Ambiance is great and the girl at the counter is very nice. Our coffee came out quickly, and was good, however we waited almost an hour for food (eggs and pancakes) even though it wasn't busy inside at all. When it came out the eggs were so overcooked they were practically inedible, and had hair on it. The pancakes were pretty good though. Would've been fine waiting so long if the food was actually good but everything was mid at best, and a bit overpriced even for the area.

Café and service were both outstanding! Local gem on Loiza street! The café is very eclectic and full of art, great vibe for any who appreciate the culture of putting old objects and art together to create something beautiful! We had a little bit of everything café, breakfast and fresh squeezed juices all locally sourced. You can also do a little bit of shopping too for something unique and one of a kind!!

Very friendly staff. Strawberry matcha was good, sure. But for $8??? Morning wrap was good but not worth the HOUR wait. Not sure what's going on in the kitchen but it does not physically take that long to make a tiny egg wrap. Our plan was to just stop in for a quick breakfast bite before the beach, but we wasted over an hour for plain food. Wouldn't stop again.

The ranchero toast was great, same for the chicken pesto wrap and the side or potatoes. Great ambiance and a nice little spot to relax and enjoy some time. Warm service and friendly atmosphere.

This place was referred to us by the hotel we stayed at (Double Tree) and I am glad they did. This place is very unique and eclectic. Our server Diego was amazing and the food was great. Go check it out!

Amazing ambience and yummy smaller plates. Cute eclectic decor and nice servers! Only reason I rated four stars is because the food takes a while to come out, so just be prepared to chill and take in the vibes.

The $4 coffee was lukewarm. The $9.50 juice was watered down. The $6 side of potatoes that fit in a very small bowl were undercooked. So our 2 juices, 2 coffees and 2 sides of potatoes came to $50 before tip. Save your money and go get a nice meal elsewhere. I don't mind paying for a great or even good dining experience, but this was so underwhelming, I had to write this. The waitress was super sweet though.

Amazing! I lived in San Juan for several years for years for school but happened to stumble upon this place when I came back from visit. Has a really great hipster vibe. Fresh local ingredients and inventive food. The yuca crust pizza with pesto and sundried tomato was delicious (and is gluten free for my fellow GF friends out there). It has an adorable vibe inside and great music. Definitely coming back here weather it be for a cup of coffee, a smoothie or some food!

Juice is a definite 4 stars, but 3 stars for the service and average quality of food. I had the French toast sandwich without the ham and plus the egg. It was cold when I got my meal, I don't know exactly why we were waiting so long for the food, but we waited a while. The other order was just an omelet (which was supposed to be scrambled eggs), and the potatoes on this order were also cold. There was also supposed to be some homemade jam alongside this dish, and when we asked about it, they said they were out. The food was pretty average overall.I'm more impressed by the decor than anything else. Cute place but nothin to write home about!

Small and lovely - palimpsestic walls with images from yesteryear and yesterday. The tables are made from old sewing machine desks, still having the large ornate metal pedals on the floor. The front counter has a hint of old timey'ness to it, too. Wood detailing and walls covered with colorful paint or scrawled words (maybe of poetry, preferably the last words of a madman). They've got beer, they've got food, they've got coffee and they have smoothies. All except the latter I haven't tried yet - but the Acai smoothie went down cool and easy for a mid-afternoon saving grace before we Hulked out from low blood sugar. I liked our server - friendly, down to earth, not overly chatty or too brisk. The whole place is that nice teetering point between hippy, hipster, and bourgie without falling victim to the pitfalls of any of those camps. I plan to stop back in when the clothing boutique part of the cafe is open to see what they've got going on up there. [ [ Also, in case I don't get to adding/reviewing the other businesses, this block just so happens to be what I will call the Little Williamsburg of San Juan (without the assholery or pretension). There's a little pseudo-messenger bike shop, a men's clothing boutique, and a hip-as-fuck bar with beer, booze, and tacos. There's also a little cafe that has tapas and brunch right next door. And babes abound (in their 20s and early 30s). ] ]

Tons of delicious looking healthy options! My sister had a coconut stir fry & I had a smoothie bowl! The servers were very kind and accommodated to our wishes! Try the smoothie bowl and get almond butter on top! Delicious! The granola was very very sugary though and it was a bit expensive. But other than that we thought it was great! My sister really loved it! read more

6 of us ate here for brunch on a Monday. The service was good, but a bit slow. We all ordered breakfast food, and 5 out of 6 of us liked our food a lot, but one person's pancakes were over cooked a bit. I really enjoyed my banana pancakes, and my wife had the Nutella and strawberry ones. Let me tell you - they used half a jar of Nutella on them. The pancakes are somewhat pricey for pancakes, but you'd have to be starving to eat all of it. Several of us had lattes, and I would rate them above average. The vibe of the place is cool and casual. The server was bilingual and super nice. The meal was relaxed (perhaps a bit too slow), but enjoyable. I would eat here again, and we'd probably look in the shop upstairs. read more

The atmosphere of this cafe is very hip. Too hip one might say? The indoor and outdoor areas of this place are uniquely decorated and quite charming though. My boyfriend ordered an americano and a wrap. Both were pretty fantastic and the price was right. Although the place was not very busy, service was slow. It took a while for us to get our coffee and our waitress was just kind of clueless. read more

Cute, hipster-vibe, standard coffee house music, friendly, hip staff. Moderately priced. Slightly long wait for food for how slow the day was...maybe it's the Puerto Rican time change. Also, don't be fooled - the 'Detox' "juice" is actually water with lemon, mint and apples in it. Not $4-awesome. Salmon Rolls were DUH-Lucius. Just wish there were more...sigh. I guess that's why it's a starter. read more

Food is good and healthy and on this Island there aren't that many healthy choices so it's a good find. However, I waited 45 minutes for the soup of the day and almost an hour for the chicken pot during my lunch break from work... so moral of the story... only go when you can wait an hour for your food! The ambience is adorable and shabby chic. Very cute. read more

Cute little coffee shop within walking distance of our hotel. The decor is very vibrant and whimsical: brightly colored mirrors adorn the walls while boho-looking embellished chandeliers with beads and teapots hang from the ceiling. There is not shortage of random knick-knacks covering just about every square foot of this place and I wish I could have come here more than once to try other things on their menu. I came here for breakfast and got a BST (bacon, spinach, tomato) scramble which was delicious, and my boyfriend ordered the French toast with ham and cheese with walnuts. Yes, it sounds weird, but we're from Portland and this was right up our alley - so good. They have a huge juice bar menu and everything from their juices to shakes to smoothies sounded delicious. They also make espresso drinks, so if you're in the area come to this lovely locale! Skip the Starbucks - you're in San Juan. read more

Great spot in San Juan on calle Loiza! If you're looking for a break from the heavy Puerto Rican cuisine (no offense) this spot is just the place. They have a juice bar, breakfast, brunch & lunch items. Food was well cooked & well seasoned. Also, it's friggin adorable. read more

This was a pretty nice spot we found not far from our hotel in parque area. Walked a few blocks and found it to be a neighborhood gem. Very much a bohemian vibe like the rest of the parque area it uses lots of natural ingredients in combination with creative ideas about brunch food. Love the plantain omelette and fresh fruit on the side. Nice latte mixed with the very chill atmosphere and artsy beach house decor make for a relaxed feel and good catalyst for convo. The staff are nice and make you feel at home. Next time I visit PR I may not stay in the area but I will try to come here again. read more

If you are looking for an off the beaten path bali influenced boutique eatery with healthy contemporary food, internet and shabby chic decor ... this is a cool joint to check out. I give the owners of this space cudos for bringing such character to this spot. You feel the love as you enter ... and there are so many nooks and crannies to explore. Its really a lovely place to enjoy some coffee and do some work. The only downside is that the food & menu need some refinement. We liked our dishes but did not love them. We'd love to see more breakfast options. Perhaps more visit will revel the hidden culinary gems. After our meal Sara delighted in exploring the colthing shop upstairs. All in all a great experience so they get the 5 star = GO! rating. read more

Can we say, vibes?!! All types of serenity feels while eating here. But aside from that, food was amazing! Best brunch I had on the trip. Very relaxing, serene yet slightly hippie atmosphere, which contributed to the ultimate experience. I got the pancakes with bananas and pecans and it was so tasty and filling! One of the best wraps I've had. Ordered the grouper wrap and it was cooked to perfection. Lettuce was fresh and patted dry (i despise soggy wraps.) Juice was decent but I probably wouldn't go there for the juice since its about double as what it is everywhere else. Supposed to be organic, maybe that's why. An awesome place to dine and hang out leisurely with good indoor and outdoor spaces. Service was great, IMO. The decor of this place is what attracted me. The food was kind of bland (veggie pot) and pricey for what it was. The sangria was another story though. What was I thinking ordering a carafe of sangria for 2! They definitely didn't skimp on the rum. Visited another time to try an acai bowl, which turned out to be acai sorbet or something, not what I was expecting. You also can't just order at the counter which was annoying for something so simple. Service was soooo slow that time. We had to get up and ask for the check otherwise we would have been sitting there forever. read more

I really liked this place because of various factors: originality, Caribbean vibe, the food and the juices. Their menu has many interesting smoothies which make you wonder how the combinations work but they sound interesting enough to try them out. I had the "let's go green shake" which is a kale almond milk and coconut shake. It was delicious. My boyfriend had the piña colada and it was also great. For food I had the banana walnut pancakes with sweet condensed milk .... It was very very savory, I loved it. My boyfriend had the salmon omelet, it was a very large portion. As mentioned the food was good so the price was fair; food on the area of the island is a bit pricey so this was to be expected. The vibe is good, it was very Caribbean and the decoration is nice. read more

I was walking by this restaurant on my way to another for a late breakfast. This place looked appealing from a far with part of the restaurant open to the outdoors (I always look for places where I can eat outside). I decided to come here and was so glad I did! I ate probably the best banana pancakes I've had. The atmosphere is very relaxing and they have a lot of healthy options. I would definitely come back. read more

Friendly service, juice beer & coffee, free WiFi, groovy mood, delicious offerings. But prices are a bit high, even considering the sometimes-organic ingredients and location. There's a little closet with a bin of toys so you can linger a while even after the kids flee from the table. read more

My boyfriend and I went to this place to have breakfast. We love the ambiance and decorations, it is a very unique place. I ordered the banana pancake with a side of bacon; it was delicious. My boyfriend ordered the salmon omelette with goat cheese. I forgot the name of it but it was to die for. I also had the stay fresh juice and passion fruit mimosas. Everything was delicious the only reason I didn't give them 5 stars was because the juice was a bit pricey. It was $8.99 for a jar glass of juice. read more

I am giving it one star only for the service and the coffee because it was very good. This place is very pretty, has a nice ambiance and the menu look great, but the food execution IS NOT GOOD... I remember the "old" Kamoli, when it first opened. I really loved it and used to visit a lot. But things changed. What happened? Very inconsistent so I stopped visiting and now that they "re-opened" I was very exited. I invited an old friend to have brunch there. I was the only customer. I ordered poached eggs and she ordered an eggplant bowl. OMG! My portion was SUPER SMALL and instead of English muffin, it was a sort of sweet roll (witch are supper soft) and it was soggy and mushy as hell... I ordered the egg yolks hard, they arrived soft anyways and the eggs tasted like pure vinegar... It was like they poached the eggs in a bottle of vinegar without diluting it in water... The hollandaise sauce was white..WHITE! Yes, a sauce that is made of egg yolks was white... like mayonnaise with some green spices in it... I took like three bites. I I could not believe it ! I do not like wasting food but ended up splitting the food on a napkin... IT WAS INEDIBLE, it look nasty. My friends plate was bad too... The eggplant was bland, the hummus has a "refrigerator" taste, and it was bad in general. Very sad.. I paid all... But it was bad bad bad... Please, if you had no chef and were not ready to open, you shouldnt have because now you lost this custumer AGAIN and FINAL when I was giving this place another chance... But it may be a nice spot, very pretty place, but if tue food is not good, well ... you get the idea... I only visit local places to support them, but if you come here, the coffee is good... CHANGE YOUR CHEF and HAVE BETTER STANDARDS. I wish I had a picture. read more

I should have followed the advice of Puerto Rican friends who told us not to go here . We waited over 20 min to order and then 30 min for a juice. Then another 20 min for the other juice and coffee. Terrible juices and the food never arrived. We waited a while longer and gave up and left Puerto Rican's have told us that this place only attracts tourists that get fooled by fake reviews. Do some research and you'll find better options like Pure and natural and Freshiies . read more

All I have to say is FABULOSO...... our first time in Puerto Rico and we ventured into this restaurant for breakfast. It was amazing. The people working the place gave us great friendly service and also advice on where to go on the island. I had a tiny cappuccino and the acai bowl and it was SO GOOD OMG. But I ended up eating half my boyfriends pancakes cuz they were AMAZING. Best pancakes I've ever had. Reasonably priced and great atmosphere. I'm going back before I leave! Worth the visit no matter where you're staying. read more

This place was great in terms of a healthy eating place. I honestly didn't have any of the entrees but from what I ordered, I wouldn't recommend this place. I had some steak dumplings that tasted like they were undercooked. The prices were a little expensive for simple little meals. Overall though the staff were good and ambience of the place is very relaxing. I loved the espresso man! read more

I'm in love with this place!!! Just walking in, greeted by the incense at the door and candlelight on the tables (even at 8:15 am). Then, a genuine warm friendly hello and smile from an employee!! The ambience in here makes me instantly calm and zen!! It's eclectic and full of Buddhas, candle holders, beads, color, warmth, cozy goodness but it's the energy that captivated me!!! How is this the first day I discovered this amazing treasure!!!??? Beyond just the feel good atmosphere the coffee is divine and boldly delicious! Kamoli is the epitome of the cool boho café. Of course, we all know that you can't pull off the boho look without the lackluster attitude. We ordered a smoothie and some pancakes. The smoothie was fresh, but a little steep for the amount you're given. To be fair, I am comparing it to Pinky's down the street where you can get a full blender for the same price (*hint hint*). We waited 40 minutes for sub-par pancakes. My boyfriend commented that during this time, we could've gone to the store, bought ingredients, and made better pancakes ourselves. So sad, yet so true. If you have plans outside of breakfast for your day, I recommend choosing another spot. read more

If you go to this restaurant something that will definetly grab your attention is the decoration. It has a very cool vibe and the location suits it perfectly! Everything is great about this place. ..except the food. If you have tastebuds you may want to look elsewhere from their lunch/dinner menu. Had chicken and fish pots and fish dumplings, there was no flavor whatsoever. After reading the reviews I kinda wish I would have had pancakes for lunch. Otherwise, there are other redeeming qualities; the decor is different from most places, almost reminded me of small restaurants in Thailand. The wait staff is very friendly. ...cant say the same for the owner who didnt even smile or say come again and I'm a local who lives 5 blocks away. With so many better options in the area i can't say that I would return for the food. However, next door their is an LA style boutique owned by the same owner, which has cute things. read more

I absolutely love Kamoli Cafe Butik the service was great the food amazing the tea Is great too but the coffee is the best in town in my opinion. Great healthy option and diverse juice bar. The ambience is relax and great for brunch. Food its ok! Don't get me wrong I love place but I was expecting a lot better and thats why I am rating it a 3, I am confident that they could dos lot better! In terms of the service, the staff is very attentive and nice but time is an issue! I waited 53 min to receive a plate of eggs Benedict which was cold and the eggs were over cooked. The food is nothing special and the owner is mean, obnoxious and treated her employees rude in front of us. In fact I've heard from many people that they have witnessed this same behavior before. The business practices of this restaurant are despicable. I've known people who once worked for this establishment and were never paid for their hours worked.
