Stopped by here as I was craving some desi food. Ran into the owner and he was such an awesome guy. He was telling me a bit about his restaurant journey and why he started this restaurant and I completely agree with his thought process. Fresh and traditional Pakistani cooking ! The Naan was the best Naan I have ever had in the US. He mentioned that he got Tandoors imported from Pakistan. I had Chicken Kebab and Beef Kebab. The chicken kebabs were better in my opinion but wow, Just a great experience overall. Can't wait to go back and try the actual Karahi stuff for dinner. read more

So, We went to try this place recently because of the hype found on various halal groups on social media. First of all, a karahi should not be 45$ if you are going to put meat pieces that are like just bones. The service is completely lacking. As our last naan was finishing we ordered a few more. And that is where the wait began.... 15 minutes went by and finally our naan was served to us when our food was sitting there and had gotten cold. This all happened when it was us and another table occupied. It is nice for the chef/owner to come outside and greet the guests and ask how the food was but if you call yourself the "chef" At least be in the kitchen supervising what is happening when people order for extra naan. Also, all these riveting reviews seem like these halal bloggers being invited and served free food and they are in return giving great reviews. Mutton Karahi was $40 and only have bones without any taste at all. Charsi chicken karahi was not at all similar what it named but rather a sweet dish. Chicken karahi biryani rice was with more with white rice and less biryani masala. Salat lacking green leettuce and tomatoees. Staff argue on every thing. 1st and last time. Regret going there. Never had Pakistani food before but was willing to try. The food was absolutely delicious!! Huge portions too! We had the goat meat and rice dish which was very flavorful. I went here after seeing a video on Tik Tok. I was completely disappointed. Upon being seating, they do not bring water to the table. You have to buy bottled water. Any decent "restaurant" would provide you with water. The menu is very limited. The curries are sold per pound and do not come with rice. Even Indian takeout gives you rice and salad. The best tasting thing we ordered was the chicken boti. The dumplings and chicken Karahi lacked flavor and substance. There was barely any sauce to dip the naan in and it was flooded with oil. Went here last week , ordered Chicken Tandoori, and Chicken kabab and goat Biriyani. The food came out looking good , nice presentation, So took Pictures! But once We started eating it , Kababs were Sour and Tandoori had No Taste. They were over priced but expected good taste . The waitress replaced the kabab with Malai kabab Which was tasteless and Salty. Overall 1 Star for presentation. Will not recommend or Return . There are many restaurants around today serving mediocre food at premium prices. This isn't one of them. Prices here are very reasonable, the food is top notch, and the service was excellent. The chicken tikka was tender, juicy and had just the right seasoning. The sesame naan was very good as well. I will be back for their other dishes. read more

This place specializes in one thing.. Karahi and that's why it's sooo good. We tried the Seekh Kebab, Charsi / Baby Chicken Karahi and the Charsi /Baby Mutton Karahi and they were all stellar. The price is per pound and it's totally worth it. The curry / masala is crazy flavorful. Easily the best Karahi I've ever had and maybe the best Chicken dish period. The owner makes every Karahi himself!! Don't come here for other food or expect a wider selection of Indian / Pakistani dishes. You also won't get any / many vegetarian options. This place is all about high quality meat cooked in the Karahi preparation and it's very well worth it. read more

The chicken Karahi its self lacked flavor and was 80% bones. We showed the waiter the amount of bones and lack of meat but he mentioned this was normal. We were party of 13 people came to dine on Dec 31st 2022. There was no courteous table water served ever to the table from beginning to end. Only two waiter were serving one did not understand at all and other was a female with attitude problem. There was no service at all from beginning to end but were charged gratuity of $90.24 !!!! Over charging us which we did not even have or was not in the table. Bill was very very expensive. Goat were charged $34.99 per LB we ordered 4 LB you could buy half fresh goat with this amount of money. Plus they charged Credit card processing fee which is a violation and a compliable in NY state. If they are a merchant and accepting credit card these charges are not legal. So my request to everyone please be careful. Advertising Halal and then kicking the ass from behind is not good. Otherwise please withdraw Halal word. read more

Service sucks!!! And they charge an 18% gratuity right off the back. They bring everything to you within minutes and expect you to make space on a jammed table. It's like they are rushing you out as we didn't get to enjoy any of the meal at all as 3 appetizers along with 2 entrees and all kids meals all came at once even though I told them in advance to make sure all kids meals and appetizers come out first and not to rush the main entrees.Fries and tenders are definitely from Jetro/restauraunt depot as it's the worst possible quality you can get. You literally have to ask for even the basic condiments that should come along with most dishes anyway.. the menu is very small and portions are also small. Oh and btw they charge for even basic water!! $2 for a Poland spring bottle that costs them roughly .20cents! No other size available as well! read more
