A great experience with a great outcome. I'm not normally the type of guy who gets my hair cut at a Salon. It's normally just a quick barber cut that I find more of a chore. Imagine my great surprise when I found my self enjoying every part of Kaleo's experience. This place definitely puts the costumiers first. After my first cut was so good I desired to be experimental and give color a try. It worked out wonderfully!

I had my extensions put in 3 months ago and wanted to wait a while to see how they worked out before I left a review. If you are thinking about it, don't hesitate GET THEM!! The quality of the extensions are impeccable. My hair feels so soft and healthy. I don't have to do much to style it. I can let it air dry and it will give me a natural wave. When I use a curling iron the curls stay ALL DAY!! Thank you, Kaleo these extensions have been life changing and I've never felt more confident.

As I searched and searched for a miracle fix on YouTube a friend of mine said, give it up! Go see a professional and thank heaven, referred me to Kaleo. He analyzed my butchered mess, asked what I wanted, and I was just grateful for his expertise. He took into account my complexion, the shape of my face, my natural hair color, and even showed me how to find my natural part. My hair is about 40% white, 40% gray, and 20% black. The hair color he used worked its magic and absorbed 100%! I've never had that before as my stubborn sideburn areas always fail to take on the full color. WOW! It's so hard to find the perfect stylist, but the search is over! Client for life!

This is my second trip to see Kaleo (my wife also goes to him) and the second experience was just as great as the first. He does a great job of asking what you want and then running with it. Outside of the haircut itself, the salon is not like any other I've been in and offers privacy and comfort. Looking forward to coming back soon. read more

It was amazing. What a beautiful salon with beautiful people. Kaleo really pays attention to what you want and is very detailed in everything he does. I even got a cheese plate while I waited. Best haircut I ever got, and opted for a little color just to see what kind of extra magic he could bring out. Barely 15 minutes out the door and I got a compliment from the cute cashier at Target. Kaleo is a color expert and gives the best hair cuts! I have difficult to color, thick, gray hair and had resigned myself to an unflattering color just to have those grays blend in. Fast forward 10 years, needed a new hair stylist and found Kaleo. I am so thankful for his honesty and talent! I'm back to a darker shade and loving the creativity Kaleo takes in making sure the color is rich and gorgeous! He uses Guy Tang color line and I cannot say enough about the quality and he always customizes the color to make sure it's perfect for my complexion (I look younger!). His salon is upscale, private and he really takes care of his clients (refreshments provided)! After my last visit, I booked my next 12 appointments - client for life. Great location, plenty of parking. Also, there are waxing, facial and other services in the same complex of businesses - very convenient! read more

Brenda has owned and operated her studio for over 20 years, and it's clear she brings a wealth of knowledge and care to her work. Since she runs the business on her own, we scheduled our appointments at separate times, which actually made for a relaxing solo experience for each of us. The facial lasted a little over an hour and began with a gentle cleansing, followed by a deeply soothing massage of the shoulders, neck, and face. I wasn't quite sure what my skin needed, but I mentioned that I'm prone to psoriasis and dry patches. Brenda recommended the papaya enzyme facial, which left my skin feeling both clarified and deeply hydrated. The treatment room was kept dim throughout, with calming instrumental music playing in the background--perfect for unwinding. Overall, it was a peaceful and restorative experience, and I'm already looking forward to booking my next visit.

I've tried this with 3 other aestheticians prior -- one had recommended Erica while she was traveling and the other two I never went back to because the results were mediocre and one even caused my lashes to crinkle (!!!). Btw if you don't know what a lash lift is, it's like a push-up bra for your lashes. The treatment uses chemicals to lift and curl your lashes and can last from 6-8 weeks. Because there are chemicals, it's important you go to a reputable and knowledge person that understands how to adjust the process according to your lashes to avoid damaging / over processing. Plus the treatment Erica uses has keratin which is less damaging! Although I live almost an hour drive away from Erica, I religiously drive to see her every 6-8 weeks to get my straight Asian lashes lifted. Erica is super meticulous and will get every lash (including the baby ones on the corners) lifted beautifully! I always come out feeling like a million bucks and can get away with not putting on makeup every day which saves so much time. Tl;dr I LOVE the results of getting my lashes lifted with Erica, and trust Erica 150% with my lashes!! Also, recommend doing a growth lash serum every day (like Rodan & Fields which I find works really and saw results after 2 months) to lengthen your lashes. I use this in conjunction with the YUMI Keratin lash serum Erica sells to strengthen my lashes so I can maintain healthy and beautiful lashes!

Her name was mentioned several times all with great things to say so I scheduled the same day to find all the reviews were true. Highly recommend you book with her if visiting this location! Nina was friendly, informative, so kind, funny and overall professional. She took great care to ensure I was happy with my service. Really important to share that the waxers at EWC locations have a limited window of time to help you so it's important you show up on time so they have all that time to help you instead of doing a fast job to stay in that window. Rooms are very bright and they ask you to undress while the waxer is in the room. Not sure if this is for me as my esthetician's space has a light dimmer and she also provides privacy and a cover for you to use so you're not completely naked on your bottom half. She then uses those glasses with lights to do her job. Plays soothing music. Whole 9 yards. She also charges significantly less than this place. She charges me $45. EWC charges $70! She can't be beat especially when she books out an hour for your Brazilian vs the 15 minutes waxers get here. Place likely won't be one I come back to regularly but I will return for Nina when I need to.

They are always very friendly and accommodating for a walk-in appointment. The salon is hygienic and clean. They also have a very nice selection of gel polish colors, especially cateye colors. I recently had an ingrown toenail (my first ever in 33 years) after my latest visit but the owner was quick to help communicate this with the nail tech doing my pedicure so it doesn't happen again. This made me feel very understood and respected as a regular customer here. The owner also tries to remember the regulars at the salon and always offer a warm welcoming, which is very nice of her. They offer a discount for cash payments, but also accept Venmo (even for tips) while credit card has a small charge. I think their prices are very reasonable and definitely cheaper than the last salon I went to before switching to Pedi Nail Lounge. There is a large shared parking lot in front so plenty of parking nearby. I also like that there is a coffee shop (Blvd coffee), food spot (Chispiro's) and Lucky Grocery store right next door that makes the location extremely convenient for me. 5/5 , definitely recommend if you're looking for a new nail salon

That's the reason I keep coming back. Unfortunately, the scheduling and appointment management have become really frustrating. Almost every time I book with a specific technician, I don't actually get the person I requested. On top of that, even with an appointment, I regularly wait 30-45 minutes past my scheduled time before getting started. What should be a normal appointment turns into me being there for close to 3.5 hours. I also feel bad for the technicians because they seem overbooked and overwhelmed. The salon accepts so many walk-ins that the staff barely gets a break, and it affects the overall experience for both customers and employees. I truly want to continue supporting this business because the work itself is excellent, but I hope management improves scheduling, honors technician requests, and stops overbooking appointments.

I do not think they keep track of appointments and, if they do, I simply cannot imagine how. I have tried texting and the response I get every time is "ok", even if I ask a question in my appointment request. I've tried making an appointment online and the appointment slots are always available and open, which can't be true. While in the salon, I've seen them answer the phone when someone calls to make an appointment, they are always on speakerphone, and I have never seen anyone write anything down after the phone call, they say ok and then just continue to work. Out of the 5 or 6 times I've been here I have only been seen at the time of my appointment once. Once! I am often waiting 30-45 mins and I stay because I have a very tight schedule and make appointments on the only days I can. I'm currently sitting waiting for my 5:00 appointment and it is 5:40 and there are 5 others also waiting, though I don't know what time their appointments are or were. (At 5:06 my manicurist asked me to wait 15 mins and I said fine....but I ended up leaving at 5:45 because she was doing someone's pedicure.) I have always been happy with the services I've received here and their prices are reasonable, which are the reasons for the 2 stars, but I simply will not be back due to their constant lack of respect of "appointment times".

I am excited for the opportunities that lie ahead for Kaleo. I have been a happy customer of his for about 8 years when he was still in Hawaii. Kaleo is attentive to your needs and is very efficient. He is also an honest man who will be truthful about whether or not a particular cut or color would be suitable for the look you are wishing to achieve. He is thoughtful about any recommendations he makes and is always respectful. I feel comfortable when I'm sitting in his chair and know that I will be well taken care of. I totally recommend Kaleo's Kreations, this is my second time coming in for a body wax, and he is probably the most professional of all waxers I have ever been to. He is completely great sanitation skills and extremely professional. He makes you feel very good about the experience that you were about to have, I totally recommend him. I always get a manzillian, and there is never an issue, he always explains aftercare in full detail. Kaleo was amazing! He colored and cut my wife's hair and it turned out incredible. He also trimmed my beard and I love it! My wife has the hardest time finding a person that can cut her hair because it's naturally curly. He was very comfortable and gave her a really good advice on how she should get it done to make it look the best. I can surely say her hair hasn't looked this good in years.
