I have walked by this local restaurant many times. It has an old world feel with dark wood Chinese motifs and a dark interior. I was surprised at the large menu. They have Happy Hour daily Tues-Sun from 2pm-5pm. I ordered a Bangkok Margarita for $9. Actually quite good. For HH, I got 4 fried pork wontons for $6. Wontons were well filled with a spicy sauce. Next was the HH Sesame Chicken. I got 10 pieces of crispy chicken with a cup of white rice and veggies for only $9. I added the Hello Kitty cocktail with Absolute Citrus Vodka, Jumnai sake and cranberry juice. We'll fortified with vodka and Sake. I was served by the owner, Yeou bin H.

My husband and I came here for the first time today with some friends, and we're so grateful we now know about this hidden gem! Everything we had was fresh and flavorful, and the staff was very welcoming of our loud and boisterous group lol We were the only table in there for about an hour on Saturday afternoon, and while it was nice to have the place to ourselves, I hope they are typically busy, because they deserve it! Delicious food, awesome service, and great ambiance.

I've been trying to branch out a little bit and try more spots around the neighborhood and I've never been to Karma. This will absolutely be one of my go to take out spots from now on! The staff was incredible and so kind. I was rushing to a movie and they were so accommodating. The food was fresh and so flavorful. I love anything from a Wok, so this was right up my alley. The edamame and the sesame chicken were my favorite. Def recommend!!

I just wanna start off by saying the spicy edamame was the best edamame I have ever had. Perfectly flavorful and smoky!!! The teokbokki had a nice crunch to it and the drunken noodles were full of veggies! I wish the sauce was a bit more flavorful but overall everything was delicious. We arrived for a group of 6 on a Friday night and were sat immediately. service was great and they were present but did not rush us. The vibes were casual and perfect for a Friday night group dinner :)

My tofu panang curry was ok, nothing special about the sauce. My friends got the pineapple and mango ones and said they were too sweet. Singapore rice noodle was good.

Came into Karma on a Sunday night after a day on South Broadway and was very glad we finished the night off here. I started looking over the menu and they had so much stuff that sounded great. Asian Fusion for sure with most coming from either Thai or Chinese options. We started with the classics. Crab Cheese Wontons and Steam Pork Dumplings. You know our good too. We of course got some Saki too because the night wasn't over yet. We chatted with our waiter a bit too who was extremely friendly and helpful. We were also a fan of their fish needed Karma of course. We then order entrees which we pretty much just shared. We got the Pad Thai with Shrimp, Drunken Noodles with Beef, General Tao's Chicken, and the Kal Bi. I will say all of these were very good and would order each again. Plus the prices were get too. The Shrimp Pad Thai was different for most Pad Thai I have had but was very good. The noodles were a little different too and was saucer then most but we really enjoyed it plus the shrimp where huge and perfectly cooked $16. The Beef Drunken Noodles were my call and was great too. Saucy, tender beef with the perfect amount of veggies. Plus at only $14 this is a win for sure. The General Tao's Chicken was also different from what I'm used too but we really enjoyed it. The chicken was so crispy with the right amount of sauce made it not get soggy at all. It also came with more veggies then what I'm used too but I really enjoyed them $14. The Kal Bi were basically Korean Short Ribs and you know I love Short Ribs so we had to get them. Could have maybe been a little more tender but the flavor was amazing $20. If you are in the area you have to stop by Karma!

Great food, great service. Would recommend checking out. Golden tofu is perfectly golden. The ahi tuna salad is amazing:)

The pad Thai was basically a peanut sauce dish, heavily sweet. Not normal pad thai! Good portion of chicken and noodles, but not what I was expecting. Good buy one, get one free beer and wine deal. Great service. Our waiter was funny!

I was pleasantly surprised by this little hole in the wall! My boyfriend and I walked past on our daily walk last week and so we decided to stop by for dinner. The restaurant is dimly lit with cool lo-fi beats playing in the background. It's super casual and exactly the vibe I wanted. We ordered the spicy sesame chicken and salt and pepper pork. The chicken had great flavor but was not spicy. Definitely could use more spice. But given that downtown Denver is all white people, I get why they make it mild. Lolz. The pork was super tasty as well! I think it could've been crispier but the flavor was spot on. It reminded me of my childhood ordering this dish at Chinese restaurants with my parents. We each were served a small bowl of white rice. It was honestly the perfect amount. Service was great. I would 1000% come back and try some other dishes on the menu.

Great music, yummy food. Went here on a whim and it was a pleasant surprise. We also got a pot of jasmine tea to share.

I've eaten here before and food always tasted delicious. Service is always good. I ended up order food for delivery. I received my food in a timely manner. Food was still hot and once I took my first bite it was delicious If you want some spiciness, I recommend the Jaam Bong

quick and efficient take-out service. high-quality ingredients, very tasty pineapple sauce to go with the crab cheese wontons, and juicy lo mein. my one caveat is that the tofu in my noodles could've been a little crispier. although i didn't eat in the restaurant, when i picked up my food, the place smelled good and had cute decor.

A friend and I visited on an extremely hot Saturday afternoon. The interior was cool, chill and inviting, with a lo-fi soundtrack. I ordered the mango and veggie stir fry with tofu. It was fantastic! Tons of fresh vegetables--broccoli, snow peas, red peppers, onion, carrots, and soft fluffy pillows of tofu with a light corn starch coating. My friend got the Dan Dan noodles and said they were terrific also. Our server was friendly and attentive but not overly so. We will definitely be going back.

Let's start with the jianbing. It's built on a scallion pancake base, which is a bit thicker than the more traditional version I'm used to, but honestly, I'm not mad about it. It's sturdy, flavorful, and generously loaded with steak. This is not a dainty, whisper-thin breakfast crepe. This is a confident, well-fed jianbing that wants you to be happy and full. The pork belly deserves its own moment. Actually, maybe a standing ovation. It's incredibly tender, deeply flavorful, and clearly treated with care. I had it in the spicy noodles and again in a bao bun, and both times it was excellent. Rich without being heavy, indulgent without tipping into too much. Pork belly doing exactly what pork belly is supposed to do. Now let's talk about the mala wings. These wings are spectacular. Like, "what every chicken wing dreams of becoming when it grows up" spectacular. Crispy, bold, numbing in all the right ways, and dangerously addictive. If you order one thing here, make it these. If you don't order these, I gently question your life choices. I also really appreciate MAKfam's unapologetic embrace of MSG. No fear, no fuss, just smart, thoughtful use of an ingredient that exists to make food delicious. And guess what? It works. Everything is savory, balanced, and satisfying without feeling overdone. Bottom line: this is a genuinely fun place to eat. The food has personality, confidence, and heart. From an Asian fusion perspective, it absolutely delivers, and it's easy to see why they've earned their Michelin mention.

Told 35-40 min wait to start the night and ended up waiting for slightly over an hour. This led to some subpar dishes ordered such as the Boa buns with stewed pork & spicy noodles that weren't spicy. The highlights were the scallion pancakes (small portion despite paying typical price) and the wings which were 5 out of 5 with big flavor & came ripping hot. Don't understand the hype on this place at all. The line got to 29 parties and the food is fine at best (besides the wings). Personally would not come back but the wings saved the night so GET THEM

The menu is limited in the number of items but they are all over the map (in a *good* way -- really something for everyone). We ordered a Bahn Xeo crepe (not quite our bag, texture-wise). My wife ordered the Noodle Bowl (enjoyed tremendously). I ordered "Grandma's Meatloaf," which was actually tasty, if a bit crumbly, meatloaf, using noodles as the binding/moisture agent. They have very imaginative and tasty cocktails. SERVICE: Despite a very full house, service was pretty attentive and very pleasant. AMBIANCE: Decor-wise, the place is great -- large fans on the wall, baskets on the ceiling to mask pipes and ducts plus reduce noise levels, nicely attractive, and overall evocative of the Asian motif. The place was very crowded, and the only deuce was right by the door and the cold breeze -- but the staff made us feel welcome and the experience was just what we wanted. NET-NET: We had a fine meal, and enjoyed ourselves. Who could ask for more?

The sauce on top was lacking and this dish really needs some protein. We also did not enjoy the cheeseburger dumplings. They did not have any cheese in them and the spicy mustard on top did not go with what we felt like the theme of the dish should be. I will say that every dish has great presentation. When we went, it was late. However, none of the servers seemed extremely interested in helping and they would drop items and quickly leave before you could say anything. They do have an online order and pay system which is really nice and the food comes out quickly. They do keep your sodas filled. The ambiance is definitely more bar like (again, makes sense since it was late) since they have a bar upstairs. Not a place for kids. We would come again for some shu mai and pork buns, but that's all.

All of the dishes we had were served on modern plates to give the dishes a modern flair. Our server was very friendly and attentive and the food was decent enough. So why the 2 star review? From the moment we sat down, it was clear that the service here operates at a different level. Our server was exceptionally well versed in the menu and sake pairings, explaining ingredients, preparation, and flavor profiles with confidence and genuine enthusiasm. You can tell the waitstaff is deeply trained to understand the food, beverages, and how everything works together. Their sake recommendations were spot‑on and elevated the meal even further. Every dish we ordered was executed beautifully. The miso eggplant was silky and deeply flavorful, perfectly balanced between savory and sweet. The miso black cod was rich, flaky, and melt‑in‑your‑mouth tender, while the mixed seafood tempura was light, crisp, and impeccably fried without a hint of greasiness. Each appetizer showcased refined technique and restraint. The Colorado steak with truffled potatoes was another standout. The steak was cooked perfectly and paired beautifully with the earthy richness of the truffled potatoes, easily holding its own among the sushi offerings. The moment that truly made the night unforgettable was the Osaka‑style pressed sushi served aburi‑style. It quite literally changed my son's life and opened his love for sushi. We ended up ordering several more of these incredible bites of salmon, topped with mayo and lightly flame‑kissed, resting on perfectly seasoned sushi rice. The fish here is so clean, well cured, and expertly prepared that I strongly recommend ordering a side of fresh wasabi--it brightens and elevates the flavors even further. The lobster sushi and scallop sushi were also exceptionally fresh and delicious, reinforcing the level of care taken with their seafood. Dessert was the perfect finale. The green tea tiramisu was light, creamy, and indulgent without feeling heavy. To cap it off, our waiter brought us yuzu and lychee sorbets, which offered a refreshing, citrusy finish and showed thoughtful hospitality. As we were leaving, something small but meaningful stood out. All of the sushi chefs looked up, raised their heads together, and warmly thanked us with sincere goodbyes. It was a gracious, heartfelt gesture that perfectly reflected the hospitality we felt throughout the evening. We cannot wait to return.
