she said the kitchen told her they ran out. LIES! When the Manager finally made it to our table, he got an earful. He told us that there is no charge for vegetables, such as cilantro, salsa, etc. He took $15 off the bill. This is why tips are based on service, not entitlement. I will NOT go back. read more

The food is good, I'm comparison to other brunch buffets. they don't have a large variety to select from, but it does a job. Came out to Moreno Valley to meet my mom halfway for lunch. I thought we were just gonna do your typical chain restaurant down the street, but she had looked up this place and wanted to come here. Just upon driving up, she loved how the restaurant looked. She loved what they were playing on the TV and she absolutely loved the taquitos she had. My mom has lived in San Diego for 40 years. She is very picky about her Mexican food and has very high standards. This place met all of her standards lol mine too!! So apparently they started closing at 11:30 and not 2 AM. She just said they are in the process of updating their hours. Didn't order food this time, but I did have tacos on the taco Tuesday and they are pretty good very flavorful small but flavorful and large portions of meat in each little taco and they have a full salsa bar to add your toppings. Went for taco Tuesday. Read a review from 4 months ago that sign said .99 cent tacos. New sign says $1.49. You get three "naked" street tacos and then you go to the "stuff" bar and add all the stuff you want. All and all pretty good deal even at $1.49. I am still stumped on the chips and salsa trick in the area. I eat out a lot and whenever I go to a Mexican restaurant they never offer me chips and salsa. Was sitting at bar and couple people came in and they brought it with the menu. Like boom. Here ya go. Maybe I don't look like a chips and salsa person. Service was a little slow at the bar for the amount of people. There is a funny smell by the one end of the bar. Not sure what that is. All and all pretty good Tuesday dinner. I'm I. The military and work at March AFB. I went in at 11.. 2 other customers in the place when I walked in and sat at the bar. 1 waiter drops off chips and salsa and then I sit there for 10 minutes completely ignored. I played on my phone.. looked around.. contemplated life.. I USED to go here for lunch regularly.... Finally after I figured I wouldn't be helped I got up and walked out and not one of the staff said a word. My unit USE to do goi g away and promotion parties here pretty regularly. Awesome food at Kalaveras Moreno Valley last week. I've gotta say, I was throughly impressed with the quality of the food and the service. For food, I had the potato rolled tacos, tacos gobernador, and barbocoa plate. The potato rolled tacos were presented so beautifully and were full of flavor. I did not expect them to be so good. My shrimp tacos were outta this world. The plate came with 3, but I was full after 2. The meat plate was good, and even better a few hours later. All of the food tasted authentic and fresh. Even the service was on point. Kalaveras is a Cantina, so natural there's gonna be loud music. Our server overheard my moms complaint that it was too loud on there and went ahead and turned the music way down on our section so we could hear ourselves think. I truly appreciated gesture. First visit and absolutely loved it. Came to celebrate my husband's birthday after being recommended by my mom. The interior is fun and decorated nicely. The music is fun and sets a good vibe. Our server was awesome! Shoutout to Miguel! He found out it was our first time and had really great energy and good recommendations. He definitely made it fun. The drinks are AMAZING. I didn't know Riverside/Moreno Valley had so many locations of this restaurant. A friend and I tried it out tonight and we were pleasantly surprised by the portions and price. Lucky for us, we just caught happy hour so got $5 off drinks and $2 off tacos! The vibes in there are so fun! The music is loud and the music videos are so entertaining. If you're looking to celebrate a birthday (and take some shots) this is definitely the place to be. Keep in mind the music does play louder in here so if you're looking for quiet you're at the wrong place. The food portions were huge. The only taco that I thought was dry was the barbacoa. The taquitos were so moist and absolutely a must get! The drink was a little strong but super delicious. Our server, Destiny, was so kind and attentive. I have nothing but great things to say about the service! We were kindly checked in on every once in a while. In contrast, the drinks were colorful. My date enjoyed her food, but she did say it was a bit bland and dry. The exterior was ample, good parking, the seating outside was comfortable and lively. Overall, the server and the bar attendant were responsive and courteous. Moreno Valley bringing in some new vibes! Love the location and the food is yummy. The only thing I think gets me every time is our bill adds up quick here. It's good as a dinner or lunch but our average bill for 2 here is $150+ which is ok for drinks included. But sometimes we go add just order appetizers and one drink and our bill is still the same range. Just a thought singles and people trying to just make a date night be prepared all drinks are $18 and up and appetizers $22 and up. read more

Ambiance: So, I'm torn. Because I wouldn't necessarily call it family friendly because they do play music with some language. But it isn't terrible. But the vibe is definitely dope. You definitely tasted the alcohol lol which is what is important when ordering a drink right? Kudos to the bartender. Had the horchata colada and Chupacabra margarita. Both recommended. I got the Huevos Rancheros, 3 out of 5. Just didn't hit the sweet spot for me but others at the table enjoyed it. The Barbacoa was a big hit at the table. Those plates went back clean.
