We were so excited to see another Korean restaurant was opening in Tallahassee, and Kami Poke does not disappoint. We have been twice in the last 3 days because of how good it is! We have gotten the bulgogi, kimchi dumpling soup, bulgogi kimchi fried rice, and the spicy tuna roll. Everything is delicious and fresh. The kimchi is super yummy and perfectly spicy - it made the soup perfect for the rainy weather we have been having. The bulgogi is tender and full of flavor! The sushi is yummy and very well priced considering how much tuna we got. We got so much food for the price - easily enough for leftovers the next day. We are so excited to keep coming back to try everything on the menu. We have been missing Korean food since moving from Orlando and are so excited to have Kami Poke now! read more

Absolutely amazing little restaurant. Best place I've ever been for poke. The ingredients were fresh, seasoned beautifully, and served in very generous portions. I travel a lot, and this is quite literally the best poke in the 7 states I've lived in. At first glance it doesn't look like much, but never judge a book by its cover. I will definitely be going back, and this will definitely be my new go to poke bowl place. The atmosphere is mediocre, but nice and quiet. The staff is not very talkative/friendly but that doesn't bother me much with the work they do behind the counter! They ensure that you'll be eating great! read more

Excellent food. The amount of fish offered in the poke bowls is the largest I've found outside of Hawaii. Seoul is one of my favorite cities and the seafood ramen and bulgogi were excellent. I've been multiple times and have yet to have a bad meal. Staff is quiet, but service is prompt. read more

Excited to have another Korean restaurant open in Tallahassee. The indoor dinning area is currently closed and they have temporarily constructed a walk up and order/pickup pass through window. For lunch today, I ordered the Korean seafood pancake (pajeon), bulgogi and a spicy tuna roll. That was way more than I could eat for lunch but wanted to try several dishes and have leftovers. All three items were delicious! And the house kimchi was good too. Everything on the menu looked delicious and I can't wait to order from them again. read more

First thing first, the food was absolutely great. I ordered the create your own poke bowl and all of the ingredients are fresh and tasty! The bowl was completely full and presentation was nice. Although you can't go in, you can see the employees wearing mask and gloves so rest assure your food was properly handled. I have not tried there other food but if you are looking to eat traditional Korean food, this is truly not the place. I ordered the Bulgogi and it just tasted nothing like what it is supposed to taste like and more like a Mongolian beef or something in that realm. Way over salted and not tender. The kimchi, I felt like I was eating a spoon of salt with every bite. I also ordered a bibimap beef and same thing as far as over salting goes. The egg was burnt and the veggies were in a stir fry like sauce. It was just not the Korean traditional food I was expecting. I have nothing to say about their other menu items. I'm not sure why Tallahassee has had such bad luck with Korean restaurants, but this looks like things are turning around. The bulgogi is very good, and the japchae with chicken was delicious. I'd never seen kimchi fried rice with bulgogi before, but I'm glad I tried it -- I ate way more than I should have. One caution on the kimchi -- it's really tasty, but may be a bit spicy if you're not used to it. The portions are huge. One of the good things about leftovers is a fritata with bulgogi, rice and kimchi. My wife and I are going every week or so, and we're eager for things to open up so we can go for a nice sit-down meal. read more

This place is amazing!!!!! Fans of One Piece and Korean food will not be disappointed. There is incredible wall art all over! I've tried a handful of sushi, the super bowl, and a kimchi pancake so far, and they were all excellent. My only critique would be that the super bowl has a lot of sauce that was the slightest bit overpowering. I Love Korean food, and until recently there were very few restaurants that served more than just Korean barbecue. Now on Apalachee Parkway there is a wonderful Korean restaurant that focuses on providing wonderful carry out service. You can order a bowl of poke made exactly to your preferences, by choosing the protein, base, veggies, and sauces. You can also order any of their specials which already have the choices made for you. I got the Bibimap with fried tofu , and it was wonderful! Spicy but not too hot, and it came with some delicious kimchi and a small green salad with fantastic ginger dressing! Another time I ordered a Make Your Own poke bowl, and put together a wonderful combination with shrimp and ahi tuna and veggies over a salad base. Again the blending of flavors was just perfect! Super smart way of doing pickup during the pandemic! It was our first time trying their food. We were excited about there being another Korean restaurant in town; plus it's much closer to home than the other one. (The other Korean restaurant was super disappointing, unfortunately.) We have had some excellent Korean cuisine in Gainesville, FL, in Davis, CA and in Albany, NY. We tried the tteokbokki, japchae, kimchi bulgogi fried rice, and bulgogi spicy pork. Everything was tasty, but my husband and I felt everything was saltier and sweeter than what we've experienced as authentic cuisine. That being said, when I'm reality craving korean, this is my go to place in town 100%! I would definitely reorder the tteokbokki--the spiciness level was on point! Made out 2nd trip to Kami Poke today and it was as delicious as the first! Today we got beef bulgogi and Japcha. Both were very good portions and very delicious! Last time we got sushi bowls and they were huge and so yummy! Last time we also go the Korean popcorn chicken appetizer - it was plentiful and not greasy at all. I am so excited to be able to get Korean Fried Chicken in Tally. One of my favorite foods from back home that nowhere sold until now.

A little over the top with the social distancing but the food was delicious. I ended up getting the Bibimap with beef.

Got dragged to this place for a lunch, poke seems a little trendy for my particular taste (and im told is served cold so i skipped) so my expectations were LOW. Wrong! On a whim tried the "Spicy Chicken Strips" which turned out just amazingly delicious. Pounded flat and fried with a very light batter, coated with spicy Korean sauce. And potrtioned so I could not finish - but oh how I tried. Also tried my lunch mates bolgogi Chicken, which was also outstanding! Really nice folks too. It was so delicious, definitely the best poke on town i've tried. the fish was fresh, they loaded me up instead of giving me 70% rice in my both. the 3 scoops size was only 14 bucks which was great, definitely a lotta food so i'm sure the 2 scoops would fill anyone up just fine. plus, avocado and seaweed salad wasn't extra which is incredible. plus, super safe and great handling of covid and making sure there was proper contactless pick up. no complaints! read more
