This restaurant never fails to disappoint! Amazing value for your money and great food. This is the only takeout I've been to that doesn't cut corners anywhere and still manages to keep their prices low. I also asked for extra sauce and they sure did give me extra sauce!! 10000/10

Food is horrible no matter how many different items I try. In 2020 was probably the last time something from there was good. Never Again!!!!

In the past we really liked the food. However, our last visit was not up to our past experience - we threw out the left overs.

I whole heartedly agree with Anthony S. The daughter is mean and the food is 80% bad and 20% good. Not a good ratio to have.

The "Triple Rainbow" combo was good as well - with beef, chicken and some very nice shrimp.

About 2 minutes later, I went to the counter again to order pork lo mein and wonton soup. The staff member was visibly irritated and rudely said, "You have to tell us. You didn't say anything and now the dumplings are almost done." It felt unnecessary, considering I hadn't finalized my order and told them I would take another look at the menu. Food wise: The pork lomein was a bland and both the noodles and pork were a bit dry. The pork tasted off in addition to the poor texture. I wouldn't order it again. On the other hand, the wonton soup was delicious with deep flavor in the broth. Best wonton soup I've had from a casual restaurant. It was hot, flavorful, and not oily. The wontons were good as well. The filling had good flavor and the wrapper was a nice texture. The restaurant itself was calm and dim with a decent amount of seating available inside.

Both the dim sum menu and a lunch menu with standard Chinese restaurant fare were available. My party got the general tso's chicken from the lunch menu, and it was exceptional. Good-quality white meat with just enough spice. Heads up, though, the lunch dishes don't come with rice, so order that separately. From the dim sum menu, we ordered braised tripe with ginger & scallion, fried shrimp rolls, shrimp dumplings, steamed chicken buns, and crab meat soup dumplings. The braised tripe was a standout. It was cooked in a light yet flavorful sauce of ginger and scallion with the tripe's own broth. The delicateness of the sauce worked perfectly with the tripe. The dumplings were all great, especially the soup dumplings. The steamed chicken bun was the only thing I'd skip. It was on the heavier side, and the filling was just okay. The bill came out to about what I expected for the amount of food we ordered--$65 before tip. The service was friendly, and taking our order and getting the food was quick. After the food arrived, though, it was a little difficult to flag down a server to order more and later to get the check. Still, it was understandable given how busy they were, constantly collecting orders and putting out food. Overall, Canton Palace is a great find for anyone looking for this style of Chinese food outside of the usual New York neighborhoods.

As someone who cooks I was extremely disappointed. I should have sent back but they didn't seem to have any interest in our experience & there was a language barrier. Gets a star because hot and sour soup was fine and was heated appropriately and the sesame chicken with broccoli was good. Also can't give zero stars here...... wish I could. They charge $4 for rice and then grudgingly package it with leftovers. Entire restaurant had open tables but they stuck us against the servers alley that leads to kitchen. We had the staff behind us at a large table chattering away loudly while we tried to eat and talk. It was a mess. My husband paid the server in cash. They attempted to keep our change. I had to repeat myself multiple times asking for our change to come back. It almost seemed deliberate. So unprofessional. And yet my kind husband tipped the waitstaff generously; he's far kinder than I would have been. Not a class act restaurant. Will NEVER go back. REGRET that we chose this restaurant on our day out. =(

Everything arrived quickly and was hot. The General Tso's chicken is indeed passable, exactly as I had hoped. The only problem is that the pancakes for the moo shu pork is a traditional Chinese dish from Shandong, typically made with sliced pork, scramb are covered in mold. I took a picture in case I needed to post it but I don't see a way to do that here for this review (this is my first Yelp review). In any case, expect a non-exceptional chinese-food experience and you won't be disappointed. I just hope it's safe to eat, given the moldy pancakes... I don't fault them for it *that* much, considering the pancakes are not made by them anyway and that they were probably sitting there rolled up in plastic wrap waiting for someone to order moo shu, for who knows how long.

I never write bad reviews but my god avoid this place like the plague.

The food is consistently delicious and fresh. The staff is always friendly and happy to help you. I should also add that the price is very fair for the amount of food that they give you. No matter the day, the wait is never more than 20 minutes when we call ahead and it's clearly just a smooth operation inside.
