It was busy with people picking up orders, but our wait was only about 10 minutes, and the cashier was very friendly. I honestly loved my Mediterranean bowl. The combination of hummus, couscous, tzatziki, and all the fresh flavors was something different, and I'd definitely order it again. My husband wasn't nearly as impressed, and my son had a hard time finding a sauce he liked. He ended up eating only half of his bowl. Unfortunately, the price was hard to overlook. Spending over $50 for three bowls and drinks felt expensive. Add in the loud music and an employee who acted like I was inconveniencing her when I asked for a different sauce, and it took away from the experience. For me personally, the food earns high marks, but as a family restaurant, it didn't quite hit the mark. I'd come back solo if I was craving Mediterranean, but probably not with the whole family.

I went with the baked(!) strawberry banana oat buckwheat pancakes. Super tasty, and a generous portion. I also couldn't resist an oil-free sunbutter cookie (with its wacky bluegreen tinge that was apparently from the sunflower seeds) and also loved the cold brew coffee with cashew milk.

Super sad. But did it taste good? No. In addition to being all bread, some cheese, and no meat, they went so heavy with the mustard that the whole thing was just a yellow mess. But the $15.00 salad and $6.50 up charge for the farm fresh chicken breast was amazing right? Again sadly no. The greens and veg were pretty fresh, but an uninspiring flat combination - didn't taste bright and were fighting each other the whole time. The stock tahini dressing is okay, but again maybe 5/10 for the salad - which is supposed to be right in their wheelhouse. And the chicken was a joke - MAYBE 80g (that's not much) of chicken breast overcooked and cut in little tiny pieces. Pretty sad showing overall and stupid expensive for what it was. I think the salad and the burger were like $40 before tip. Sad sad sad. Save it - go to In N Out or Wendy's. It's better and way cheaper.

Well, just like it seems like every food spot asks for a "tip" nowadays, I noticed that the customers who chose to tip them (for who knows why ‍) received their orders on a plate to eat in the restaurant. I noticed two other customers who chose "no tip" received their orders in "to go" bags. When I payed for my order, I also chose not to pay a tip because there's simply no reason to pay a tip for pick up places like this. And I also received a "to go" bag. Maybe this is all in my head or just coincidence, but it would be weird to see this happening to everyone who chooses to tip or not to tip, during the 15-20min eating time I had there. So due to these weird things, that's why I chose 3/5 stars. I've never seen another business question a customer asking for more sauce not ever seen them take customers not tipping and personal vendetta's. ‍

I say this as a long-time Salad and Go customer. Salad and Go always had the highest quality ingredients with the lowest possible prices. That's long gone, imho. This morning, here at the Queen Creek store was the most recent example of this. I ordered 3 breakfast burritos, which only keep going up in price, only to find that the fillings tasted like day-old eggs, bacon, and meat. We ate the food but not with much enjoyment. The tortillas were fresh, and the iced coffees were fine. The staff were friendly, service was fast, orders accurate, but I don't see myself returning for a while. I only wish there was one of those Prime Grill places this close to home, here in QC. Too much for too little. Sorry, Salad. I have to go.
