Homebred is one of coolest boutique shops!. I come here from time to time to just browse the…read morecurrent selection. I love all the displays and organization within the store. It's all set up nicely from brand to brand. The staff are attentive and acknowledge you the moment you walk in. The pricing is all pretty accurate and adequate. For example, sneaker pricing is close to the same from the brand sites or other stores. I find myself browsing the whole store and have purchased items over all my visits for myself and during Christmas. They carry name brand street wear and all major Sneaker brands. They also have camping gear and other supplies from brands like Yeti. I don't take too many pictures each visit because I'm too busy shopping. They sell apparel collections of Nike, Jordan, Adidas, New Balance, ASICS to name a few. The apparel ranges from Nike, Nike ACG, Jordan, Patagonia, Carhartt, Stussy, North Face and many others. This is a gem to the city of Covina! If there's some sneakers you want, they might have it. Great store! ( ^_^)b

They're bringing a wide range of street wear and other brands you would normally see closer to LA and other major cities. Brands like Porter Yoshida (Japanese bag brand), Stussy, Museum of Peace & Quiet, Nike ACG, Snowpeak, Air Jordan, Patagonia, North Face, Unbranded Denim (Selvedge company related to Naked & Famous), the list goes on. They have good selection of items that are regular price and a sale rack for clearance items. I was first introduced to this store through sneaker raffles for their limited drops on retro Jordans, Nike SB and Kobe's. However this store does way more, they're constantly updating the setup, they have in-person activations, and the workers seem to have a genuine care about the customers and community they serve. The workers are very attentive in-store, every time I walk in I'm greeted and they're good about making sure you are helped without hovering over you. Their customer service is on point, they're friendly and get to know you without trying to oversell you for commission. I've been able to meet a couple of their employees such as Daniel (also works at sister company Shop At Kings Montclair) and Matt who I've run into outside of Homebred and is friendly to say hello. I am hoping they re-release the Homebred fitted cap with the city of Covina patch on the side hit!

I came here to buy a couple of polo shirts. I had been here many years ago looking for school…read moreuniforms for my daughter. The store was pretty much how I remembered it. Rows of clothing on racks with very little space to walk. Boxes of overstock on the floor that you must step around to get past. I struggled to get to the back of the store where I thought I might find the shirts I was looking for. A lady, I assume the owner, asked me what I was looking for. After I told her, she led me to the rack of polo shirts. She explained the pricing to me. As I began looking through the shirts, she said her cash register was not working that day and she was only taking cash. This was a major inconvenience since I did not have much cash on me. After deciding that there were shirts that I wanted to buy, I made my way out of the store so I could go find an ATM. After getting the much needed cash at a Wells Fargo, I returned. I went through the shirts and found four that I wanted. All were a brand that I never heard of. The fabric was a little heavier than I wanted but I went ahead and got them since the price was so reasonable. I made my way to the front to pay for them. A young girl was running the cash register which appeared to work. There was a handwritten sign that said they could not take credit cards since their machine was not working. The young lady was polite. She began talking to the older lady that had helped me earlier. She looked at the clothing tags and told her what the price should be. There appears to be no price tags on anything. There are handwritten signs on the various clothing racks which tells you the pricing. It seems like the owner has all the pricing cataloged in her brain. I paid for my purchase and they bagged it up for me. The girl said, "we exchange sizes, not colors." I said OK. I was in here on Veterans Day. There were two teenaged boys kind of hanging out in the front of the store. I guessed that the boys and the girl running the register must be the owner's kids that were out of school for the day. They seemed to be nice young people but looked kind of bored out of their minds. I got home and tried on the shirts. They fit but were a little tight. As long as they don't shrink, I should be fine. I would say that I got good value for the money I spent. The store is rather difficult to navigate. The aisles need to be wider and the boxes of overstock should be kept somewhere other than stacked in the floor. This is a no frills shopping experience. They have plenty of parking in the small shopping center where they are located. The clothes are very inexpensive. If they hold up, they are a real bargain.
