The food, no matter what time is consistent and delicious. Believe it or not the French fries are the worst thing I've had! They have a Tuna Tartare that is a generous portion and include mango minced up in it. My only suggestion would be to add more mango and avocado...and instead of the "chips" do a bowl OR top with crumbles for a crunch with every bite. The pretzel sticks are so so good. Come with beer cheese. If you have more than 3 people order 2 orders cuz there's only 3...and trust me they are delicious! Mozzarella Sticks were perfectly gooey and crunchy! The lettuce wraps were one of my favorite lettuce wraps I've ever had. A little spicy, served warm and doesn't even need the lettuce wraps to eat and enjoy. I'm not a hot dog fan, but heard from someone else at the table that it's outstanding. The French dip is a MUST! The owners are typically around daily. My interactions have been mostly with Darin who seems to treat his patrons like family. (Or maybe I'm special ‍) I come from a BIG Italian family so it's nice to feel like family even in a big time place. Highly recommend!

Since it was late, we shared some chicken wings that were super tasty and fresh, not like they came from a freezer bag. The place was spacious, with tables, chairs, and cozy booths, which I loved. What stood out were the numerous TVs showing various sports games; it was the most I've ever seen in one place! It's perfect for a casual meal while catching a game. They also have a bar for drinks, and I noticed another room that seemed like a private party area. Our server was exceptionally friendly and attentive, making the service top-notch. I'm already planning a return trip to explore more of the menu and catch a sports game.

Had a great experience at Oak & Rye - this place is perfect for a date night…read more The food is consistently excellent, especially their pasta. The gnocchi is honestly one of the best I've had across the Bay Area - perfectly cooked, rich, and super satisfying. Their pizzas are just as impressive: well-cooked, flavorful, and made with great ingredients. Dessert panna cotta was a great way to end the meal. What really stands out is the service. The staff is incredibly kind and accommodating. I once called in because I was running late for my reservation, and they happily adjusted it by 15 minutes without any hassle. They're always courteous and go out of their way to make your experience great, including accommodating small customizations to suit your preferences. The ambiance is cozy and inviting, making it a place you'll want to come back to again and again. On top of that, the pricing feels very reasonable for the quality of food and service you get. Overall, it's a must-visit spot in Los Gatos--highly recommended!

We sat at a table in the bar side of the restaurant, the music playing IMO was great and it is loud enough to here but not loud enough where you could not have a conversation (perfect) I ordered the Loverboy Pie (comes with crushed tomato, mozzarella, pecorino, double sausage, pepperoncini, garlic oregano, and basil (I added pineapple. wifey ordered the Gnocchi, made in house comes with Kale, butternut squash, basil pesto, parmigiano, garlic, and chili flakes. (added Sausge) and for dessert we both ordered the chocolate mousse. The Pie crust was very soft, not crispy but that does not mean bad, just different. unfortunately the dough was a little chewy (maybe a little high in gluten?) and the pizza tasted like a Totinon's frozen sausage pizza, again...not necessarily bad but I expected a lot more (I did pick up on the flavor of Oregano) but still I felt it was lacking. The Gnocchi were soft and creamy and the sauce was spot on, (this is a very good dish) The chocolate Mousse is the bomb! they use a lot of semi sweet chocolate with whipped cream? and almonds on top. This is a must to satisfy any sweet tooth.

Wednesdays at 7pm with Emily and Angela are always a blast: fun, lively competition where everyone cheers each other on. They also host Bingo every other Tuesday, also run by Emily and Angela, and it's just as entertaining. Yes, there are prizes for both! Just bring a little cash for the bingo cards -- they're super reasonable. The drinks are impressively affordable, and they actually have pretty good dive-bar food, which is such a bonus. And I can't forget the amazing bartender, Leilani, who somehow keeps up with everyone and still remembered my name the second time I came in. This is truly the definition of a neighborhood "nice kind of dive bar" -- full of heart, good energy, and people who make you feel right at home.

You order at the bar or if you sit at a table long enough the bartender will come to you and take your order. Food: -Garlic Tater Tots ($5.25) 5/5 technically it's not on the menu but we were able to get tater tots substituted instead of fries. These were super crispy and delicious, came with a side of ranch. -Bowl of chili ($5.75) 4/5 A decent bowl of chili that was super generous with the cheese and onions. It tastes like what you expect to get at a bar, ball game or at 7-11. I would get it again since it's so nostalgic. -Combo Sampler ($13.95) 5/5. Love the variety. Came with wings, onion rings, jalapeño poppers, and mozzarella sticks. Everything was fried well and the jalapeño poppers were so crispy and delicious. Came out super hot too. If you want to try a little bit of everything, definitely get this. -Fajitas ($10.95), 3.5/5. The fajitas were decent but I was underwhelmed. It came with a side of sour cream, salsa (tasted like jarred store bought salsa) and a small side of avocado. I wouldn't get it again but it was decent for what it was. I'd rather eat the fried appetizers. -NY Steak Sandwich ($16.95) 3.5/5. Again, decent but not great. It is still a great bang for your buck and for that reason I'd probably get it again. We opted for the housemade potato salad and it was good-- but probably could've used more seasoning or more salt. TLDR: fried appetizers are super crispy and fried well. Definitely would get the appetizers since it's so cheap and affordable.
