CARE-I get my haircut from Zemma and she always takes good care of me. Maybe the track record of getting a hair cut once a month for the past 4 years is enough said about not just the haircut and look but how they make you feel and are so welcoming. It was great. For the color, she said that a lighter color might not actually look the best on me and a subtle brown might be better! I was pretty down for whatever she thought looked good so I trusted the process again. Let me tell you... this subtle brown looked so good with the cut. Also, my hair? Soft as HECK. It was kinda gritty before so I was shook when I touched my hair after the appt. She chatted with me lots and also gave me space too. It was a great balance and also she answered my questions!! Allen is incredibly detail-oriented, and I leave happy with my haircut every single time. I originally planned to grow out my bob after dyeing my hair dark brown from blonde, but I hated the awkward in-between length, so I went back to Allen to refresh it instead. I'm so glad I did. The first time I went to Allen was actually to fix my hair from my previous hair person. Allen was so informative and let me know what exactly my previous hair person did to make it look like that. He explained what he will do to fix it and throughout the entire process I could tell how meticulous he was. I felt like I was in good hands and after he was done, my hair looked like what I wanted it to look like in the first place!! I wanted a change with my hair so I decided to go back to Allen and see what magic he could work. His prices are fair and I always love my cut (and the experience is usually pretty quick). He's also super chill to talk to during the cut. I had a pretty traumatic haircut experience prior to meeting Richard where the lady chopped my hair way, way shorter than I asked because she said it was "healthier" for it. I came to Richard apprehensive because of this experience but he always cuts the hair a little longer for me and adjusts as we go, which I really appreciate. I've also had him color my hair a few times as well. Both of these experiences were positive and while I'm back to my natural color again, if I ever decided to go dark again, I wouldn't hesitate to reach out to Richard. Which feels like it's taken forever lol I'm currently at a pixie length and have been feeling like my hair needed some layers, texture and some TLC. I was basically rocking a helmet head hahaha I went to Justin and told him my hair goals of texture and irregular razored bangs.
