Our server Milos was friendly and knowledgeable. The menu offered a variety of options from sushi, and seasonal seafood to steak. Craft cocktails and an extensive by the glass wine list. The tuna tartar was one of the best appetizers we have ever had. Nice size portion 2-4 people. The Okinawa spritzer was light and refreshing. Kane's Tiki Bar is hands down one of the best spots on Marco Island. The ocean views are absolutely spectacular, and the sunsets are unforgettable--paired with the incredible atmosphere, it truly doesn't get better than this. The food and drinks did not disappoint. The pork ribs are insanely good--so addictive that I had to order a second round! I also tried the caipirinha, which was strong but delicious. The egg rolls were excellent, and while the dumplings were just okay, everything else really hit the mark. The bartenders, Chris and Rick, were fantastic--friendly, attentive, and they really added to the overall experience. Great tiki bar behind the JW Marriott, right on the beach. You can valet in the front and then walk down through the hotel. We like to come here for late night drinks and little plates of delicious food. Tried the toasted coconut mojito- so good I had two! We had the Coconut Shrimp app and it was very tasty, a nice mix of savory shrimp with a bit of salad. I had the Chilean Sea Bass and it was a very nice dish as well. The lady had the Thai shrimp and scallops and really liked it. I had a bite and must agree. We were too full for desert but will have to come back and try that sometime. Service from Warnell was top notch and we also got a check-in from the manager. We liked the casual ambiance although the place was a bit loud and the singer's volume could have been toned down. We will likely be back.

We specifically requested an indoor table. As we were traveling to the restaurant, we were driving in an awful lightning storm and were very glad we had made a reservation for indoors. We arrived to the restaurant and were seated outdoors despite it still raining. We were not happy, but some excuse was made about the radar and the rain stopping for the evening. We didn't complain, but weren't exactly happy. Our server came to take our order. We are accustomed to ordering tropical drinks and starting with the warm bread. Drinks were ordered and bread never came. We placed our dinner order and still no bread. Once our dinners came out, we were very disappointed to find that in spite of the price hikes, the portion sizes have been shaved down drastically. The normal flavor in our dishes wasn't present, and the tropical, no worries vibe was missing. Our entire crew of five all commented on how this just doesn't feel like a special dinner out anymore. I'm sad to see our tradition end, but there is nothing special about this place anymore. Try it for yourself. Maybe you'll find what we used to find here.

I had the pork chop, where getting it tender challenges many chefs. This one delivered: Perfectly done and seasoned just right. It doesn't come with vegetables so Marija suggested a half side of miso-chili broccoli, which was a great pairing. As we came in I noticed a lot of diners leaving with leftovers: portions were generous and we did same. For dessert, diners at next table raved about their giant 10 layer carrot cake. Marija offered me an off-the-menu 5-layer option that hit the spot. My wife had the flourless dark chocolate torte and ended up taking half home with us- it was very generous and really delicious. Bill was accurate and you pay at table on handheld terminals- no handing over your card and waiting. One of the more expensive restaurants we've eaten at here, but worth every dollar.
